Well i got 93% shiny kyogre already, so gonna just focus more groudon. Even nonprimal groudon got more use raids and pvp than kyogre. Hopefully kyogre get someday more fast moves than only waterfall :/ seems even in pvp its better use surf than origin pulse which is sad
groudon. better in Open ML by far, new rank 1.
Groudon seems to be the more solid pick due to typing wise and not many things resist ground types in the league with exception of a few flying types like Dragonite.
Kyogre seems to work nice as well but many dragon Pokemons often in the league so mostly resisted damage, however it's fast move does hit quite a lot for even resisted moves.
So it's more of trying to do heavy fast damage or charged damage depending on the pokemon u go with. Both Pokemons are amazing in their own way so no really wrong answer.
@@NepNeppy Also if you decide you want to get more fast move pressure, you can use dragon tail Groudon. I think there really is no debate, Groudon all the way.

I can't wait to keep bullying Kyogre with Palkia if I happen to see a primal one running triple water moves in Mega ML next week 😁
Fun fact: Down in shields 2-0, Palkia is the only pokemon with a winning matchup vs Primal Kyogre, if it runs triple water. It will lose if P. Kyogre has Thunder though.
Edit: It seems the simulation was updated and it turns out Palkia does lose if it's at a 0-2 shield deficit vs triple water Primal Kyogre. But it's super close. But if it's against regular Kyogre, it's one of two pokemon who can still pull out a victory, the other being Dragonite.

Primal Kyogre’s fast attack animation looks way better than normal kyogre’s.
I rebuilt my old ML classic Kyogre team just based on the strength of this video; 12-game win streak later hit veteran for the first time in over a year. Surf works perfectly fine, like you said it's all about the Waterfall damage. It's just so oppressive. Thanks for the great video, as always!

I live in a area where it is hard to grind raids cause there isn't much gyms so I am building my dream team master league and it's hundo gholdengo ursaluna and primal kyogre
0:48 it's because primal kyogre has same high attack stat as groudon like mew2 so even resisted moves r lethal plus cp difference is about 2000-3000cp that's the reason
Origin Pulse Primal Kyogre doesn't care about type resistances. This thing hits hard!

Try using clayydoll in hoenn cup w mud shot shadow ball and earthquake or psychic. It has the perfect bulk and spice so try it
A clash of the Mega/Primal titans. This explains why the Primals are very expensive. Kyogre used Origin Pulse hits Yveltal and nearly 1 shots it. SUPER POWERFUL OMG WOW! Dialga being part dragon is so scared he shield it. Awesome battles, can't wait for Mega Master League.

Only if your other 2 Pokemon are very spammy and can bait all shields. Waterfall takes so long to charge up any nukes.

@15chagO I mean idk their CP is way higher than a lot of other pokemon, even Megas can reach. Very polarizing, you're basically playing at disadvantage 100% of the time purely by not having it on your team.
@@QueuedUp_ they don't care about that, master league has devolved into that, they never have restricted anything on open master when megas where allowed, you are able to participate if you want to without those advantages, nobody forces you to play, me personally are a free to play player and master league was my favorite league, but since the XL meta went up I don't play anymore.
