My butter, sugar and eggs mixture curdled but I added a little flour while beating and it fixed the problem. Then I added the rest. The amount for this recipe needs to be tripled for a 9 by 5 loaf pan. I didn't do that and it was very small. But it tasted better hours later. The flavored of the butter harden and cake texture is better hours later uncovered. The glaze was delicious and perfect. Put it on when the cake is still warm but on the cooler side of warm. This way the glaze is easier to spread. It's 110 g flour 3 g baking powder not 140 g and 4 g. Triple the recipe. Peel the lemon like you would an orange to get all the pulp or meat from the lemon. 20 g of it was one whole lemon for me. The cake tasted buttery but not lemony. But the glaze is lemony

Typically pound cakes are made with equal portion of flour, butter, eggs and sugar. Actually in this recipe the sugar is already reduced to 80g+20g in the pickled lemon. The rest of the ingredients are 110g (2 eggs weigh about 110g). So don't think sugar shld be reduced any further as sugar keeps cakes moist

@@nilcemendes5527 também fiquei na dúvida nesse ingrediente. Eu descasquei o limão e piquei a polpa sem as partes fibrosas e branca bem picadinho. Fica com um pouco de caldo. Pesei 20g desse limão picado mais 20g de açúcar. Deu certo todas as vezes que fiz. Faz sim se possível com limão siciliano fica maravilhoso.

Check your cake with a toothpick by placing it in the center; if the toothpick comes out clean your cake is ready. Take your cake out of the oven and let your cake cool for about 10 minutes. @@designdeepa I used fresh lemon, I took out the white skin and left only the fruit, and mixed with sugar. I did it at the beginning and by the time I added it to the cake mix it was a little watery, more like a jam consistency

Excelente y sencilla receta, lo prepare ayer y quedó exquisito, me encanta lo esponjoso y suave si uno sigue al pie de la letra el procedimiento queda perfecta, yo le agregue una pizca de sal para resaltar el sabor y rayadura de Limón a la mezcla y le coloque almendras molidas, por encima en vez del glaseado.. Pero quedó estupendo , además los ingredientes son pocos y las cantidades de los ingredientes son menores, en comparación con otro Poundcake que yo había, preparado antes... Felicidades agradecida con esta, linda receta, espero que la preparen, no quedarán defraudados..

Excelente y sencilla receta, lo prepare ayer y quedó exquisito, me encanta lo esponjoso y suave si uno sigue al pie de la letra el procedimiento queda perfecta, yo le agregue una pizca de sal para resaltar el sabor y rayadura de Limón a la mezcla y le coloque almendras molidas, por encima en vez del glaseado.. Pero quedó estupendo , además los ingredientes son pocos y las cantidades de los ingredientes son menores, en comparación con otro Poundcake que yo había, preparado antes... Felicidades agradecida con esta, linda receta, espero que la preparen, no quedarán defraudados..

Lilya Omelchuk спекла зараз на мій смак дуже солодкий та зверху то зайве бо робиця ще солодше . Він сам вологий але важкий я люблю щоб було вологе але легке! Та мабуть розпушувач у нас інший треба не 3 а 6г бо масла забагато. Більше його не буду робить. Привіт тобі моя дорогенька від мене з Запоріжжя!
