Got it for my first car.I'm 6'4 "(195 cm) and gotta say man its really really good room-wise.Given the fact that its a 1.2 l petrol engine its power shines from around 3k rpm ,but again, its a small engine but it does pretty good on highways and in town its super nice.On twisty roads its really fun as well since the turning its nice and precise.I'm only 19 and got this when i was 18 after i've got my license, and now i'm sitting at around 250k km in total on the car,and 50k made by me in a year and almost half.Very reliable, the brakes are efficient, never got into an accident to this date cuz of those brakes and steering that are really good.I didnt drive any other car so the plastics and no soft touch materials never bothered me.Over all,if you are a parrent and eish to give a second hand car to your son or daughter as their first car, this is beyond perfect.Perfect for town and comuting, and it averages about 40 mpg for me,and i drive it pretty hard sometimes :).
Nice! I'm currently a learner driver. I've done a lot of lessons and will be taking my practical in the new year. I just bought this car yesterday. Don't see many of them around on the road. Nice to read a positive review about the Fox lol 🦊 I haven't driven it yet, but I'm looking forward to driving it.
Same here. Got it as first car and I can’t complain. Very solid, and as a tall person I really enjoy the space you have inside while you’re driving. Definitely a good choice for young people and new drivers
This was my first car 10 years ago (man time flies). I was super happy about it. I drove it every day for 2 years, back then i had my first job as a delivery man inside of a city. I even drove with this thing from germany to sweden and often slept in it. This video brought back a lot of great memorys, thank you
In Brazil this has the 1.0L TotalFlex engine and has around 70BHP, and the 1.6L TotalFlex engine with 101BHP on Gas and 104BHP on Ethanol. And here already has the new model. Greethings from Brazil and great video.
I've had two and they've both been great. Spacious, pretty fun to drive and always reliable. Never had any major problems with them and I do about 1,400 miles a month.
I always really enjoy the videos of you. Very good no nonsense comments about the cars you present. Keep on the good work. And no I'm not from Russia but from Holland.
everyone I know and have already taken with me in the speedster says great. The car looks so nondescript from the outside with its 55PS, but pushes 180 km / h on the highway and there is more than enough space in the back (but also have an adjustable back seat). The only problems he causes are window regulators, I have to replace the parts every year.
nice! i didnt even know this car is sold in europe and russia. so, after that, look for Fox Run, Highline or Pepper. is beautiful, but i preffer the Polo... VW Brazil dont sell Polo anymore, since 2011, i guess... we have some exclusives like Gol, Voyage, Saveiro and Fox.
the 2003-present Volkswagen Fox/ Volkswagen Lupo (2005-2009; Mexico) is assembled in São Bernardo do Campo, São Paulo (European version) São José dos Pinhais, Paraná, Brazil (Latin America) General Pacheco, Buenos Aires (Suran/SpaceFox/SportVan/Fox Plus)
I'm looking at either getting a Fox or a Polo. The Fox is ever so slightly larger than the Lupo however it has a much larger boot than a Polo. The Fox is in insurance group 1 compared to the Polo which are in Group 3 and up
Do the back seats lie down flat or at an angle, you could have showed this .I have a dog cage I need to put in the back,I need a flat surface, need to know x
not really. The licence plate bracket is German, so is the manual, but the number plate itself appears to be Беларусь (Belarus /Belorussia) since it contains BY as the country indicator. So one can assume that this car was exported from Germany to East Europe.
Is it a good beginner car? Im getting a used 08 and the insurance is much cheaper than a ford or vauxhall especially if i am going by myself. Im also 17 so yh
did anyone have any problems with the electric power steering on this car .got a 2010 one and intermitting fault with the electric power steering not working and going heavy.comes and goes .no check engine light either .could be anything and those electric power steering pumps are expensive.plus only got about 50k on the clock
It makes a pretty decent first car but it's not very fast at motorway speeds. Iv'e passed my test over 10 years ago and recently got one as a run around and it's nice enough really.
Our 3 Cyl Diesel is 2005+230.000km, very ok. with 4,1 l/Diesel/100km. With small tires and less Weight it would need 3,8l. But horrible SteeringPump and others was ruined on 140.000km and much Oxyde, perhaps nobody GREASED Things..
in depth? yet forget to mention these don't do well above 90 mph, burn piston rings like no tomorrow, make sure you do not miss oil change even by a week, they are chocolate things

Didn’t even know these existed, I love my golf this looks so cool.
Interesting fact: The fox translate in russian as "Лиса" and i agree with you Alex this car is very rare and unique from our country.
Good video my friend! I just bought a VW Fox 1.4 (2005)

Hello. Do you have the reference of the radio ??
not really. The licence plate bracket is German, so is the manual, but the number plate itself appears to be Беларусь (Belarus /Belorussia) since it contains BY as the country indicator. So one can assume that this car was exported from Germany to East Europe.

is that a 3 cylinder under the hood?
Is this a foreign car? The license plates don't look like the regular Russian plates.
do you know what the plates are from this VW
i just got one of these as a replacement courtesy car while my car gets repaired - i think i'm spoiled by my other car because it feels SO slow
qui fera plus pratique avec un si petit moteur, a part peugeot et son 206 ou citroen avec son c3?
cest un top petit budget
.
@vilebrequin
En mexico le faltaron muchas cosas incluso en la versión más equipada
might buy this as a first car. Looks just up my street.
QuasarBarkas I wanting this as a first car too.
It's a brilliant car. I've got one as my first and it's always a joy.
It makes a pretty decent first car but it's not very fast at motorway speeds. Iv'e passed my test over 10 years ago and recently got one as a run around and it's nice enough really.
@Daniel Edwards It's actually one of those cars that's light and fun to fling around but the acceleration and speed is its weak spots.
it wars my first car ever
nice

So wired a left hand drive. Imagine changing gear with your right hand 😮
It’s weird I’ve never heard a right hand driver say this 😂
Garrett Sludge 🤣🤣
We should have these little shitty cars in the US too
Your obese population could not fit in these German masterpieces
The VW UP looks so much better than the Fox
for girls mainly yes
lol....this car delivers pizza in our city :)
Bicłayed plis

From Belarus? Ok thanks!
The interior looks different from brazilian model.
The export version has a different finish and more security equipment. But still a crap for their standards.
some design is similar the vw up
This fox is so basic that it makes mine look like a Mercedes Maybach
Дядя, а где русский тест?
why its so thirsty m8 ?
my mates nans got one of those
telescopic steering on city car!!!
Ha
👍👍👍👍
The Fox is so bland compared to the Lupo it replaced
This car is so overpriced it's horrible. Same with the up!
This dull video puts me to sleep
Very rare and very ugly.
It's like trying to find a song with 'bat-faced girl' in it
SwPiotrek fuck off. Its good car.
The seats are a bit Gay pride supporting or is it just me?
Its just you, clearly an idiot.
This car sucks big time. VW admits it only place it sells is South-America. My diesel is more quite then this engine.
In South_American dont use thos engine :)
Just 1.0 4L, 1.0 3L, 1.6 8v 4L and 1.6 16v 4L
Hans Vogel
And Diesel 1.9 SDI
Cristian Hc Not in Brazil. We dont use diesel cars. Then are bad to planet.
Hans Vogel People are bad to the planet.
psu893 people and diesel.
