This is the DMX concert from 1999 in which he performed his hit song "Ready to Meet Him." This is a must-watch live performance for any fan of DMX! DMX live on stage
DMX is one of the best & most unique rappers ever. Jesus I ask that you open your loving arms to him and allow him in heaven because he has always loved and represented your word with no fear.
He souled his soul to Damien. I don't know if god would forgive him for it because it's so bad of a sin. It's crazy because we all have to face judgment.
Bro the 90s up til 05 were the golden era. Its todays rap that's overrated. Wu tang, Lox, Nas, Dipset, Dmx(RIP), Big L(RIP), Big Pun(RIP), Biggie(RIP), Tupac(RIP), Eminem, Cannibus, Lil Wayne, Ludacris, Dr. Dre etc etc etc. The list goes on and on up til Jeezy and Ross coming out hard. Back then u needed talent, and connections to get a record deal. The new kids have no vocabulary, no flow, no delivery, no metaphors, no BARS, no talent and use the internet to make money. Anypne can be a rapper. Its sad af. I miss the 90s. Sincerely, an 80s baby. (1982)
@@too_sturdy na it was pronounce as dead. After80s bc 90s was mostly drug sex women money. Killing. Quality change from 80s early 90s it was dead then big & pac was suppose to have save it. Nas said it was dead in 01 same with OutKast
Can we all just enjoy the fact that besides this being a classic, no half naked girls, no fancy cars, no flashing money and 100% testosterone. R.I.P D although legends never die.
The YT playlist "DMX Gospel Songs (Spiritual Street Music)" answers your prayer! But his family really should have released such an Best Of album after his death.
Earl “DMX” Simmons is in a far greater place now. Free from all of the material bondage. Now he may operate in spirit, freely. He is right with the ultimate creative source of all, which some call God. Rest in Power, Earl.
Dmx was so full of ambition and intensity whenever he was on stage, such a true unique talent this man held within him despite the demons that he battled with daily throughout his life. We will never get another rapper like him again, he will always be a one and only. God rest his soul 🙏🏼
the real war is to follow the law of the lord !!!!! this guy is going threw battles that many in the world are going through .....people are suffering out here in the streets !!!
The first DMX album I got and this was the song I heard the most lost it after 1 yr of having it .. Then I here it again now word for word I remember the song and I walked this same walk I'm 27 now and I thank God in the name of Jesus for DMX for writing this song he should know that this seed was watered ...
Dmx was and is a example sent to show everyone that no matter their color that we are the same and god is in all of us. Dmx was selfless he loved everyone there will never be anyone that comes close to X in the rap game he is truly a legend and has inspired me throughout my life.
The music that most rap haters never get the opportunity to hear...not always about: guns, drugs, sex & violence....much love X...you held it down 5 cd's straight...Raps G.O.A.T.
RIP DMX I wish I got to see him perform this song live, I was at his 1st concert in Miami in the summer of 98, (great summer,, mobb deep,, lords of the underground,, onyx,, & many others were there) before this song came out. I will always listen to your music til it's my time to meet him.
THANK YOU D FOR BEING THE REALEST RAPPER EVER, YOU SAVED ME SO MANY TIMES AND HELPED ME WHEN I HAD NOBODY AND GAVE ME STRENGTH THROUGH YOUR LYRICS AND WILL BE LOVED AND MISSED FOREVER!!! LEGENDS NEVER DIE 👑 X FOREVER
Easily the BEST Hip Hop live performer. It’s not even close. Almost every other rapper has 10 people on stage rapping with them. X would run back and forth on the stage and not lose his breath and still be able to do his verses. He would get the whole crowd as crazy and amped as I’ve ever seen at a hip hop concert.
X was a beast for real, his spirit and presence was powerful. It’s a shame drugs took a hold of him. He had the world in his hands, they wanted him everywhere and the best part about it was he never changed who he was. That hood in him was present wherever he went and it was charming cause it was real
One of the Realest songs ever written...
In the world
For real. Song fits todays social and political climate.
RIP DMX ✊🏿
@@charminagray990 🤎👍🏽✊🏾👊🏽
Thats right
Only tupac and dmx be talking to God on their songs
These kids don't even realize how special this performance is!!! 🔥✊🏼
Their soul do.
Maybe. What should the do? Standing still is really hard when the beat goes this hard!
After what I just saw, I'm riding with the lord
ONS
"AFTER WHAT I JUST SSAW ,
IM RIDING WITH THE LORD....."
Amen
You riding with the Lord now??or should I say you still riding with the Lord?
X is preaching, but the kids are just dancing while he drops jewels.
So you can't. Dance and still get the message .
Those kids are the adults now and we KNOW NOW what some missed back then
Im bumping my head but I'm taking in the message
Facts
@@YOUNGACiDBASTARD True. But I prefer Lyric Videos of such deep songs to not get distracted from the words spoken!
DMX is one of the best & most unique rappers ever. Jesus I ask that you open your loving arms to him and allow him in heaven because he has always loved and represented your word with no fear.
Amen
He was a Psalmist for the Lord
Exactly the mouth piece of the lord
Amen
He souled his soul to Damien. I don't know if god would forgive him for it because it's so bad of a sin. It's crazy because we all have to face judgment.
Those verses and that instrumental in 1999. Just legendary and massively underrated
Idk people that were listening when he came out rate him way up

