I completely forgotten that Dell came up, a while ago. I still have my cell netbook with linux mint from like 7 years ago I still use regularly to type and I been using my android tablet for everything but downside is alot of websites dont run right if I use my tablet

Got a Dell Latitude 5490 as a Christmas present, just replaced the 256GB SATA SSD (which is in the Nvme slot) with a 1TB 970 EVO.
you take out the m.2 and then you can put a ssd in place of the m.2 small connection that connects to the hard-drive that plugs into the Dell that you can get online or through a Dell dealer
Nice overview of the internals. After looking really carefully at a number of Macbooks and their hardware, I can confidently say that I'm not going to buy one. The maintainability and service of the Dell machines is excellent and I will be using them for this reason.

I never understood the touchscreen-function on a normal laptop...
Is it good to buy this laptop these days? I'm planning to buy one but the spacebar key seems to make me fee skeptical. Hows it running for you? Kindly do reply.
How is the sound quality? got my new 5490 and a little bit static buzz noice from the speakers when the volume is over "50". Do you have the same problem?
Pretty sure if you remove the M2 hard drive, you can install a different form factor HDD
