- My first video of this type so please be gentle with me. I'll work much harder on the audio for Episode 2 (sounded fine in my headphones). Also there will be trackside rider interviews.
The Dawn to Dusk Enduro is being held on August Bank Holiday Weekend

Excellent video! "Never give up" sums up a lot of the reason why we ride and do challenging things on bikes. Competitive riding is so charicter building and the memories from these type of events stay with us forever. Looking very much forward to part 2! Great job!
thank you, i'm really glad you liked it, i'm definitely going to try my best to make the rest of the series worth watching :-)
Dan, thank you for bringing us along on the experience. I love the way you presented it. Very entertaining. We will be cheering for you again.
Thanks a lot Wilks, that means a lot coming from you. Next one will be up soon, just got some final snips of footage to capture and edit in :-)
we really didn't know what we had got ourselves in to, i'm glad you like the ways it's edited together, i was worried how it would come across, this is a long term project so episode two will be up probably late may or early june, thank you for watching, i'm glad you liked it :-)
Wish we had a Desert Rose equivalent here! Keep up the great work, Dan! :)
Brilliant Dan. Looks like something I would watch on TV if I watched TV.
thanks man, that's kinda what i was going for, you can't ignore your inspiration
Definitely be watching for the rest of this series to hit my inbox!!! Well done!!!
Very well done, Dan!!!! Cant wait until the next episode!!
thanks mate, audio should be much better in part two, more than welcome to come down, i aim to be much more competitive this time though and plan to take it more seriously, so will probably only be seen in the bar on the sunday night :-)
Excellent video. I can't wait for the next one.
thanks fella :-) they have some nasty stuff at the training ground so hopefully should get us all ready for the big event
This is going to be an awesome series mate, can't wait to see more. Hope to be there for D2D too!
be cool to see you there again, hopefully this year we'll be celebrating a decent finish in the beer tent on the sunday night :-)
thanks mate :-) i changed all the colours at the last minute as there were sunny days and rainy days amongst the footage and it al looked kind of wrong, i selected all and tried a few effects, bleach bypass seemed to work the best so i stuck with it, glad you liked it, plenty of falls to come :-)
That was great! Looking forward to the next one!
Very nice Dan. I too am waiting for the rest :)
yeah i wasn't sure about doing that with the colour, but without it there was just too much color if that makes any sense, glad you liked it :-) feel free to join us whenever you want
yeah it is great fun, would recommend it to anyone
Good one, love to see the rest.
thanks :-) am looking forward to editing it together
As always "super video" well done ...
a greeting
Medel
Nicely done. Appreciate you posting it.
oooh! Can't wait episode 2!... and... errrmm... we'd better start fitness training again :o
that's a really nice thing to say, thank you :-)
Nice work Dan keep them coming .
we have to ! i need a fitness training montage for episode two ;-) x
we cover this in the second episode, as we run through the riding history of all five riders, but for me the answer is really just a year, i got on a motorcycle for the very first time in 2008
Nice Dano! I'm diggin' it!
Thanks Steve, i really had to step out of my comfort zone with the voice over, i'm hoping it will become easier and my voice will loosen up as we go along, the next videos will be easier as there will be dialogue from the other riders telling the story also, so should make it more interesting :-)
Ooo i feel honoured :-)
i really do need to stop throwing it around and stay on it, supposed to be an enduro not a ktm rodeo, thanks man i'm glad you liked it :-)
Brilliant editing :-) Very Road to Dakar-ish.
That lot looked pretty brutal dan, propa solid effort mate :-)
well as per my tweet, hopefully see you there and hopefully we'll both finish it, remember your helmet lights :-)
thanks man, your comment means a lot, i'm going to try and make it worth watching (which means putting effort in, not usually my thing) so the episodes could be very slow coming out, can't imagine much quicker than one per month / maybe three weeks
Thanks Heather :-) I hope to do much better this time round
thanks, i'm going to try my best to make this something worth watching, so the episodes could be slow coming out :-)
won't be long, am glad you liked it :-)
Very well done!
awsome! cant wait for ep 2 :)
great video dan. will see you at the d-d i will offer support with beer in hand as you set off on the 24 hour.
Awesome stuff man! Can't wait for more :)
That was really well put together mate. You guys want your cheerleaders there again? I still think you did pretty good then for a first time!
Mate I think you have excelled in learning how to throw a dirt bike!! Now we have to work on getting you to stay on a bit longer. :D Good job on the vid, Britex approved :D
Loved it!!
holly crap that looks hard has hell!
i cant believe you guys tryed that stuff with no training at all! that takes guts! =D
nice video.. really cool! i'm liking the new "story mode" thing you got going on there! :D
ok then... show us chapter 2..
Great Job!
i was meant to do dawn till dusk in 2009 but i managed to snap my femur in 2 a couple of months prior! gonna have to do it soon!
Thank you :-)
Cheers man :-)
Looks like so much fun Dan, can a visiting Yankee participate? =)
Thanks, it will be up shortly :-)
thanks man, hope you manage to sleep tonight :-)
Jeez mate, that looked like hard work!
Thought this off roading was meant to be fun ;-)
thank you :-)
did you give it up then, it is a lot of fun, maybe you should take it up again :-)
Thanks :-) I was very unsure of competitive riding at first having started offroading via trail riding. There certainly isn't as much humour at enduro's but i still find it enjoyable. Most of all i like being put in the situation where i have to try to compete and test myself a little. Unfortunately when you get to 38 you feel you have to prove something to yourself ;-)
thanks man :-)
Excellent
maybe you should start one :-) and thanks!
very well done sir! brill vid, from colour grading to montage, I knew you had it in you! Feel free to ask me to join you anytime ;)
yeah i just invested in a pro-mic for episode two, have done a short test and it is miles better, second episode shall be up soon :-)
ill be up for a interview!
I'll be up for being a cheerleader, get loads of us this time! Will be huge motivation for the guys! :D ps least I wont lose my keys with your key finder alarm lol and will bring sufficient memory cards ;)
i can arrange it with desert rose if you are serious :-) they'll supply everything so you are ready to race, it is a lot of fun, see you in august then :-D
Dan, how long had you been green laning before your first enduro? Cant wait for the second ep btw :)
and i've not got round to making any of the other episodes yet, have started 2 and 3, just not finished them, i'm rubbish...
