I wanted to upgrade RAM for my friend, that has this laptop, and I wanted to know how it looks inside and also how laptop performs in general! Really thanks for the review!
I found this video through google and I ran here to subscribed. The explaination was just simple with a good benchmarking. Thanks, I was going to get one soon
@@aminezougagh Yep! it's what I'm using for work currently. It was a perfect choice to be honest, I even play video games on it sometimes with no sign of lag
Owner of E5570 here. I bought mine used from 2020 and as per your conclusion, it's not special but it can do a lot. I worked as a video editor in the past and with 16GB of RAM, this machine can still do a good job with Premiere Pro. The i5-6440HQ is still surprisingly decent even after 6 years. It starts to chug on Windows 11 but I'm trying to do Hackintosh on this machine and I must say that MacOS really give this machine a new breath of life. It feels like I'm using a brand new laptop after reinstalling it to Mac. While replacing parts like storage, RAM, and battery is easy, you need extra effort to replace the thermal paste and clean the heatsink and fan because you need to take off the chassis skeleton first. It's not hard, but it might not be as straighforward as some laptops. The higher end E5570 models (with i7-6820HQ and AMD discrete graphics) has Thunderbolt 3 option too, so it can be used as a gaming machine. Overall I love this machine. Considered to sell it but I think this will be one solid laptop for its price.
I would suggest upgrading the WiFi card to AX, screen to 1080p, and the battery to 84wh. The E5570 with those upgrades allows it to really be a great travel and office productivity laptop which is what I basically use it for. Oh, and 32gigs of RAM is cheap now, too. The E5570 seems to perform pretty good with 32gigs of RAM vs. 16gigs of RAM.
Great job! But i was to know this; I have ran diagnostic test ( on e5770) and everything appears to be okay but at times it just goes off while using it and also fails to turn on after pressing the power button 🙏
Greetings. I need some help. I have the same machine but with i7-6820hq and 0gb R7 M370 i bought it from 2nd hand used market. It was working fine and I undervot it using Throttle stop after sometimes I Installed the Windows 10 pro again and have to do all the drivers and there was BIOS Version needs to be updated and I updated it and now it have 1.34.3 Bios . Now i am facing the problem That FVIR IN throttle stop is locked and I am Unable to change the Voltages and hence couldn't undervolt it as it operates CPU at 99 degree C and gpu too at 85 degree C while gaming. Can you Install throttle stop 9.6 and check whether you can Use FVIR option and can undervolt it .????.
If the light is completely dead and you cannot use the brightness buttons on the keyboard or the control in Windows/software, then I'm afraid your backlight might be broken or one of the fuses might be blown related to the backlight. I've seen similar in Lenovo laptops before.
I am looking to buy a reasonably priced laptop and this looked good can I use this for music production and video production would this be a good laptop for those? Thank you
For music production I think this would be sufficient. For video editing, I would look for something with a more powerful graphical card. With this device I think you will barely be able to edit 1080p unfortunately.
Hard for me to tell. No idea which software you would use for that. Also depends if you need a powerful GPU (for rendering for example) or just do 2D drawing.
Made some videos on that subject as well here: - Upgrade Windows 11 22H2 from Windows 10: ruclips.net/video/GI2B5H2tYLs/видео.html - Fresh install of Windows 11: ruclips.net/video/iPc4Tmhv-1o/видео.html

For gaming the lack of a dedicated GPU will most likely be your bottleneck. Most newer games will not work or will not be performing well. You better look for something with a dedicated GPU if you want gaming.
I own an almost top of the line version with the I7-6820HQ and R7 M370. It lacks the thunderbolt 3 port. It runs pretty hot but it is good for light gaming such as Roblox, Minecraft, Valorant, etc. It has 8gbs of dual channel 2133mhz ram, thinking of getting atleast 16gb dual channel maybe 32gb. One thing I am curious about is if I could install a 2242 SATA SSD into the WWAN slot. Maybe you can make a video on that.
Guess that depends a bit of the type of work that will be done. I don't know enough about the tools and requirements used for that to give you a proper answer. For 3D rendering for example, the specs will be on the low side.
They are just the mouse buttons for when you use the pointstick thing. They have the same functionality as the regular mouse buttons below the touchpad. See ruclips.net/video/829gfmDUTIo/видео.html

Good
Many thanks for this video. I'm interested in a E5570 with i7 processor, do you think it would be good in 2023 running Windows 11?
Depends a bit on what you plan to do with it. For regular office/browsing/watching movies, its definitely not a punishment to work with.
