I was born in that village, Ponta Delgada. But i live in Guernsey for 10 years now. Quite chocked to learn that this house was abandoned for a longe time. It was such a beautifull house before. Can not wait to go back and see it back to life

My advice when you find a good tradesmen was example a builder or a gardener try to keep the same one when you need to use them again . That what I did since I start living in my house in Sintra centre in 29 July 2019 I been using the same builder since then . It is difficult to find a builder that is honest and does a excellent work and my does that. I hope that everything goes well with the house .

That's rather arrogant, MAGA or just trying to be funny at the expense to others? Being Swiss would answer the question, but not the claim.
We are in a new country and our feeling is it is us who needs to learn Portuguese. We must invite our builders back in a year when we will be able to speak to them in Portuguese!
Your arrogance makes me vomit, they are in their land, the one who should learn Portuguese is the visitor or the foreigner who moves to the island as simple as that, it is not their duty to learn English, I hope it is clear to you

And even though your workers do not speak English, I know you can still communicate with them with the common sign language and the likes.
