He was like that during the class 1-A and B battle, was never sure If I liked him or not, but when he tried to use one for all that's when I was like damn, this guy could potentially be REALLY strong, same with Shinso. My hero does a REALLY good job at making "side characters" important and strong.

Monoma deserves some credit for learning how to use both warp and erasure in barely a week.
Nobody talks about how Mirko lost an arm and a leg and nearly died in the last battle and she is still literally gung-ho and going full steam ahead on the most notorious villain in MHA history, that willpower is peak and crazy.
It’s funny how Monoma was worried that he couldn’t be seen as a main character with his quirk when I’m pretty sure that “Copy” is actually used quite a bit for the power of a shounen protagonist. It’s even limited in the same manner… until the writer realizes that those limitations they set aren’t worth it and finds a way around them or throws them out the window.
*It’s thanks to Shinso and Monoma, that the plan began super well! Well, aside from Toga. But I do think the plan to isolate the villains is a good one, especially after how the first war’s plan ended up turning out.*
In season 2 the narrative framed Monoma as weak and sneaky because he designed a plan for all of class B to work together to win the sports festival. Class A opposed that ideology and focused on self improvement, individualism and wanting to stand on their own two feet when it came to hero work/ the festival. Now, both Monoma and class A have grown. Monoma, can’t just rely on others, the task of copying, figuring out and mastering a quirk in 36 hours can only be done by him and him alone. Class A, in order for their plan to work, need to support eachother and make sure they succeed, thus they take on less flashy jobs that are absolutely essential! And it all comes down to Monoma, the ultimate support player, for their plan to work. I just thought that was cool!

Monoma should be one of the powerful student , i hated that the creator didnt use his full potential . Even after this , i still feel the same . Specially with the void crap for not allowing him to copy one for all , when he could use bakugo's quirk which is a result of mixing two quirk together .
You're misunderstanding how Monoma's quirk works and why he couldn't copy One for All perfectly. Monoma copies quirks at the base level, unless the quirk itself has been altered significantly like Warp Gate. Also, if a quirk accumulates and stores energy then while Monoma can still copy the quirk, he can't copy the energy the original has stored, hence why he couldn't copy One for All as it is now.

Take Todoroki for example, even though he can produce fire and ice it's still considered one quirk. As for the quirks inside One for All, Monoma can't copy them because he can only copy the main quirk at its base level, he can't copy anything that quirk has accumulated. Monoma explained this with his example of copying Fat Gum's quirk.

As someone who has been a massive Monoma fan every since he was introduced, this stuff was so PEAK for me. I remember being kinda disappointed that Monoma was introduced as this super calm and super intelligent guy and then very quickly became more like a gag in every instance after his appearance. But then one day Hori made a comment that Monoma and Shinsou would have big moments in the future. So I waited. And this did NOT disappoint. Monoma warps the heroes in, splits the villains up, hops over to Aizawa and then IMMEDIATELY has Shigaraki on lockdown. MVP Monoma for the win. I get it. Everyone is playing their part in this. But like, if Monoma wasn't here, Shigaraki could literally just insta-decay the battlefield and all of this planning wouldn't matter. I'm sure some people will come around to him after this episode. But as someone who's been a fan of his since the beginning, this episode was especially rewarding. He's the star. Now then, that's enough Monoma analysis. Time for the others. Toga snatched Deku and threw a huge wrench in the entire operation. AFO roasting Endeavor for once again looking away from Touya and forcing the burden onto Shoto is definitely something. AFO seemingly was about to use a massive decay wave but Shigaraki seemed to stop him. Reason being, Dabi had already leapt out in front of him. So if AFO decayed everything in front of him, Dabi would've likely been caught in the crossfire. Now, despite AFO clearly being in control at the start of the battle, Shigaraki makes that comment at the end about thinking that he used to think Aizawa was cool but right now he's just a letdown. That obviously isn't AFO. Shigaraki is the only one who's ever thought Erasurehead was cool. As he said in S1 and 6. The line between AFO and Shigaraki has become so blurred that it feels like either one can step into the drivers seat at a moments notice. Despite that, there's still some resistance from Shigaraki's side(as we saw when he stopped the decay wave). Monoma pulled the strings. And now the battles are about to begin.
It makes a lot of sense that Aizawa needs both eyes, otherwise blinking wouldnt have ever been an issue. Like he could wink forever. Guess thats why aizawa doesnt need the water dude. His eye isnt doing anything.... right?
So Aizawa's quirk doest work on heteromorphic (body change) types of quirks so shigaraki could use that with his raw strength to attack Mirko but his decay won't activate with erasure still in effect.
No this isn't a quirk, this is his body adjusting automatically to threats, he was build as the ultimate human, and his body adapting to threats is a direct result of his body being build to withstand multiple powerful quirks at once. But it's not actually a quirk.
Shigaraki's appears to crush Mirko with his mutated fingers. Sam-I don't accept that. I don't accept that! There is no way!! 😂😂😅😅I can't blame her at all. Mirko is boss babe. I would hate for her to go out like that. Especially after we already lost a few badas ladies.
I wasn't expecting Bones to add stuff much less add an action scene that smooth for Shigaraki. The parkour stuff with Jeanist's fiber rope vs Shigaraki wasn't in the manga. The enitre dialogue was in 1 page of Shigaraki falling. Bones (MHA team) has very bad schedule. Thats the same team that makes movies with some of the best looking animation in the industry also cuts a lot in the anime. Hopefully the lower episode count gave them more time. Although I doubt the big animators would be doing a lot for this season since the movie is in making. Shoto vs Dabi getting massive promo so fingers crossed Nakamura in action maybe ?
No it wasn't a quirk, it was just his Nomu engineering body that mutated to grow hands like how hair and nails grow but just on a massive scale. Plus even if it was a quirk it would have been stopped by Erasure since it needed to be activated to start, the only exception to Erasure is permanent Mutation quirks that are always on like e.g. Shoji, Hagakure etc...
He did use a mutation and they explain it in the next episode. So we weren't gonna spoil it, but seeing as you already did. It's kind of the evolution of quirks. So that it's not a quirk anymore but a part of their bodies. Something that they've been hinting at from the start would happen.
It's related to the Doomsday theory in their universe. There's a point where quirks will become too strong for normal human bodies, forcing evolution and making humans start to mutate extra limbs and chaging their bodies so they can withstand the quirk. In this case, Shigaraki has achieved that evolving state now bring able to changebhis body to his will just to be able to withstand his enormous power. But since it isn't a quirk and it's just his actual body evolving, Aizawa can't erase it with his quirk. Also, Aizawa can affect heteromorphs and mutants, but not erase their appearance. For example, if he used his quirk kn Tokoyami, he would be able erase Dark Shadow but Tokoyami would still look like a bird. Hope this helps
