@@DetourShirts I signed up for the integration and already ran into their ASIN creation limit. I only published 9 items before I started getting "publishing error" on Printify, meaning that I had reached my limit. I've been trying to get some info from anyone and I am not having any luck. It seems that if I publish a t-shirt, for example, and that t-shirt has 5 colors, that is 6 of my ASIN creations already. They are probably also counting the different sizes as separate ASIN creations also, I don't know. I guess it doesn't matter to them, even tho I mentioned it to them (lol) that I've been a Amazon customer since 1998! Can you look into this and see what is true regarding as limits on colors and sizes?
You have to sign up. There a lot of steps and a fees but if you live in the US you most likely will get in. It’s different than trying to get on to Merch
Hello! Thank you for your video! It would be interesting to see a more detailed video specifically on setting up an Amazon seller center to work with Printify. How do I set it up correctly? What should I pay attention to? How do I add and edit a listing? Will I have my own page on Amazon like I do on Etsy? It is very difficult to figure out. I sell on Etsy, and now I have registered on Amazon, but everything here is very complicated. I watched a video on setting up Printify, which helped a little, but it talks more about registration. It would be interesting to see how to work directly inside the Amazon seller center!
Just so you all know amazon shuts your store down all the time, you have to link a credit or bank card, take a picture of your ID, wait three days for them to get your store live again. They do not let you upload very much. You have to go in and file for a GTIN exemption, which is hard. then you have to keep doing it. they don't let most products go through. you basically have to pay for advertising or they don't show your products, all the while your paying $40 a month, while making nothing. When they shut your store down until you get them your information resubmitted ...you are still paying their fee. anyway good luck. these channels make all of these videos how to get rich, but you put yourself in dept paying for canva, creative fabrica, etc, etc, etc.
The return policy is the main reason I haven't started selling on Amazon yet. I've heard a lot of people say that the return policy kills the POD business, especially after Christmas when customers return items for no reason. Because most of the items are single-use, once Christmas is over and people no longer need the products, people take advantage of the return policy to return the items. So if the seller has a way to curb this behavior, then I will consider starting to sell on Amazon. The only way I can think of at the moment is to customize all items, then the seller can declare that it does not accept returns from customers.
While checking the website I noticed that there is also a fee per sale, correct? That was not mentioned in the interview. I also noticed that this fee seems to be higher with the lifetime deal. Monthly subscription is 24,99$/month = 0,29$/sale and lifetime deal is 67$ + 0.49$ per sale. Did I get this right?
Yes, we still have our fee per graphic personalized, but we waive the $29.99 per month subscription. For $67, you get access to HelloCustom lifetime and will never have to pay subscription fees again. For us to make this work on our end, we did have to raise the fee a little, but when a user starts getting high sales velocity, they can switch back to the Business plan for lower fees.
Found that as well. Did a simple calculation on that, and come out with a conclusion whereby it is good and affordable for beginners as the lifetime payment is just 67$ which is way much lower than the original price 300/year. Great for those who has limited initial capital to start a personalization business. Also, not much to lose if the business is not working for a beginner. you only get charged more if you start selling more, in that way which makes the lifetime plan become more expensive (0.49/sale) than the yearly plan at 300 + 0.29/sale. But it’s good if you start making more sales, and still a good tool to invest if your business is growing. Just my two cents
Hello thank you so much for the information. I can see that you have a lot of questions after this video. In my understanding I will sign up for hello custom and integrate my store, new store or Etsy store? with Amazon. Is that correct? Do I use the same store name as I have on Etsy to be sure that my designs from Etsy transfer over. Can I use my Designs on Printify that I have oh my Etsy store and transfer them to Amazon this is a little confusing but very exciting. Sounds like I asked some stupid questions but like I said this is a lot to take in.
It's a totally different store than Etsy. You will have to sign up with Amazon Seller Central. Follow the steps in the Printify video. You can use the same designs you have and same store name if you want but you will have to upload them to Amazon.
A month ago, I set up an etsy shop, but they permanently suspended the shop before it was ever opened and charged me the 15.00 . They said I could not appeal again. I obviously filled something out wrong but they won't tell me what I did wrong! I am considering approaching the BBB and a couple other Entities. I was crushed!
