I understand it is the worst airport to come through because of it is too small to handle for international standard. Inordinate delays starting from landing to exit. People prefer either Bangalore or Hyderabd for entry and then take local fligjt to chennai. High time chennai had a new international airport otherwise we loose millions of footfalls. FYKI, Hyderabad and Bangalore both do NOT have international airports. The nearby villages of Shamshabad and Devanahalli have International airports that these two cities use respectively.
