For all the guys comparing bangalore and chennai airport please keep in mind that a comparison cannot be made between a private owned and a public airport. It would make sense if chennai completes its private second airport at parandur. Even with this space crunch chennai handles the highest international passengers today in south india. Moreover Bangalore is recieving more international carriers due to the airoort expansion work in chennai which is not able to accomodate more no of wide bodied planes like A350 ER or the Boeing 777 at same time since the aerobridges have reduced due to construction activity on apron side. Chennai airport is still fully owned by AAI. Whereas bangalore . Hyd. Delhi and mumbai are private. So the private airports rank higher obviously.
Chennai's look and feel feels similar to Delhi. and of Kolkata similar to Mumbai...Hope Chennai and Kolkata catch up with the past glory and be true to their Grand Names Delhi,Bombay,Madras,Calcutta 🔥🔥🔥

Hardly any car on the roads in Madras. Every time I drive to Madras from Bangalore this is what strikes me. There is an ocean of cars in Bangalore. That is the fundamental reason for the congestion here. The public transport is good--I travel by the metro and bus every day. Have never felt any problem. People keep complaining about it but do not mind driving at 10 KMs/hour with just one person in each car.
Appreciating your appreciation but India isn't rich If you earn 300$ here you are in the top 10% of the income streaming population, I have also felt the same when it comes to tuk tuk & old trucks but the per capita income is 3k$ & it was 300$ 10 yrs ago the government invests huge amounts in just millitary' as we have 2 nucleic powers around us India is growing at almost 9% which is high & fast for such a huge nation.. It just takes some time you'll see us completely developed by the next 20 yeras thx..
For you american it is easy to travel with the big car on the elevated large width of the roads,but, for us indians ,where we travel with the least width of the roads and with the average wa of the salary of the vast population 2 wheeler bikes, auto rickshaws are necessary vehicles for our daily transportation with the minimum spending,only I can accept your complaint with the " HORNS", I don't know why our people are enjoying so much with this nuisance horns.