I'm sorry to hear this. I started an etsy store last summer and was also immediately suspended. All I got was canned emails and no explanation on what to do. I then found out they were being sued. I had put so much time and effort in, but walked away.
Thanks for this video it was very informative! I have a question and any help would be appreciated. I already have an Amazon store set up (used to sell products and it is still active). I also have an Etsy store connected to Printify for POD. I would love to sell on Amazon through Printify. Do I connect Printify with my existing Amazon Seller account? Or is it best to transfer what I am already selling through Printify on my Etsy store (thus opening a new Amazon Seller account with my Etsy store name). I am quite confused as to how to go about it? I hope my questions made sense! :D
Like what? It's a different way to sell so I'm guessing not ALL rules apply but definitely don't design copyrighted or trademarked stuff. That's like universal.
Can you do a tutorial on the entire process? I have an Etsy shop but, I’ve never sold on Amazon. My Merch applications have been denied time and time again. I definitely want to take advantage of this opportunity. I’ve created an Amazon Seller account, paid the $40 but, I’m confused about the UPC & GTIN portion. I tried following the Printify tutorial but, I’m not getting the same results. Thank you in advance.
Thanks for sharing, this is great to know and especially the differences within Amazon....it seems for POD, that only personalized items will do well. I wish we could do both but no way can you compete with 2 day shipping.
I uploaded my designs to my Amazon store and they appear in my inventory but they are not displayed on Amazon. I have searched for them from different devices but they do not appear. Any advice or suggestions?
Yes, HelloCustom has a $0.29 / graphic personalized fee for our Business monthly plan and a $0.49 / graphic personalized fee for our Lifetime users. So, the lifetime plan is perfect for sellers just getting started, and the monthly plan is geared more for sellers doing volume. You can always change plans as sales start to ramp.
Yes, Printful has been integrated with Amazon for a while, but it never really took off due to higher prices and no personalization automation solutions.
@@HelloCustom When selling personalized photo products on Etsy, sellers receive the photo file from the customers through the Etsy message. So my question is: how do the sellers receive customer's photos on Amazon then? In another word, how do the customers pass their photo files to the sellers on Amazon?
hi!! please can you tell how to add the personalized button on an amazon list? i just upload a listing for an item to be customized but i dont know how to let people personalize the item. please can u help?
My primary concern with content creators on RUclips is the tendency to overhype topics while only scratching the surface, ultimately leaving your audience feeling confused and uninformed. Take POD integration, for instance-it's not a groundbreaking concept; Printful was the pioneer in this arena. The major hurdle has always been making that crucial "add to cart" button visible on the product page. I even went so far as to create my own brand, yet encountered the same frustrating issue. Recently, I decided to give Printify a try, hoping that their newer platform would offer comprehensive guidance on product uploads and more. However, I'm still faced with the same lack of information and can't seem to get that add to cart button to appear. I’m sharing this message in hopes of receiving some clarity, as I know others will see it beneath various videos like this one.
I understand. This is just the first video to explain what it's about. I plan to do more videos that further explain the process and make it more helpful.
If the font is for a text element meant to be personalized, then you will need to use regular fonts that you can upload to your HelloCustom account. If the text is just part of the design, then that is okay.
These news are awesome!!! I have 150 sales on Etsy POD selling shirts and phone cases. Do you guys recommend selling those on Amazon or start with other things like ornaments and blankets first?
I would start with what you already have. Get that low hanging fruit first. If it's getting you sales on Etsy, chances are you will get sales on Amazon too.
If I have merch by Amazon account do I still can have Amazon POD account? Is there any option to launch the add in Amazon POD in Amazon or we should use external Ads ? Thanks
If you have an Amazon merch account, you are still able to create a professional Amazon seller account for Amazon POD. You will be able advertise your products within Amazon via Amazon advertising. This is the same as Etsy ads, but Amazon gives you full control over search terms and bids.
I do digital Designs for laser engraving, I am just curious if you think Amazon will ever allow digital file sales with instant download like Etsy has?
