Well, I'm a part of the "younger generation" (Z) but I've always loved watching this movie since I was a child, it's so funny honestly; I don't think Norbit "reintroducing" Norbit would be a war crime :)
My oldest sister had shown this to her sons before and they enjoyed it very much. So I don’t think it’s a bad thing.
Part of the younger generation, saw this movie when I was wayyy younger and it's really been a memory at the back of my head until now.
Rasputia did a lot for Norbit defended him from bullies and had him picked for teams. Little Rasputia was cute and hilarious her brothers corrupted her though.
It's like the older they got the more abusive she was to him. Cuz here's the thing, kids are assholes by nature and sometimes when they have a crush on someone, they tend to tease them. I think that's how it was when they were kids.

This movie is awesome but it would be so cute to have Rasputia being funny, sassy and just not toxic and actually caring about her husband
I think it would have been possible if she didn't hit him or if she did it was playfully, if she never cheated on him, locked him up, and lied to him about her pregnancy. It could have worked. Also if she didn't go around running dogs over. Then Rasputia would had been a likeable and funny character.
