      @@modelchili The thing about 40K is that you take a relatively sane scifi thing and crank that to 11, then you crank that to 1q and you start to approach 40K. The backpack on the marines is actually a nuclear reactor and all that fun stuff.

      @@jaanikaapa6925 And none of it makes any sort of sense from a design perspective but thats 40k. Bolter mags are supposed to hold 30 rounds but the barrel is wider than the magazine, Leman russ barrels are hilariously short for 120mm, land raider tracks are a terrible design, trench warfare, no air superiority etc.

      @@TenebrusI07 Part of the problem is also the different levels of tech. At one point the humans were like, on par or superior to the eldar as far as tech goes and there are bits and pieces of that borderline magic level of tech sprinkled throughout the universe. Some things that look basic as fuck are hilariballz advanced tech. and some things that look fairly advanced are actually surpassed by the tech we have right now... Total glorious shitshow, that's 40K.

    Amazing little kit! Nice clean build too. I would expect a red oxide under the broken of skirt, no? I think that even zimmerit was was applied before the camo, so any broken off patch uncovered red color, supposedly. So I would expect any "factory part" to be bolted on after red oxide and before camo

    Warhammer 40K is actually 32mm. It was originally 28mm back in the eighties, very early nineties. Then it went to 30mm and then 32mm. The Primaris and some of the new models like death guard are now closer to 40mm.

    • @matthiuskoenig3378
      @matthiuskoenig3378 2 года назад +1

      you forget primaris are supposed to be 8 and a half (8' 6") to 9 ft tall, the models are ~44.5mm tall (intercessors) which makes them 8ft 1inch tall in 1/56 scale. to get to primaris lore size you need to have it at scale 1/60 (to get 8ft 7") which is halfway between 25mm (1/64) and 28mm (1/56). (1/64 gives a height of 9ft 3").
      so no primaries are actually *smaller* than 28mm, and even if they were regular marines rather than taller marines they would still be 28mm scale not 40mm scale (1/48). for a primaris to be 40mm scale it would need to be ~54mm tall.

    • @jusztinnemeti6380
      @jusztinnemeti6380 2 года назад

      @@matthiuskoenig3378 according to GW their scale is 32mm. If you look at any 3rd party miniature companies that produce models intended to be used along side GW's models they are also marketed as 32mm. Also, when measuring miniature size you measure from the bottom of the feet to eye level. Not feet to top of head.

      Actually the Panzers were not white on the inside the germans used RAL1001 elfenbein (ivory) but it is not white or off-white as we know it but more like a very light sand colour. Transmission and related parts were painted feldgrau a grey colour if I remember correctly.
      Late in the var the whole interior was painted in red primer. But the crews complained that it was too dark and depressing and they went back to elfenbein. At least for what was above the sponsons below it was still red primer. But I guess that all combinations existed on the battlefield.

I had the window open and I wasnt wearing a mask I opened the cap, and the odor was horrible. I immediately closed the cap, but now Im worried about the neurological side effects of that. So knowing u r in the hobby how bad is using that types of cements? Also why are those cements that are hazard and unhelathy being sold to teenagers? like WTF.