UPDATE - Only available to US business. Yearly cost at least $468 on AZ costs ($39/month). Printify needs payment up front. So you'll be out of cash flow by about 6 weeks from start and will be needing to fund growth, this will need initial funding and I would estimate a min of $500 to start. All other costs are not included in this estimate. If you got Cash flow and are willing to put in the time = golden.
Agreed! This is why I highly recommend doing personalized products. Amazon FBA products and Amazon merch products are unable to leverage Amazon Custom. So personalization is something prime products are unable to compete with you on.
@@ashley1283 It's below this video, it's an affiliate link to get the $67 lifetime access. I tried going directly to hello custom site and I can't find it either. But I find it here. I think it's only through affiliates :)
@@DetourShirts Yes only the monthly fee was removed but still an additional $0.49 cents per custom item sold. Since I am just a small beginner, I don't think it is a good idea to add that amount on top of the price I already charge, nor to take it from my small profit margin. What is your perspective.
@@ashley1283 When I clicked in the link under the video, I was able to find the lifetime access on their page. However, there is still a $0.49 cent fee per custom item sold and there is no way to opt out of that unfortunately.
@HelloCustom -- Stephen, this is so exciting, congratulations! Can you confirm what one of your CS people told me that Hello Custom can only personalize an item if it has one side. For example, I want to personalize only the front of a notebook with a name, but since the notebook itself is two-sided, Hello Custom can't do it. That was what I understood was told to me.
@@DetourShirts Yes, I'd like to know for sure if there are any Printify products that personalization can't be done on. There is more than t-shirts and mugs to be sold. Thanks, Juna! :)
The only way I can think of at the moment is to customize all items, then the seller can declare that it does not accept returns from customers. I'm not sure if this is possible, but I saw the seller above doing it like this on Amazon
With Printify are they gonna still charge you upfront like they do for etsy or is it still gonna be a royalty system where they cover the upfront costs and pay you after all deductions are made.
@@DetourShirts It could be hard on a smaller business. With the traffic amazon gets and someone places a hundred shirt order for say a family reunion or benefit and say their shirts are 24.99ea now printify is gonna try to hit their account for $2500 before the shirts can be made where with amazon merch they just received royalties with no upfront costs. Hopefully Amazon and printify would have something worked out or at least let people know what they might be in for.
Amazon pays its merchants every 2 weeks, the 1st and 16th of the month. There are tools out there that give you daily payouts, but they will take a % of your Amazon payouts.
What about returns? How are returns handled since this is print on demand and I heard that sellers have to accept returns. Is that true, if so, how is it handled?
I completely agree! This is why I believe offering personalized products is the way to find success with Amazon POD. If a customer wants a personalized product, then they know it's not your traditional FBA product.
@@DetourShirts I disagree. I don't think Amazon customers are seeking customized items the way Etsy customers are. When I shop on Amazon, I'm looking for a good deal and fast delivery.
Can i upload marvel and dc stuff to zazzle? What about hashtags should I add them will that cause to suspend? What is the correct way to upload them? can i upload pics or just texts?
No... not unless they have a fan art/official license... but what you can do is link a marvel or DC design that is already on Zazzle officially and post it on your shop.
Interesting, this is for someone who has experience and maybe redubbed or merch by amazon already running, because Amazon POD is not beginners friendly because they need to pay upfront and that will add up each month if they don't get sales Still a huge opportunity for advanced users, those who know what they're doing Thanks for sharing
Just so you all know amazon shuts your store down all the time, you have to link a credit or bank card, take a picture of your ID, wait three days for them to get your store live again. Juna, do you understand anything about how customer service and also how the return policy will work with this Amazon/Printify opportunity? I’m new to POD and just don’t want to get in over my head. Thank you for your awesome channel. :)
Great news and video! Two questions.... can you sell digital products on Amazon? Printful used to have an integration with Amazon - is that still alive?
Hi, Juna.... love your videos! I'm really excited about this new opportunity! What's the difference between this program Printify/Amazon vs selling on Amazon Merch. A lot more product availability on Printify/Amazon and don't have to deal with getting accepted into Merch.... your thoughts?
