    No way, I am currently working on a project which requires a whole lot of retiming, and the retiming in Final Cut Pro has been making me crazy! So glad you made this video, all these infos will be saving my life!

    I didn't know this was an option... getting Motion just for this. Can't believe I've been trying to do all this in FCP. Ty for this!

    I'm ashamed to admit I didn't know anything about retiming in Motion and so this tutorial has been a real eye-opener. Most useful. Thank you so much! Scotland approves!

    A hugely useful video. Thank you. I've been using Motion for years for animation but for some reason have never played with these tools. I can't want to try them!

    Thanks once again boss! The retiming is very similar to After Effects but that behavior feature isn't (AFAIK). Gotta check that out for sure. It would be awesome if Apple made it easier to move between both apps as Adobe does.

    hello Dylan I love what you do. thank you for helping us in our discovery journey to Apple Motion. I was wondering if is there any way to import a part of video inside of fcpx project without exporting it?

    As a Final Cut user, this is a great lecture. However, I am increasingly leaning toward Premiere Pro because it is easier, faster, and more integrated.

    Those behaviors... it's actually mind-blowing how it works together by respecting the underlying clip duration and the 'modified' length due to the changes... can they stack somehow? Like, set speed, then a shorter flash inside the SetSpeed range.
    And yes! I vote yes for part 2!

    i really wish that FCP would make the smooth slow downs and smooth speed ups without us having to do anything .. just press one button

    this is so cooool. What about edit whole video in Apple Motion? is it possible? because if I do some car video I need a lots of speedramps for more clips but I cant imagine Im do speed ramps for every single clip and each of them export to fcpx and do this again and again

    06:14 I think Clones "accept" retiming behaviours. Haven't used it myself but think I saw it somewhere. I could of course be delusional :)

    Love the videos can you answer a question not related to the current video so when I save and Final Cut Pro does it save all of my media and everything and one folder.? I want to be able to delete the original videos once I’m done with the project and know that Final Cut Pro already saved everything in one folder thank you

    • @TheFinalCutBro
      @TheFinalCutBro  7 месяцев назад +1

      When importing your videos, on the right side of the import window you will see an option to "Leave Files In Place" or "Copy to Library". The option you want to select is "Copy To Library" if you want all your media to be in the same folder. You can then delete the media that's not been imported to FCP.
