I can't help feeling a lot of Toderoki family drama could have been avoided if Engi realized his first two children could just work together instead of trying to selectively breed a fire/ice user

The issue is that would create a co-dependent nature and they'd need to be able to stand on their own. Plus there's no idea how strong Fuyumi's quirk would have been. I'd even say what if Fuyumi never wanted to be a hero?
And he wanted one person tô be the number one hero
@@JamaicaZ160R1793010A they don't have to be co-dependent all the time if they are trained together and Touya learns to control the extent of his flames without burning himself. Shoto can do it himself because of the ice fire thingy but this would become Touya's edge as he would have better fire control than Shoto and could use like endeavour level fire (like his father). He could also use the hotter blue flame but only for a limited time then when they are together, Touya could go all out with his blue flame while Shoto cools him down
@@shina7418 I'd think Endeavor would demonstrate why that's a bad idea. It's not feasible. The control of the flames doesn't matter if his body can't handle it and in the end, what if Shoto didn't want to be a hero or have his quirk combination? It's really like how so many don't care about why Eri being a healer isn't a good idea. In the end, that's a poorly thought out plan that would never work. So many people nowadays are so short-sighted.
Imagine if Touya was rescued by All Might instead of All for One. The two bond over their weaknesses. All Might takes Touya under his wing and helps overcome the burning weakness (somehow). Touya still keeps his identity under the radar until he becomes a #1 hero because of All Might instead of Endeavor.
Imagine the humiliation Endeavor would endure as All Might 1-Ups him not only as a hero but as a paternal figure as well.

Nay, cannon Touya has more in cannon with Tai Lung since Shifu denied him the dragon scroll without a fight + plus that epic scene when his fists caught blue fire

I like that you made the "what ifs" feel believable with your understanding of Horikoshi's characters and writing style, it makes me see this scenario happening within the universe
What if Rei and Endeavor started a hero family similar to the incredibles. 🤔
Rei: hero name- Sub-Zero
Enji: hero name- Endeavor
Natsuo: Hero name- Frostbite
Fuyumi: hero name- Tundra
Toya: Hero name- Kagesutchi
Shoto: Hero name- Freezerburn
Shotos hero name being freezerburn is so goddamn good due to him being a hybrid of hot and cold

Here’s three things I was thinking about while watching this video:
1. This “What If” story is good.
2. The father and son moment of Endeavor and Touya reminds me of Kratos and Atreus from GOW 2018 + Ragnarok.
3. I can see this whole situation in a new non-canon My Hero Academia movie.
Could we have one where toga's Parentes weren't assholes and teached her how to control her urgente and be a hero?

Touya could have been a hero. The support crew could have made him something to survive his quirk, like deku does with his gloves, or his sister could have been trained to be a hero, and have them be a team. They would need to learn to fight alone to pass school, but once they go for their license, they can do it as a team. Just like Kota's parents.
Sadly both endeavor and Touya were so stubborn in their own personal quests

Nice video topic, the idea if a hero Dabi does have its appeal to me, more so for what would need to change for it to happen as if Enji really does think his eldest could accomplish his dream, this would be a world where Natsuo and Shoto don't exist.
However, the Todoroki family drama is even more appealing so I always fancied versions that keep that as intact as possible. That being said, this version of Touya rocks as because he's always been trained to be the best, and to put in 110% all the time to gain that title, it would make sense he would become cocky, more so since he's arguable the real No. 2 hero as Endeavour must have to work extra hard to ensure his son doesn't surpass him just yet.
Thought you would think that maybe he and Hawks are kina frenemies as while both are young, handsome, blessed with powerful quirks and extremely talented and accomplished, they do differ in that Hawks at his core, is lazy and if he could, would spend his days goofing off while Touya, while a showboat is someone that can't sit still when he could be working or training.
Imagine Toya Realizes his father is trying to change himself and he was always worried about Toya. Then Toya joins the hero's :o
I don't think this is going to happen. However, I do feel like touya might have a "Only I can kill them moment." In the manga and end up fighting all for one.
You know Touya could've been a great hero next to todoroki if it wasn't for Endeavor's abuse of how he traumatized he's own family especially his own wife making her end up in a mental hospital after she poured hot boiled water on todoroki's face as a child when she saw his father in him. I still don't know how they're gonna Redeem him the way how things are right now in the manga because they can't just forget all the innocent people and children including police officers and heroes especially little children and babies Touya has killed being a killer arsonist with the league having the blood on his hands too for his own agendas against Endeavor(Which he deserves) but not like what he's been doing since day one where he became Dabi.
I think to this point is that he learns that he was supposed to be the new body for all for one and he decides to try to take him or Shigaraki down by hugging him and starting a fire like when he died if not then he disappears complete be continuing using his wuirk😊

Nah dabi should stay as a villain, not everyone gets a redemption and honesty at this point that dude can't and shouldn't be forgiven. He should either be killed or captured as one

This is really good, you have a great understanding of the characters! There are a few decisions in this that I'm wondering about though.
Wouldn't Touya have taken the Recommendation Exam not the normal Entrance Exam, you know like Shoto does in canon?
Also, just because Touya is a success in this timeline it doesn't mean that Natsuo and Shoto couldn't have still been born. I mean Endeavor would not have actively been trying to create a fire-ice user in this timeline, but things happen and Rei could still have gotten pregnant 2 more times.

None of this would've happened if characters just went to therapy but then there would be no story. Ah well, that's what AUs are for.

You should do Shigaraki! I’m honestly curious on him becoming a hero similarly to his grandma, Nana Shimura. Or, what would happen if Nana Shimura did raise Kotaro/Kotaro did not become an abusive father towards his children because of heroes and never left Shigaraki outside when his quirk manifested and how it could effect the present. I’m just hoping for a more hero direction of his story :)!

Endeavor only had the two of them (and lowkey Fuyumi) for the purpose of getting the perfect quirk user out of it not because he wanted more.
@@VocalPineapple wasn’t his dream for a combo of the quirk not just a stronger fire quirk likely still would’ve tried to have that combo in a kid but would’ve still helped Touya become a hero if he knew he wouldn’t hurt himself.

You know in real life. I look at people similar. Well not fantasy super hero stuff. But realistically what people are potentially capable of if they were interested and invested in another field of work, sport and activity. Like my martial arts teacher had really good organizational ethics. He would have been a good military officer and maybe even spec ops. My brother who is talented could have done anything and possibly be the best at it if he had more will power and more focus and drive to do one thing instead of trying to do many things then quit after he becomes good at it. And myself. I look into other fields of what I could have been if I went that route. My other/ oldest brother had dreams of being in US army Rangers and Spec ops. He had the talent and drive for it and could have been but gave it all up to build a family. What you can get with this anime is something that people have been missing in this current generation. To dream big and go for it. Not talking about current day dreams of idiology and weird fetishes like wanting to be a baby or an animal. More like a Pilot, doctor, police officer, firefighter, artist, Astronaut. Not much of that anymore.