Juna, do you think we could offer products not allowed on Merch, like 9/11 memorial stuff etc? I was thinking maybe Amazon has some legal CYA when they're making the stuff that they might not have when they're not?
I think it needs to be made clear that selling products on Amazon using print on demand products is not the same as having an Amazon Merch on Demand account where you have to apply to join AMD and Amazon is responsible for creating and delivering the product.
Urgent Questions for you both. 1. Can this work If based in the UK but want to sell to US marketplace? 2. When is Shopify integration coming to HelloCustom 3. Is Lifetime LTD deal going to honour all future updates and are there any upsell funnels? (Hate these) Thanks.
Great question. I think Stephen knows more than me on these. I'm going to have to double check on which countries can do this but my guess is that those based in the UK would be okay
@@DetourShirts Thanks sir. Also its important for people to understand the Cash flow situation here as well.
Thank you for that. Good to know
US only, boooo😢
Why is hello custom not offering integration for outside of US! there is a whole world out there apart from US
what do u mean by only us business is it u need an LLC?
Where is the link to get this new Amazon opportunity?
Here is the link for the Amazon + Printify Integration
Delivery time on printify could be a big problem vs Amazon prime 😊😊
Maybe... but with personalized products people may be okay with the longer shipping times
Agreed! This is why I highly recommend doing personalized products. Amazon FBA products and Amazon merch products are unable to leverage Amazon Custom. So personalization is something prime products are unable to compete with you on.
@@HelloCustom that a Good Idea 💡 thanks man, do you have any videos on how to
The problem here is pricing, because Hello Custom charges a monthly fee AND a transaction fee for every item you customize.
You can get the monthly fee taken away when you buy the one time Lifetime Deal
@@DetourShirts I don't see a liftetime deal option. Where do I find that? I only see monthly and yearly
This hello custom works with merch on demand?
No.... Merch on Demand is it's own thing
Sadly, no. HelloCustom works for your Amazon seller central custom products.
Thank you for keep posting these very helpful videos
Sure thing!
This will be better than having a shopify store
It potentially could... it has more organic traffic
The difference here in shopify it's your store, here you work for them in any time they get you out
I am finding it hard to get traffic organically without adds
@HelloCustom -- Stephen, this is so exciting, congratulations! Can you confirm what one of your CS people told me that Hello Custom can only personalize an item if it has one side. For example, I want to personalize only the front of a notebook with a name, but since the notebook itself is two-sided, Hello Custom can't do it. That was what I understood was told to me.
Great question for Stephen I hope he answers
@@DetourShirts Yes, I'd like to know for sure if there are any Printify products that personalization can't be done on. There is more than t-shirts and mugs to be sold. Thanks, Juna! :)
One of the main issues with Amazon is their return policy. Especially with returns of seasonal products.
That's true... so many returns
The only way I can think of at the moment is to customize all items, then the seller can declare that it does not accept returns from customers. I'm not sure if this is possible, but I saw the seller above doing it like this on Amazon
But I think that personalized items are not returnable. Not sure
With Printify are they gonna still charge you upfront like they do for etsy or is it still gonna be a royalty system where they cover the upfront costs and pay you after all deductions are made.
Good question. I’m not entirely sure but I would guess it works a lot like Etsy
When is this launching?
Printify + Amazon is already out... HelloCustom is launching Sept 1
Such an exciting opportunity! But does it really take Amazon a month to reimburse you for the upfront costs of fulfilling your orders?
Ohhhh... I hope not... I'm going to sign up and do videos about my journey with it.
Im not 100% sure but my guess is that it would be a lot like Etsy, so we would have to handle it.
@@DetourShirts Thank you so much for the response!!
When is the Amazon integration starting?
It’s already started
but most amazon customer base is looking for low prices, free and fast shipping
That's because this hasn't been possible before.... personalized Print on Demand on Amazon... people will pay more for something personalized.
I completely agree! This is why I believe offering personalized products is the way to find success with Amazon POD. If a customer wants a personalized product, then they know it's not your traditional FBA product.
@@HelloCustom do you have a video tutorial on how to connect Amazon POD with hellocusom account? Thanks
@@DetourShirts I disagree. I don't think Amazon customers are seeking customized items the way Etsy customers are. When I shop on Amazon, I'm looking for a good deal and fast delivery.
