Lyrical Monasterio: Luticia (DZLM Set 1) Deck Profile

Hey guys, it's Vanity Ezel back at it again with another Cardfight Vanguard deck video. This time we have the musical theatre group of Lyrical Monasterio making their way to the stage for the fantastic wedding ceremony of their leader, Luticia. They have trained in the classical performances and put on Cursed Plays for everyone to enjoy, and this event is no exception. The crowd will cheer and rejoice at the sound of their riving Etoile. I’m not usually a fan of lyrical Monasterio but Luticia is one of the few decks from I like design wise and play style wise and I’m happy she got some nice support in this set. I hope she turns out competitively good even though it’s kinda a turn 4 deck now.

Look, I get it. Sometimes you want to be dumb and not put effects trigger in the deck, I do that too. I prefer putting triggers that better suit the vibe of the deck, if the effect trigger happen to fit them fantastic, if not well I’m not compromising my aesthetic for efficiency. I know I should, but I want my deck to look good while I play.
Reshelto’s ability also activated if you discard her using Meriem’s skill. Reshelto just needs to be discarded by an ability and you need a Luticia vanguard. So both Luticia and Meriem’s skill can benefit from Reshelto.
And last thing, you think if you’d had space in the deck you’d play Perfect Tailoring, Crokel? She states, “When this unit is placed on (R), Cost[CB1] look at the top seven cards of your deck, choose up to one card with the DressUp ability from among them, reveal it and put it into hand, and shuffle the deck.” I’m not sure if I’d play her, but I think I might if I have space. Luticia being dependent on her new dress up, makes me think that’s running Crokel as a one of if there’s space might be a good idea, but I’m still thinking about it.

Ah yes, Reshelto’s skill does work with Meriem. I just never use Meriem’s skill so I completely ignored it but yeah you right, she can proc from her. As for Crokel, I would, BUT, I consistently draw at least 2 Rive Etoile every game (at least 1 in my opening hand and 1 roughly the turn before I go into her) so personally it would be a dead card for me, but if you have different luck then I definitely recommend you run it because it makes the deck so much stronger
