That's exactly the problem with horizontal development that's happening in TN.... Chennai being the 4th biggest metropolitan city in India and 33rd largest city in the world requires more concentration from the government.... But govt is not ready to focus the city!
The 2nd problem is it's people ( yes I'm including myself), ppl dosen't have enough civic sense here.... They litter the city upto the core as if like it's someone's property and not their own.... 3/4th People of Chennai would never claim the place to be their own 😢

Pasting of political and commercial posters on the road side walls and road medians must be prohibited . This gives a very unclean and shabby look to the city.

Roads are very dusty. And the city looks outdated. Modernize a bit. But cleanliness is missing for sure and people look poor. So income levels need to go up.