To be fair Merch by Amazon is also not that fast. So, you might get away with it
Very intriguing. Will you be taking advantage of this opportunity, Juna?
I going to try... time permitting
@@DetourShirts thnkx bro what about hashtags would that be a issue? And how can i link the designs that already in
Interesting, this is for someone who has experience and maybe redubbed or merch by amazon already running, because Amazon POD is not beginners friendly because they need to pay upfront and that will add up each month if they don't get sales
Still a huge opportunity for advanced users, those who know what they're doing
Thanks for sharing
True not beginner friendly but a huge opportunity
Hi dear please make a tutorial of how to sign up on Amazon integration with printify please please share 😊
Will do soon
What products do you think would sell well on Amazon with Printify integration? 👀
I'm going to guess blankets, ornaments, mugs and t-shirts
@@DetourShirts Thank you.. I will I will do ornaments and mugs :)
can you make a video on it how does it work?
Sure... I'll sign up and then show how it works
@@DetourShirts Please - Its Confusing...

I want to know about refunds. Also I assume Amazon pays the sales tax since they are collecting the payment and sales tax. Is that correct? I'm watching right now, but will look in to this. Sounds like a great opportunity!
I don’t know about refunds. I would guess that it would be like Etsy, where you handle that part. Sales tax is built into the final price.
@@DetourShirts thank you
That’s gonna be a lot of competition for Etsy sellers 😏
True
@@ibendivanno4270
Yes, I bet Etsy is working overtime on this one.
Juna, do you understand anything about how customer service and also how the return policy will work with this Amazon/Printify opportunity? I’m new to POD and just don’t want to get in over my head. Thank you for your awesome channel. :)
Yes... It's a lot. I will have to cover it in a video. Maybe even get some help
why printify and not printfull?
Better prices and Hello Custom only works with Printify (I believe)
Great news and video! Two questions.... can you sell digital products on Amazon? Printful used to have an integration with Amazon - is that still alive?
I think this is just physical Printify products... I believe the Printful integration is still alive it just doesn't work with HelloCustom
But UK and Europe excluded....makes no sence. Guess it will be FBM
We can start from 0 with POD and printify given what the video says
Nice
@@DetourShirts thanks 🙏
Hi, Juna.... love your videos! I'm really excited about this new opportunity! What's the difference between this program Printify/Amazon vs selling on Amazon Merch. A lot more product availability on Printify/Amazon and don't have to deal with getting accepted into Merch.... your thoughts?
Yup... that's exactly right... It's also not free. It's like $40/month
But not in the UK or Europe???????
Sorry. I think they are starting with the US first.
Juna, do you think we could offer products not allowed on Merch, like 9/11 memorial stuff etc? I was thinking maybe Amazon has some legal CYA when they're making the stuff that they might not have when they're not?
Possibly... I would still be cautious though
Is this seller central or something different?
Seller Central with Printify and HelloCustom
I think it needs to be made clear that selling products on Amazon using print on demand products is not the same as having an Amazon Merch on Demand account where you have to apply to join AMD and Amazon is responsible for creating and delivering the product.
That is true... Stephen made it clear in the video. They are separate things
As far as Im aware UNLESS you use a POP shop (Only available in USA atm) you have to pay upfront for the prints to printify, please confirm as this will stop many going forward with tight budgets. Salamat !
@@DetourShirts Waiting on this, I am from India and want to know if I can do this from my country?
I have been doing POD with printful X amazon for 2 years, I don't think this is new...
The new part is the personalization
so annoying being excluded from things because not in the usa. so frustrating. printify really dont like the uk
Yeah... they like to test everything with the US market first since it's the biggest. Sorry
This sounds like Amazon on steroids, lol… but seems to be cool, I might take a look into it
Good luck
I don't see the big deal. Printful had an Amazon integration years ago. Aren't they better at fulfillment?
The difference is the personalization.... that couldn't be done with Printful
hello any one arabic man ?
Sorry I'm not but I will add subtitles soon
Hi

Please help me
I'm already selling on Amazon as a fbm
So i have to open new account for POD?
