The amount of promotion Ep8 is getting. A live screening with Voice actors in the event, new posters specifically for the episode. It seems like it's the highlight episode of the season. We might even get to see Nakamura in action. Would be great if they heavily extend the action for Shoto vs Dabi although this does make me worry about Endeavor vs AFO because that Fight is probably the best fight in MHA and I want it done justice.
Bro Endeavor went straight GOBLIN MODE I’ll be damned if any fights with AFO aren’t good💀because AFO was fighting the stars whole last war being Iron Might, Deku, Bakugo, and Endeavor (others ofc but these 4 really had the one on one against the final boss)

An interesting detail I noticed is that in the manga, one of Bakugo’s gauntlets got destroyed by the fingers, but it wasn’t in the anime. Wonder if that will make things different later on?🤔

just found out, it’s seems like the error may have been on Horikoshi’s part because unless he gets equipped with a spare like Mirko did with her prosthetics, the arm we see without a gauntlet has one in a later scene.
This episode was great! The tension, the strategy, the wits, the suprise!! Very well crafted and had me at the edge of the sit. I especially loved the Coffin In Sky. So meticulously build. I love when characters be creative with their powers. This is finest use of power I have seen in media. The sudden spurt of fingers from Shigaraki really scared me bcs I thought Eraser isn't working anymore and everyone inside is screwed now. The shot from Aizawa's pov seeing they vortex of Shigaraki's fingers is most epic and horrifying shot. It's like a snake in chicken cage! Tho I wonder what if they use water as base? Decay can't work on water or sand. Anything that's not soild. Or have him submerged in water. 🤔

With each episode adapting about 3 chapters and there being 21 episodes this season, this would mean season 7 should end just around the time when All for One finally reaches Tomura and Deku
That’s on chapter 401 and perhaps chapter 402-424 from Final War will mostly be on s8 and full episodes of Final War will be 22-23 episodes and when s8 premieres it’ll probably recap everything what happened on s7 and it will be like s6 ep 14 all over again like it only animated chapter 296 but animated 3 pages from chapter 298 except after recapping it’ll probably animated chapter 402-403 on 1st episode that’s my thinking 🤔 and s8 will also cover the epilogue chapters (ch 425-ongoing)

as the manga continues there are chapters that literally have less than 10 pages with a lot of action shots and less recaps. idk how they plan on ending this season but to not finish the war arc would be kind of weird
I really don't understand how Harley gets away with going toe to toe with batman at least here toga masking her presence in the massive chaotic battlefield and being able to bypass danger sense makes sense why toga gets away with it
also the talking during the deku and toga scenes, and I don’t get how when tsu kicked tf outta toga, deku, ururaka and tsu was just having a full on convo while toga was just standing there💀💀

This episode was awesome season 7 is now popping off even more and they nailed the facial expressions with Toga and animation is still looking clean I will admit I enjoyed that scene more than I did when it came out in the manga thanks with the voice acting the music was crazy especially the piece playing when it was Shoto about to fight Dabi and that's my third anticipated fight to get animated and judging by the preview for episode eight it's going to be clean still wish they added Nana in the scene she's my favorite OFA user behind Deku and All Might I would love to see a spin off for her anyways another amazing anime vs manga comparison can't wait for next week it's about to be insane:)

It’s even more jarring seeing Himeko hold her own against Deku in the anime. Deku put down so many Jailbreakers solo. He would’ve also fought Dark Might before this war started who would be vastly more formidable than Himeko. That Danger Sense not working shouldn’t handicap him that much. Dude could’ve easily laid out Himeko but of course he didn’t cuz _thematically_ that’s Ochako’s fight

The same black whip that will later go on to restrain the second strongest person in the series, thus by power scaling rules makes her knife the most powerful thing in the entire series The heroes treating her like this massive threat is also beyond absurd. They don’t know her ability to use other people’s quirks, yet they treat her on the same threat level as Tomura, AfO and Dabi
