The one thing he insisted upon was that a chains length was dictated by the wearers hight. T bar's were worn on the outside if they were decorated or had gems on the ends of the bar. Also if the person was left handed the watch would go in the right hand pocket, and instead of a T bar the chain would end in a large spring clip or a shepherds hook.
