    Thank you Rob and Allan for helping Jason and Jen out! Glad you were safe and sound from working on the roof! It looks so good! by the time the garage gets completed for the most part, now you can park your tractors and tools in there! Will there be a half second floor for additional space?

    Binge watched almost all of your videos in the past few days. There’s not many creators here in Maine. Your production quality is excellent and it’s only a matter of time before your channel blows up.

      We tried to make it work but ultimately decided it’d be better to shorten the rafters. Without the fascia, our future plans with the garage will go easier 😉 Stay tuned! Thanks for the comment and support! 😊

    Don’t beat yourself up over a lesson that you’ve now learned the hard way. At the end of the day it’s the lesson that really matters right ? Younger me : achieve whatever the goal is and not pay attention so much to things that can be learned. Old ass me : enjoy the damn process and stare at it ! Think about it ! Work through the next steps before you start this no brainer step ! Doing what you’re doing and where you are this process will be repeated more than once. Enjoy the process and think ahead and then act. Stare at it ! Then act and move forward. I comment like it’s a personal text. 🙄😳😎😂 take care Jason

      I can’t tell you how many times I’ve said that very thing to myself 🤦‍♂️ But, it’s ok, we’re still moving forward and getting this thing built. I appreciate your straightforward honesty. It’s not about the destination but the journey… Thank you for the kind words and support! 😊

    You will have no regrets about building a garage, BUT, please put in strong cross ties between the side walls. With a heavy snow load those walls could bow out. Not meant as negativity, just an old mainer who is not afraid to share lessons learned from my own mistakes. I enjoy your videos, looks like we should be able to make a Mainah out of you yet!

    Professional carpenters screw things like that up all the time.
    There are two statements for woodworkers.
    Measure once, cut twice
    Or
    Measure twice, cut once
    You chose

    • @HanbleceyaRanch
      @HanbleceyaRanch  3 месяца назад

      I’d like to say…measure twice, cut once but with this build taking as long as it has and the fact that winter is knocking….feeling rushed you make mistakes (at least more than usual). 👍
