I’ve been playing with it for a few months and for me it’s shipbuilding and adjacent to any holy site but I’ve heard of other people unlocking it at sailing, theology, etc

I prefer high gold trade routes with Portugal, then I can just buy the granaries and monuments. total resource equivalencies per turn is higher with the gold (plus the gold is not held to just one city, but could be sent out to the entire empire).
idk if potato fixes this later on in the series, but if any of you are playing these mods and get the city state issue, here's how to fix: disable any city state UI mods you have (don't disable gameplay city state mods of course).

Yes the +2f for growth isn't calculated, but the fish tiles make up for it here.

If anyone is trying to play this modpack and it's crashing disable The Hero Sume, he breaks Heroes and legends Mode. otherwise you can't play with the mode so the mod is pointless because he's a hero.
Unfortunately Civ 6 does not have robust mod manager even with the mod manager mod as Paradox games. I would suggest triple checking your mods to see if there is ANY overlap on mods that affect city states and/or city state ui. Even if you have to go to the actual mod page. I wouldn’t be surprised if the city states mod that adds the extra city state types is conflicting with sukritact’s UI or maybe the mod that adds the pirate governors. lol u got it nvm
the City States UI mod is not compatible with CIVITAS City States Expanded. It says so in the UI mod's description and Civ does allow for automated warnings ingame as well which prevent them from being active together, but that only works if the author flagged that correctly.
18:30 did you not look at the promotion for your apostle? I thought if you can give them more than 3 charges, you can spend those extra charges before evangelizing/starting and inquisition
@@axelhstrand3121 that is simply not true. You cant evangelize if you go below three charges. If the promotion gives you more charges you can use those until three left and then evangelize
Bruh. If you're trading with the capital you should get your gov plaza down and Magnus in with surplus logistics. That's 3 food and a production to each city. Love that setup.
It is devastating to see when players, especially so experienced, decide to go mass settling w/o building goverment plaza with ancestral hall. So many free builders wasted, so sad.
I don't really like games that use mods as much, particularly ones that make things more productive because it cheapens the success by using them to me. I'm not really a fan of Civ 6 either and wish you'd do more Civ 5, but I know that's unlikely so holding out for 7 Alpha and hoping it goes back to the kind of Civ that I enjoyed. Potato is the only reason I watch these at all but the Save my game videos are my favorite.
If you have no bonuses from religion (like +science per follower) and you aren't going for a religious victory, why would you care about passive religious spread?
I love watching your videos but it is hard to watch when u have multiple videos in a series. What I mean is, the You Tube algorithm will auto feed any video with a title with number at the end. For instance the is Portugal ep 2. Do this and it will ensure your videos get more views, due to ease of access to videos in a series. IDK if this made any sense.

The reason it doesn't work its because of the UI mod for city states, if u remove it it goes back to normal
