I would like to add that I usually put a groove in the bushing center and add a grease zerk.

I see that Zelda tattoo! Great video. Not a bunch of bullshitting just telling me how to fix it! More RUclips videos should be like this one! Great video brother

Update. I removed my spring and the pulley still spun pretty freely. I had a piece of stick wedged in my back pulley and I thought that might have been causing my chattering. I replaced the belt and it is still chattering. My bushing must be in pretty good shape and IDK where to go from here. But you did teach me something I'm sure I'll use later

Is you transmission slipping? It could be the hydro inside of the transmissions. I just replaced one on my cub cadet

@@snaggdiggler I think I just had some cavitation in my fluid. I did the procedure for bleeding the system and it quietened down. I had "curb hopped" earlier in the day pulling up on my patio to change the deck blades and I had caused air to get into my system. Or at least that's what I think it was. I had only slightly noticed slipping in the left wheel prior to this. But it could've honestly been the tire losing grip in the fresh cut grass , because the manner I was abruptly changing directions. Like I do sometimes the end of a long strip. Each time it slipped and I thought "that could be the actual transmission" and leaned over to look , it grabbed and took off before I could see. Leading me further to believe it was traction because with the added weight of me leaning over it helped it grip and go. It's a Husqvarna mz61 and it's only like 2.5 summers old (189 hours).I don't have a whole lot of grass to cut with it. So I would be surprised if it was anything with much wear. I don't abuse it. I keep stuff greased and try to clear most debris you know. I'm not perfect though haha sorry I'm just getting back here with my update, I spent awhile cutting grass after i bled the system once. I'm planning on doing it again to be sure I got all the air out. Thank you for checking in on me. A man without his mower won't cut it. Lol

Are you sure part of the issue is not the actual tensioner pulley because on my 54 inch it was the bearing inside the pulley

I have a Husqvarna Z254F Special Edition that is 1 week old with an issue (box store not interested in making the sell good by not offering real help), but when unit is cold (not cold weather) upon starting there is no moving forward or reverse (while moving the steering/park brake arms)- the Hydro-Gear makes a whiny-grinding noise and after a minute or two of moving the steering/park brake arms the unit begins to work properly. Any ideas ?

My symptoms ... Z254 starts running good. Can go straight up the small hills in my yard. After a while, the left wheel starts loosing power (transmission slips). If I let is sit a bit, it runs good again. Due to other issues, I previously replaced the PTO clutch and drive belt. Any ideas?

I just did that with my cub cadet, unfortunately you have a bad center section. You can replace it, I think my cub cadet cost $150 for the center section and had to remove the transmission and tear it apart to do it. I rebuilt my right side transmission and bought a whole new transmission for the left side on my cub, so both are good now. I tried rebuilding both sides, but the left side still did the same thing, and would run fine until the fluid got hot, then the stick would just flop
