Yes, you can make lemon pickled just using those lemon flesh and sugar as what written on the recipe. I make them few hours before or just let it sit until most of sugar dissolve. 2. I reduce sugar to 40 grams only (because we already put sugar in lemon pickled and also we use sugar glaze) and it turn so good and not too sweet. Thank you Mommy Oven 🙏🏻

bardzo smaczny przepis, ciasto puszyste i ma cytrynowy bogaty smak. Nie miałam pikli cytrynowych ( u nas nie w zwyczaju marynowania cytryn) więc wyfiletowałam cytrynę i dodałam cukier i wszystko zagotowałam na patelni, ostudzone dodałam do ciasta. Wyszło super.

This is the fluffiest cake I’ve ever made! It’s so delicious. I added some lemon zest too because I tried the bater and felt like I wanted a little stronger taste. My butter, sugar and eggs mixture curdled but I added a little flour while beating and it fixed the problem. Then I added the rest. I had to use a round pan so I don’t know if that changes the result but the knife trick didn’t work for me. Thank you for the recipe! 😘
The amount for this recipe needs to be tripled for a 9 by 5 loaf pan. I didn't do that and it was very small. But it tasted better hours later. The flavored of the butter harden and cake texture is better hours later uncovered. The glaze was delicious and perfect. Put it on when the cake is still warm but on the cooler side of warm. This way the glaze is easier to spread. It's 110 g flour 3 g baking powder not 140 g and 4 g. Triple the recipe. Peel the lemon like you would an orange to get all the pulp or meat from the lemon. 20 g of it was one whole lemon for me. The cake tasted buttery but not lemony. But the glaze is lemony

I made this today and it is sooo good. It is super soft and yummy. For the glaze, I used some leftover buttercream glaze and added some lemon juice. Will definitely make this again. Thank you ♥️
Excelente y sencilla receta, lo prepare ayer y quedó exquisito, me encanta lo esponjoso y suave si uno sigue al pie de la letra el procedimiento queda perfecta, yo le agregue una pizca de sal para resaltar el sabor y rayadura de Limón a la mezcla y le coloque almendras molidas, por encima en vez del glaseado.. Pero quedó estupendo , además los ingredientes son pocos y las cantidades de los ingredientes son menores, en comparación con otro Poundcake que yo había, preparado antes... Felicidades agradecida con esta, linda receta, espero que la preparen, no quedarán defraudados..

Check your cake with a toothpick by placing it in the center; if the toothpick comes out clean your cake is ready. Take your cake out of the oven and let your cake cool for about 10 minutes. Eu tirei as raspas do limão e misturei com 20 Gr de açúcar apertando as raspas ao açúcar pra soltar bem o sabor das raspas, ficou perfeito, cor e sabor

Pesei 20g desse limão picado mais 20g de açúcar. Deu certo todas as vezes que fiz. Faz sim se possível com limão siciliano fica maravilhoso.

@@koesrikoesri5347 Hi, I used 110g of flour as per the video. I did not eat the cake, my parents prefer not so sweet cake. If you have a sweet tooth, you may want to adjust it to 65g or 70g of sugar perhaps?
Typically pound cakes are made with equal portion of flour, butter, eggs and sugar. Actually in this recipe the sugar is already reduced to 80g+20g in the pickled lemon. The rest of the ingredients are 110g (2 eggs weigh about 110g). So don't think sugar shld be reduced any further as sugar keeps cakes moist
@@designdeepa I used fresh lemon, I took out the white skin and left only the fruit, and mixed with sugar. I did it at the beginning and by the time I added it to the cake mix it was a little watery, more like a jam consistency
I tried this cake today. I didn't have pickled lemon so I add the one lemon juice and grated peel. It came out great, so light, airy and melt in your mouth good. And the lemon add freshness and tangy flavor that made it really delicious.

Zur Kontrolle ob der Kuchen gar ist, nimmt man ein Holzstäbchen (Schaschlik Spieß). Ist der Kuchen gar, bleib der Teig nicht mehr am Spieß hängen!😊👍

@@phedralasram1028 so is the cake moist with only 10g sugar? Good to know as some are intolerant of sugar. Technically it is no longer a pound cake.

Lo que veo en el video es el limón fresco, pelado y sin piel, con la azúcar te va a quedar un especie de miel. Seguro la traducción es exagerada.

@@designdeepa I used fresh lemon, I took out the white skin and left only the fruit, and mixed with sugar. I did it at the beginning and by the time I added it to the cake mix it was a little watery, more like a jam consistency

I tried this cake today. I didn't have pickled lemon so I add the one lemon juice and grated peel. It came out great, so light, airy and melt in your mouth good. And the lemon add freshness and tangy flavor that made it really delicious.
