As a warriors fan its so sad to see him go, but the Mavs have one of the best situations for Klay. Dude is gonna thrive there. I can't wait for him to drop 18-20 a night with all the open looks hes gonna get from Doncic n Kyrie. For 17m/yr its not like the Mavs are risking too much with that team friendly deal. More playoff success for the Mavs for sure
Initially, I didn't want Klay, especially for 25-30 million a year, but for 17 million a year, and all they lost was Josh Green!!? Sign me the F up! Welcome to Dallas Klay!
Happy for klay and this is sad to say but I’m now afraid curry’s career might end like Kobe’s a legend on a young team that’s not good enough to compete
Man , as a Mavs fan I’m so excited but why oh why did we have to give up Josh green , he had heart and passion for the team and only dude who showed up in game 5 of Celtics series
When you're a contending team you can't get attached to role players on your roster. I like Josh Green a lot but when you have the oppurtunity to pair one of the best catch and shoot guys ever next to Luka and Kyrie then you do it without question. Scared money don't make money, look at the Celtics they traded the supposed heart and soul of their team in Marcus Smart for Porzingis and ended up winning a championship.
People are going to worry about the defense but I don’t think it’s the worst problem in the world. I feel like Luka can be better off defending forwards with his height weight length and lack of speed combination. I will say that their bench lineup will probably need to clamp tf up.
Love you P, thanks a ton for making these vids for us asap because Kenny is lacking like crazy but i know he’s super busy and especially with his daughter.
so having the champions having the knick who have one of the best teams in the nba having the 76ers who have 3 stars 2 of which can play both sides of the floor and one can be the mvp having the bucks which although they werent that good tehy still have a top 5 player in the league and a top 20/25 player in the league having the heat which are not good in the regular season turn up in the playoffs and become one of the best teams in the nba not to mention the pacers who are building their team very well with one of the best point-guards in the league and pascal siakam and if you dont want to consider them dont forget that despite of the fact that they were swept they were a more dangerous team to the celtics than the finalists the dallas mavericks
For the Chris Paul situation, I heard on multiple podcasts that the warriors were looking to only guarantee a partial amount of it and then try and match whatever amount they guaranteed with whoever they’re targeting.
I don't agree with your sentiment klay wanted max money. The warriors said you aren't worth that and he didn't get max money. So he realized that he wasn't worth the money and left to spite golden state more than he left to win. Because you wanna win go join the Celtics for a vet min.
By resigning Draymond, GSW basically said yes we still want to win but we don’t think Klay Thompson is a part of us winning. They didn’t go rebuild or they wouldn’t have paid Draymond like P said. So it kinda was disrespect to Klay. Excited for this next season, seems like a lot of teams are gearing up to win now
JKidd, Nico. Please make sure Klay knows he's the 6man we've been needing and shouldn't expect more minutes or something like that 🙏. Idk how far Mavs will go but i trust what they are doing. Brilliant work so far with what they have. OKC, Wolves are looking like a force but hopefully Mavs can also be a force come next season.
Personally I don't get Klays perspective. Yes he has been a major piece for the warriors throughout the years but when we needed him most he didn't show up. Yes Draymond got paid but he was productive on the floor for us (off the floor is a different story). We offered him close to the contract he got this offseason to start the season this year and he declined to bet on himself. He didn't perform how he thought he would so he should not be getting another bag. He already had a big contract during the time he was injured and thinks the warriors aren't giving him the respect. I feel he isn't giving the warriors the respect but I hope he does well in Dallas. If he wanted paid and a place loyal to him he could've stayed. He wants to compete he just doesn't want to say that him and the warriors can't compete anymore.
The front office change is what started everything. He's a shooter shooters go off rhythm an if they are disrupted or feel out of place this can happen. Once Bob Meyers left that's when all the Klay narratives started. It was time for Klay to go he clearly wasn't comfortable there anymore watching all year he looked absolutely disgruntled and unhappy. That 0/10 is a overreaction I just think his time there was up and that team wasn't going to do anything in the playoffs respectfully lol
@@Jewbacabra Who could blame him he plays with a loudmouth named Draymond Green. Dude is annoying i wouldve done the same thing as him left and take less money and go to a better team.
Klay could leave and I’m glad he left we offered him low 20’s to stay but he thought that was disrespectful so now he goes to a team where what position is he gonna play.we paid him 40 million when he was injured and he played bad last year
underrated points : - Kyrie rehabilitated his image by playing in a smaller market with laidback media, and the national media always only focuses on what Luka does and doesn't do anyway - Mavs fans won't compare 34 years old Klay to prime Klay, they will compare him to who he's replacing. Playing 30min, scoring 18-20pts as the 3rd scoring threat from outside while being paid 17m is exactly what they needed out of THJ and he couldn't do.
Go watch naji highlights my dude. He's a better on ball defender specifically for wings like KD , Tatum, and LeBron. He's stronger than DJJ and just as long and did great guarding Shai in that first series. Grimes also a great defender who picks up 94 feet
Also Luka was hurt and carrying the entire load on the offensive end. The team outside of Luka shot 17% from 3 on open looks. Now the offense improves which will give Kyrie and Luka a break. They lost that finals because of the offense. 17% from 3 from the role players and DJJ was unplayable on offense josh green stole his min.
Kenny slacking rn yo 😂
Said he just got out of a successful medical procedure I believe
Oh shite I didn't know. Hope he recovers well 🙏🏽
He all good but he’s on the loopy drugs from it
He’s on the golf course recording for his new main channel 😂 (on the real though if it’s the medical thing glad it went well)
@@JTLuxxHDit’s not “if” he came out with a statement on his burner Twitter saying he had a health scare is still off the drugs 😭

Yessirrrrr mavs finally got an actual 3pt shooter

We got klay and ur complaining about Josh fucking green. He’s scared to have the ball most of the time
Because we have Jaden, grimes and naji plus exum there’s no room for josh. I think he’ll be the perfect player for Charlotte tho hope he blooms

@@baldyadam4043 Klay Thompson is horrible btw
@@NATUR3F33LS No, the player who averages 19 and attempts 9 3s a game on 38% is not horrible. Josh green on the other hand IS horrible
Essentially we swapped Josh green for Quentin grimes, similar players. We swapped THJ for klay. And DJJ for Naji
Naji is a really nice pickup for them too. Love it. Happy for the Mavs.
you quick with it 😂
Im appriciatw peopke like this thanks for the back ta back vids ts made me wanna comment on vids n i never do

The bench honestly looks the same defensively. Klay vs THJ defensively. Grimes vs Green defensively.
Time to grab some food and enjoy the show 🔥

Does anyone else see dancing shapes in the painting above and to the left of P’s head?
Dallas has trade exceptions as well. They may pass the trade exceptions to allow warriors to make more moves
remember mark is just a fan now he sold the team last season but ofc still heavily involved
Let’s goooo!!
Luka, Kyrie, PJW, Klay, Lively with the 3pt, ngl, it could be nasty.

Josh Green MIP?
sad kenny out but hopefully it gives p some more exposure
