Dude! I’ve been looking for this cut for years. I have a similar head shape and hair type to Gosling in this movie. But every time I go to the barber they always use clippers and make me look too clean, like a peaky blinders character. I get you can’t get the cut spot on, but I feel like barbers really struggle not using clippers on the back and sides anymore. Anyways, time to grow out the fro again and give it another shot. I’m subbing just for this video alone.
Dude you're just like, really great. Typically when I'm on RUclips I'm watching philosophy or crap about movie theories or neuroscience or childhood trauma, and that is all of the people I have watched, I have to say I think you are my favorite person on RUclips. I have been asking hairstylists for so long why My bangs flip after they cut them and they always tell me without fail that it's because of the way that I brush them. I was able to get it right when I cut my own bangs last time, they didn't do the flippy thingy but I didn't know what I did. Now I do. Thank you.
Thanks for the kind words! Glad my videos helped you out! Sometimes I don’t know why I even post, other than that it’s just kinda fun for me to record these things, so the positive feedback is greatly appreciated
I also wanted to add: the whole reason I found your channel was because I've been having a really hard time lately and I wanted to distract myself. Your video about depression was important for me. I wrote it down in my journal. So it's not just the haircut stuff thanks for being cool.
@@andrewdoeshair I know the feeling, I'm active elsewhere and it's nice every now and again to know I'm helping people out in my own stupid little ways. I hope you saw my second comment, my reply to my original.
Norman Reedus in any show or movie would be way cool. Seeing more round shapes rather than the classic square in men’s hairstyles would be fun to learn more about! Thanks Andrew
so i'm starting to try and cut my own hair as of this time. because i LOVE jagged imperfect haircuts and my hairdresser/barber cant get it to how i imagen it. now this video helped me to see how i can cut it myself using the comb and siccor + razor. curious how fucked up cool it will look, the more i do it, the better i'll become haha !
Great video dude! I would love to see your take on Ryan gosling in blade runner, the Gallagher brothers OR a video where you cut your dream haircut for yourself on a doll. We all wish we could have ourselves in the chair and cut ourselves. -thynikkle59
Great video dude. Don't suppose you could do one for his haircut in Drive (2011) could you? I absolutely love that style but there's no good guides on it.
Great tutorial from one of my favourite movies of all time with such a classic sense of fashion, hair, and even music to the entire film. Thank you for making this and posting it on here. Just curious about one thing, are the shears you're using 7" in here?
my hair looks naturally like that, wtf, looks awesome, but my hair was become a dark blondie, now i have 21 and since my 19 he could be a litle dark, what is the color number of that blondie, can you help me
@@soraxmi yeah it should look great on wavy hair. If you want it straight just blow dry it and pull out the curl with a brush for a while, like usually a little longer then you probably may think you’ll need to.

Like you said, it's basically a male pixie cut. Nice job.

I like the tattoo
Hey Andrew what’s your take on shampoo/conditioner? Does the quality of shampoo matter?

Mine too! Top 5 of all time. As well as Drive. Do you like that one?
His new one Fall Guy is really good too

@@andrewdoeshair thank you! I just got a haircut so it’ll probably be a minute but I’m looking forward to it.

@andrewdoeshair what's your best guess on a clipper # for sides/back?
I’m not the guy to ask about that, sorry. Largest guard I own is a number 1, anything longer and I use scissors or clipper over comb 😕
Thanks for the reply! I'm going to attempt this on myself🤞
Very cool 👏👏👏
Nice 🙂👍🏻
Yessssssssss
Sheesh 🔥😬
