What’s cool about that mod is they looked at the PDA entry to see how much of the skeleton is there and then used that and the measurements they took of the skeleton in the lost river to make it full scale
With how big the creature is, it probably landed in the water *past the horizon*. Like the curvature of the planet is blocking where the creature landed. I have no clue how big a wave would be from that thing, so the wave may or may not appear over the horizon depending on a few things
@@ArtificialXD Due to the mod, while you're speaking logically, we need to speak mechanically. This isn't real life. If a creature of that mass hit the water at that speed, it would cause a massive displacement of water that you would definitely be able to see beyond the horizon. But the game modders couldn't do that because that's super hard, so the best they can do is create a big splash or cause the water to shift as the creature moved.
It’s also cool to think about how something that large would need a steady food source. Which would mean that it would eat something a LITTLE smaller than itself. Which based on this would also be an immensely large levitation class.

I did a little research based on the wiki article about this creature. I was especially impressed by how long it was estimated to be (~1km in length) and about the hint about these creatures tending to become very old. I started wondering what makes some species live longer than others and found out that, among other aspects, it depends on the size and whether it has high or low metabolism. Most animals that have a low metabolism have a tendency to live longer than those with high metabolism. One would assume however, that, since predators need a lot of energy to hunt, most of them should have a high metabolism. It would make sense that a creature like this would have a high energy intake, especially since it was a carnivore. So it would seem that there's sort of a contradiction here. Interestingly, eels have low metabolism despite being a predator in the real world - and the gargantuan leviathan is considered to be some sort of eel. So in the end, it makes sense again. I think the fact that this fictional creature is so well thought out, despite being little more than a sight in a remote location that the player is unlikely to visit very often (courtesy of Ghosty), is representative of the quality of this game and the dedication of the developers.

The game would then have a final cutscene where you in the void of space and while flying away you look back at the planet one last time, and there's a faint orange glow in the ocean, used as a way to show how enormous this creature truly is, its then seen for a second or so where its headed north (or south i don't remember) to where subzero is set, getting ready for its return in below zero. I need to see Jack actually play
I love that I couldn't take my eyes of its beautiful
Honestly I wish they had a creature that size in sabbatica, I was sort of expecting that when I started the game, but I do understand that it would difficult to actually program and render something like that unless it was in a scripted event or cutscene or whatever. Still would be cool though
I love Sabbatica.
Due to its size i feel like it would look better if it moved a bit slower
Supposedly they couldn’t make that happen or it would’ve caused problems with the cutscene.
How deep is that water for it to be able to go straight down 💀
If you get eaten by that thing, you basically start playing another map. It's so big that you could literally have an entire story with the inside of that Leviathan as the map.
Pls play subnautica again!!!
This game is too addictive and when I saw ur last video on it of space ship! U got emotional, my reaction was also the same 🙂👍
but like there's no content left for it
so whats there to do
@@Tsuki_Yomi0 yes that's also a point!
But when a new update comes then it will be cool 😎
@@Aayush_dab thats true thats true
In the video this is from he said he probably won't unless it is a large mod or update, I figure he eventually will.
There's enough mods now that he could do a new playthrough that would hit just as good as the original series I feel.
Jack: "This just looks like regular Subnautica, what's happening?"
Video: *Nothing new happens*
Jack: "Oh!"
Imagine seeing this in the distance in reality I would run away and fast as humanly possible
the fact we didn’t even see the tail at the end of the clip shows how long it is
The fact the Leviathan was moving so fast outa water triggered me to a fucking massive extent
Yeah smh this game is 100% realistic so why would they do something so horrible and unrealistic like this?! #CancelTheModders
@@coffeeenjoyer9099 wtf lmao
Now...if I remember correctly which I probably don't...that thing's a baby 😅
That's an adult version I think
No, that’s the adult.
the size of this thing borders on gaming limits. It's no wonder that this animal in its adult stage doesn't fit on the map, which is huge
I love how small of a splash it made
just saw Free Guy, and I got to say, Jack -- Seán, amazing acting! A list material, out of all the lines spoken in the movie, your three sentences were the best!
He had more than that, and I read liked how he made the character believable and compelling even.
I mean that 100%
Like when he was telling him to get up, you felt like he really cared and not fake like it usually is in movies
I mean those creatures are cool, but biologically and physically speaking I can't hold myself from thinking how ridiculously impossible they are
It just takes a lot of oxygen and a good food source
@@yaboi1544 The ammount of energy required just to pump blood to every part of theri body on time (and the size of the veins and hearts, because I assume it has several) it is just too much in the first place.
And just for what?? To be so slow and with so much surface area that any attack/damage needs a colosal ammount of time and resources to heal and being killed and eaten from the inside before that.
To move in a fluid you basically hace to push that fluid away and place it on your other side, so don't expect it to be able to barely move at all
@@byrey3 you are more concerned about the accuracy on a planet thats 100% water, and has multiple lifeforms that cant exist. You are out of your league bro
Probably why it went extinct
The fact that it's head is probably the size of a normal Sea Dragon 💀
His reactions never get old 😂
This was just taking a piss that was waaay big
