guys, I worked as an intern at L&T for this runway (I'm a Civil Engineer!). Everything is good, but I can say somethings disappointed me very much... LABOURERS. Indian govt spent so many crores to empower Nepali labours! Why the fuck man?!! They could have bought atleast North INDIAN Labours, majority of the labours over there wer Nepalis!!! They sent much of their earnings back to Nepal. It's like as if we didn't had unemployed youths!! Not just here, even in case Ram Mandir construction in Ayodhya, many of the workers were foreigners (Nepalis)
@@shrinivaspandurangi4it's simple everything is business centric Nepali s need less salary they get more for conversion in Nepal here Indians need Indian rupee itself ... getting it done with less cost is called business so Indians will get no jobs they can go outside as expatriates and work for less salary compared to their own citizen like people of India working in Middle East
Earlier Nat Geo used to showcase infrastructures of other countries, now they are showing Indian Infrastructures which is taking the world by surprise. Nice to see this change as an Indian

@@shrinivaspandurangi4 It is similar to, the way the tech worker migrate to US and send money to India. It is universal. The American laborers are costly when compared to Indians. Indian laborers are costly when compared to Nepali's. Once the Nepal GDP grows, they will become costly too. By the time Laborers become costly, we would have automation and machines to build the building when compared to humans. We have to go with the flow.

I've been to many airports, but Kempegowda is unique in every way possible. It is not just an airport, it enriches your soul.
We can see how beautiful minds India have.✅✅
All expertise are from SOM USA, bamboo from MOSO China, and labourers are from nepal, only India construction team involved is L&T for machines and equipment..

Couldn't be more proud as India represents itself at the World's most beautiful Airport and Educational Institution categories by Prix Versailles with Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru, and School of Planning & Architecture, Vijayawada. It makes me happy to see South India receiving its second airport with parallel runway system after Hyderabad's Rajiv Gandhi International Airport.

Been to this terminal numerous times ever since it opened and it has been an experience in itself. Every time i visit this terminal i am in awe of it. The golden vibe it has got, the gardens its just awesome. You would really want to keep exploring this terminal more than taking the flight lol.

Just a week ago, I was at the T2 of Bengaluru airport. When I entered terminal, my jaw just dropped. I was that awestruck!!!

I have been to this terminal in 2023 . You can see hanging trees and plants🌲 when you look up the ceiling which is decorated with bamboo wood and there are lot of sitting areas around the trees which is placed inside the airport

@@oxy2986This airport doesn't come under Central Government. AAI is having just 13% stake. Since it's Greenfield Airport, still KA government is owner of KIA and owns land unlike other AAI airports. Fairfax is major shareholder.

Bengaluru T2 is a brilliantly designed airport no doubt. I have seen it being built from scratch. However one tiny bit of a complaint I have in T2 is that need some fast food chains in case someone is hungry and in a hurry as well. Though I am sure this will come up soon and in another 3 years time its gonna be one of world's beautifully designed airports

funny thing is... i'm about to fly out of this airport in a few days! it'll be my first time~ i'm quite excited honestly, i've seen so many short reels on it and it really seems to be beautiful.
All the awestruck emotions of passengers are soon going to fade away once they get out of the airport area and come under BBMPs jurisdictions. What roads, what beautiful pedistrians, what a view. Its like they landed in a bangalore airport and then got teleported to somewhere else

Bangaluru airport is very well run airport.. Only problem is reaching the airport.. The hebbal traffic block always gave me scares.. Successive governments gave no thought to solving this problem.. Land owner and Chairman of KIA is Karnataka Govt.. and biggest promoter and management is Fairfax with 54% and KIADB which is Karnataka Govt is having 13% share. Bangalore Airport and the team behind it are great. But the transportation support from the local government and the city corporation is so poor, they some how discourage efficient running of trains from the city to the airport. Currently airport trains are for name sake, and not connected to all the major parts of the city .

It has received several international awards beating international airports. An225 world's largest aircraft landed here 7 years ago. Where was your state airport at that time? Nobody is ready to accept labour jobs in India north or south doesn't matter. There are many schemes to lift people up that they choose not to do manual labour anymore. In coming years we are going to face a lot of cost surge in construction due to this.
