once as a meme while playing Portugal I settled an arctic city with fishing boats and nothing else. bought all of the territory i needed, forced growth, placed all of the districts I wanted, then just gave the city to an ally AI. Got me some great trade routes
You've inspired me to play with these Maritime mods, and I'm enjoying a slow game with Elizabeth I using most of JNR's, most of Urban Complexity, and some of the Maritime mod collection (Gold game is good)
How did you get this modpack to work. I have the modpack subscribed as well as all of potato's UI mods and every time I load into a freshly created game it says mods failed to load. For reference can start quick games no problem
Just a question on the mod: when you have the Phantom Flagship with the upgrade that all adjacent ships get all his upgrades, shouldn't he be leading a fleet around? I'd love to see a series with this mod focusing on surrounding the Phantom Flagship with a fleet surrounding it, terrorizing the seas!

So, since the first episode of this series got me to try the modpack, I hadn't disabled the Urban Complexity mods from the recent Sumeria series, so if you thought you had trade routes before... :^)
I just tried the mod pack and it your going full naval i find it better to go food light house and trade wharf. That way instead of a merchant point it would be an Explorer point. Loved this series so much its inspired Civ 6 for me
The game went on sale in Steam last week and I bought it just because of Mr. Potato 's series. Finished a CK3 playthrough and then I'm going to dig in.
Decided to watch this series to alleviate the itch to install Civ on the new laptop... so that I wouldn't be up til 3am playing one more turn... this may be having the opposite effect. Any plans for more Terra Invicta BTW?
If anyone is trying to play this modpack and it's crashing disable The Hero Sume, he breaks Heroes and legends Mode. otherwise you can't play with the mode so the mod is pointless because he's a hero.

I uh.. cherry picked the mods I wanted instead of using literally everything.
I'm no mod expert sadly so I can't really help you
