My logic behind the fact that most, if not all regionals, have bad movesets is that since a Pokémon is region specific, it would be very unfair for those who have no access to being able to fly/travel just to catch a certain Pokémon and so they’re all stuck with bad moves.
@MetaImoon if I thought they actually cared about that, I would agree with you. Remember, thinks like pacharisu and even heracross exist. From time to time they have alot of play in limited cups.
@@ryanhelm1813no he is right, they nerf the regionals on purpose. Hawlucha was gonna have Wing Attack and Sky Attack along with Flying press on release. That was gonnna make it one of the best corebreakers in all of Great League because of Flying press' ridiculous DPE. Once they learned this they removed Wing Attack andnleft it with Poison Jab which makes it's pacing worse. Theb they swapped Sly Attack with Aerial Ace.

Speaking of Astonish, any thoughts on a good UL team with a Lvl 51 Hundo Best Buddy Shadow Amoonguss? It seems like the non-Shadow does better overall per PvPoke, but whenever I try to play it, I quickly lose ELO... but I would love to get some use out of it due to the rarity factor.
Hooray for the Astonish buff! Finally, the Registeel and Giratina Altered matchups have flipped, along with a bunch of waters that used to beat my Amoonguss.

Doesn't learn Disarming Voice in the main series, unfortunately. Play Rough is about as good a Fairy move as it can get currently.
Astonish might not be a good fast move. But it isn't a bad fast move anymore.
It is now an Ice Shard clone, which is an okay fast move.