Nas dropped "stillmatic" dec 18th 01. A classic album. Then named album "hip hop is dead" Dec 18th 06.
Idk if people understand how mutch depth is in this spit.
2019 👌👌😉
Fact
Probably very few....
That beat too tho good Lord
Can't even put into words how much I respect this track.
I grew up off this song 😔 this hurts man
this the songs that our youth needs to hear today.not this fake rapping shit today
This song is powerful and full of spiritual energy
Exactly 🙏🏾🕊🐐
This song is not DMX. It is the lord channeled through him.
Dmx is absolute proof that no matter what your situation in life may be, the lord will always be there for you if your heart is open. God bless all.
@@honestabe9233 Well said ✊🏽
So powerful & will make the hairs on your skin jump
One of my favorite Dmx tracks ever, have heard it a million times. Just noticing now that he didn’t curse the whole song
He never cursed on any of his gospel songs
I can't even believe Flesh Of My Flesh came out 17 years ago... Classic fucking album !!!!!
Do Something About It I was 4 years old when I listen to DMX.
Can we all just enjoy the fact that besides this being a classic, no half naked girls, no fancy cars, no flashing money and 100% testosterone. R.I.P D although legends never die.
He doesn't rest, but instead praises God in Heaven without needing rest anymore! :-)
He needed to make that religious, spiritual, gospel, prayer album
The YT playlist "DMX Gospel Songs (Spiritual Street Music)" answers your prayer! But his family really should have released such an Best Of album after his death.

He is with Jesus now - and sees what he had believed. No resting for him, but praising God without end and without sin.
you understand how raw u gotta be to say fuck all the other songs and perform this. This man was SPECIAL
My favorite DMX song and one that hits a different way today.
#RIPDMX
His best song hands down. Might be the greatest rap song of all time. Damn. Rest in pride, X.
It's like reading the book of Job in your Bible, but with a beat behind the words! :-)
"They got us suspecting a war, but the real war is following the law of the LORD, I'm ready to meet him!" AMEN AMENNN
I never knew he did this live .. straight fire 🔥
He was ready to meet him now he on his way RIP dog.

Rest DMX

No rest needing, when your are in Heaven and got your new body! ;-)
Why is it when a rapper dies their words get deeper then they have ever been. Rise to Power X.
His words were always deep but when he died, man Slippin’ just gets to me worse now.
His soul was bubbling and glowing so fiercely in this performance. The fire in his eyes is so enlivening.
I can’t believe this giant of a man is gone
IM from Russia and i love to listen his music and this track is my favorite so deep song RIP DMX
I love this side of him... Realest in my opinion...
True! I was hoping his last album would be full of such tracks... I made myself a bestof compilation of his faith-based songs.

its even worse on dmx cause he did satans bidding for years in the illuminati so he is breaking free.
we all sin my friend
This song is crazy
The beat is crazy it gives me chills at the end whit that chorus
This song and all of his prayers on all of his albums was why he was blackballed.
The teenagers in that crowd prolly never took heed to those words he spit to them that day....💯😞
