Hi Juna, thank you for the video. Can you please show tips and tricks you used for using affinity designer? Even the most basic tools when you design. Crop, mask, duplicating artboard, subtracting a path etc :)
Thank you Could you create a video on selecting fonts for t-shirt designs? Choosing the right font can be challenging and headaches, not sure which one to use and most of them i do not have it also.
❤Hello JUNA! I wanted to tell you that I love your channel and the content you always provide. I've been following you for a long time and I feel truly inspired and entertained every time I watch your videos. The way you present information in an interesting and smooth manner is what attracted me to your channel. I really appreciate all the effort you put into producing such great content. I can't wait to see more of your amazing creations in the future! Thank you again for your great work. 😊Freedizayner from Morocco
I will definitely be throwing a few of these, especially the last few, into my holiday line up this year. I love the inline and hidden words the most! Thanks for sharing!
Another great video! So helpful! Can you do a video showing 1. how to do arch text with an outline in photopia and 2. Then show how to fill it with an image or a pattern? Asking for a friend 😄❤️
Awesome video, thank you! Could you perhaps provide insight on how to do effective product listings for designs like these? Since there’s less visually, I imagine the product listings are a bit more difficult to get right. Awesome video again!
Amazing video Juna as always, many thanks! Can you please suggest 1-3 goto fonts for funny text only phrase designs? I use Canva pro, so Canva pro or free fonts would be ideal.
I love your work, but "Bruh" is Trademarked, I am shocked by what words you are not allowed to use, but anyways your content is amazing and so helpful, thank you so much Juna🥰April
hey juna i am following your channel since i opened my shop.this videos are very helpful for me. Now i wanted to know that which print providor should i use for puff print shirt?please let me know
You can do the curved text in Canva. You just select the Font box, click Effects, then Shape, then Curve and use the slider to change the degree of the curve.
Nevermind. I see now that you were wanting to keep the ends vertical. In that case yes, you need to use Typecraft unfortunately. I know that Canva has bought design companies over the last few year, like Affinity, but they really need to integrate them and start making some big changes. Like when they bought Smartmockups. After 3 years, the mockups a still garbage and in no way comes close to competing with PlaceIt like they could!
@@DetourShirts I know. I realized that after my comment and I added an additional comment after I realized that’s what you were doing, but for some reason that comment isn’t showing up now. Thank you though
Hello Juna, new subscriber here. Love your videos and the way you share so much of your technique with everyone. I am starting my journey now and I wonder if you could explain if one has to knock off colors, mainly black, for black t-shirts when submitting designs to Amazon Merch or do you just upload the designs and everything comes out ok? I applied to Amazon, waiting on approval, and I could not find answers to this...thanks a million, and all the best to you! Thanks for the tips and techniques and all the best to you...
I think you mean do you need to remove the black background on your designs for black t-shirts.... the answer is yes. Remove the background and save your final design as a PNG with a transparent background so that the black shirt shows through.
Do you have a video explaining what the best overall font-color is to use in order to be able to use it on all colors t-shirts? Or can you give advice on it here, if no video is made? :)
I don't think there is one color that works on all colors... so I usually do a light version that works on dark colors and a dark version that works on light colors.
@@DetourShirts yup, that's what I started to do as well. And a third one with a sort of dark-gold text color - seems to fit both dark and light color tees. :)
Hello, new subscriber. A little off topuc, but i see on your website, you post to several platforms. My question is, can you share your workflow? Do you do it yourself,? Do you have "people"? I am struggling with, after designing, then i have to start the long process to get it uploaded to the difference platforms. I wonder if you have shortcuts or hacks? Thank you
I do it all myself. I don't use any apps or shortcuts. I probably should but I just focus on Amazon first, TeePublic next and then RedBubble. The other POD sites get uploads when I have a chance... sometimes once a month or less.
@8:52 you mentioned about the quotes. I have few questions surrounding that.... is it ok to use names, images, quotes and likeliness of celebrities like politicians, historical figures, freedom fighters, business personalities, etc. I know it's a bit different about movie stars or musicians. What about dead persons? Need help with this topic!!! Also wanted to add is it ok to play with brand names like for instance Dolce and Banana, Adidachs, etc
You can use presidents and quotes from over 100 years ago but stay away from celebrities, business personalities. You may get away with play on words of brands but you can't use their logos so I would stay away to be safe
Hey there, i hope you see this message. I was just wondering the best way to get rid of the white border around the image of the sticker. I have been using sticker whiz on your suggestion but have no idea how to get rid of that white outline. Is there a way around not having to put the white outline into the prompt?
Thank you for sharing this. You're the POD - Professor on Demand.

1. Merch Informer
2. Merch Dominator
3. Flying Research

Hi Juna do you have a tutorial on how to market your products on Amazon, I am trying to get more sales for my coloring books.
I just use Amazon ads.... I did a series a while back with Cameron from Merch Jar....ruclips.net/video/oENTojho1Pw/видео.htmlsi=ClQJCMFM_wJxp_Aa
Hi! I was just wondering what size font is best to start with ?
I kind of just eye ball it depending on how much text is in the designs. You want the final design to fill the shirt

Hello
can you use the free version of canva text for commercial use?
thanks for the reply
Yes, of course
hello Juna files received by redduble for example png does it have to be 300 dpi can any file
Follow the pixel dimensions they provide. 4500x5400 will fit most but to fit all I think it has to be something like 9500x9500 or something
First comment 😊
Thank you... you get this trophy🏆

Hi Juna, you made that video about teepublic marketing but for me that right click hack doesnt work? I have a mac and magic mouse?
Hmmmm..... You could try option + click
@@DetourShirts ok ill try that, also i started to do just screenshots and crop those and tomorrow i create pinterest post on canva from those.
What about the " ,La" desing?
You could do that but that only works for Kamala
Hello, if i stay in south Africa and on country and zip, can i write united state and what is the zip code.
You have to use your own
@@DetourShirts Okay thank you very much
Is the copyright issue, when I make same design for the print on demand.
If it's exactly the same there will be an issue.... if you change the words you should be fine.
Can a quote from a politician be banned from Teepublic and Redbubbles?
Not if the politician is running for or is the president of the United States.
How juna, how much smaller should you make tge font in 6
It doesn't really matter.... just eyeball it... but significantly smaller so that you can tell the difference
iv got infinity designer for free
Nice... I hope you like it
Just stay away from song lyrics. I've heard that can cause problems.
Oh yes.... no copyright phrases please... this video isn't about what words to use just how to lay them out
