This happens quite often in Chennai Airport when there is rush and flights hover around fly across to beach side and do a U turn back. At night it is even more bright the Chennai lights.
It happened to me couple of months ago. Was flying from Delhi to chennai. Flight went to the ocean side. It was so scary . I thought my airindia flight gonna crash into the ocean LoL
@@ms-tv4zothere are flights which fly hours together over great oceans. Nothing in our hand. When you fly from Kolkata to Chennai, most of the time the aircraft is over the sea.
Wow! Such pristine clarity makes the whole view look so pleasant & desirable. For the first time, learned about the spoilers to slow down the plane & the alignment for landing. How beautiful was the whole turn around scene over the ocean to align the flight towards the runway, coupled with patient pilots, smooth landing, calm movement of the aircraft, all thoroughly clean flights of different airlines in line & the tail of Akasa reflecting on the glass of the building. All in all, it was epic! 💯
i had a same experience while approaching bangalore in akasa air where we didnt go around bangalore though but did a u turn before bangalore approached.. those type of landings are quite amazing not gonna lie... this is also such a good quality landing!
Wow, it's really amazing bro.......usually, I'm landing around 12 AM to 3.30 AM (Paris to Chennai with AF, LH, QR, EK, EY,) at Chennai Airport so I did not get this view in a daytime....I had this view in my life only 2 times in a day time.....1. BOM-MAA with Jet Airways in 2013, 2. MCT-MAA with Oman Air in 2017. Amazing approach what a smooth break after the touchdown !!! thanks for sharing bro :)
Yes indeed Nithi. It’s a beautiful view we get of Chennai when it’s runway 25 approach, especially when the weather is also great. Thank you for watching😀🙌🏻
landing into Chennai is AMAZING and the person took the video did an excellent job especially the part when you saw all airplane parked at the gates you even know the flight number and the plane arrived from. very well done my friend. The pilot are probably the best as well. keep up the good work
Thank you😃 Was hoping the weather would support the downwind view and I’m glad it did😅 Plus, as always nothing sweeter than flying into Chennai using 025✈️
@@aerowanderer Yes, of course. I wonder how good the 30 approach look like ? Also from over the sea, with the IIT, Rajbhavan .. now to the right, I guess!
Thanks to your video i was able to find what my house looks like from the air. I've never landed after this particular downwind leg approach. Thank you!
this definitely a flight simulator, lot of people missed this because of the ultra realism. but i can tell you even high end canon, sony or nikon camera cannot shoot this aperture with such high details, this looks like f/14 and above because everything is in focus and clear from wings to trees to clouds at such distance also shaders look computer generated .and waves didnt move which gives it off. but the creator did an amazing job i cant tell how he added real people in.
It may not be a flight simulator, because a lot of aerial detailing is actually true(which is very hard in simulation). But I think it is an actual footage converted into a flight simulation sort of video with improvements(like an animation). For sure this is not the actual footage.
hi, i have not seen such ultra quality in any of the flight videos. can you please let me know the camera gear you used to shoot this video. this video is like 10 star quality.
Hello bro, I just want to know from curiosity, is it allowed for a passenger to video the moment of take off/landing since so many airlines tell us to turn off our mobile phone/electronic devices during that moment for some scientific reasons & risks
@@vinithradhakrishnan8969 I know about the matter of using Airplane Mode. Still it isn’t allowed to record the moment of take off/landing according to the strict rules of many Airlines. There are many articles & online copies of their regulations on Google regarding this. That’s why I'm curious.
@@promesharin8172 In my experience, filming take off, approach or landing has never been a problem. I remember many years ago, airlines would ask us to switch off cellphones during take off and landing but now they don't care as long as it's in fight mode.
I've landed on Runway 07 once. Took me a while to figure out we were on approach to 07 instead of the usual 25. The other runway apart from 07/25, is it used for General Aviation, private planes and the like?
Runway 07 is at the Pallavaram end. Runway 25 is at the Guindy end. This is the primary runway used for all aircraft. The other runway 12 and 30 is known as the secondary runway which is used when the main runway is under maintenance. This secondary runway is used only by narrow body aircraft.
@@aerowanderer Yes, but in all these years of flying to and from Chennai, only once did a plane land on 07 instead of 25. So in a way, it felt special lol! I used to think 07 would be used during early mornings but it seems only 25 is used for any time of day.
@@aerowandererRunway 07 is used during the times close to sunset and during sunset and night time. I have seen many times. Runway 07 is used from evening 5:30 PM onwards(which is close to sunset) and till Sunrise. Runway 25 is used during day and noon times and Runway 07 is used during dark times like Sunset and Night.

my question as well
I think, spoilers doesn't slow down the descent, they slow down the airspeed, thus increasing the rate of descent... please correct me if I'm wrong.
