    "Belief is a part of social influence, it has no existential significance". Perfect

    • @zackbeni9215
      @zackbeni9215 4 года назад +3

      Brother, before you appreciate things and even call them perfect, you must deeply think.
      The person here who derogatory called belief to be something of "no existential significance" is ironically himself a stern and firm believer! Cause what then are his ideas of molding and establishing a culture of peace which he admits will take a long time? don't they exhibit a belief in the possibility or feasibility of such a thing and belief in the concept of peace itself?(see his video on Adolph Hitler) what about his statement that he is a small spark in the sheer colossal universe? isn't this itself a belief in the existence of the universe or cosmos, belief in its largeness? He certainly can't affirm he absolutely knows it is large since he hasn't yet seen or experienced, as he is wont to call it, the whole of the universe later on went out of his confinement, planet earth.
      He even believes to an extent that his listeners are able to comprehend what he says otherwise he wouldn't bother to say anything if he considered the contrary to be true. He definitely can't affirm that he absolutely knows that they are understanding since he is unable to see how his words are being perceived in the minds of each individual
      . Does belief still seem to be of no "existential significance"?
      Now I am certainly not an opponent of all Sadghuru's sayings, but what would be the use of following a man who disbelieves in the possibility of what he teaches and proposes?
      A man who calls belief to be of "no existential significance" while it is the contrary and ironically while he himself is a stern believer?
      Now he can be hostile to "Religious beliefs" which with all fairness he indubitably lacks understanding of, but certainly not against the "Concept of Belief" itself. Belief is essential to existence predominantly owing to the limitations of a human's perceptions.
      Take that which is wise and helpful to your advancement from him but certainly don't assimilate whatever he utters! For some of these can be truly illogical and unthoughtful.

    • @user-qp6vg9ho8u
      @user-qp6vg9ho8u 4 года назад +9

      Zack Beni the word ‘belief’ is from the English language. It is nothing more than a word. Does this word have existential significance in itself without belief that it means something?

    • @zackbeni9215
      @zackbeni9215 4 года назад

      @@user-qp6vg9ho8u are you not wise enough to know that a word represents an idea behind rather than itself? we are not concerned with the etymology of a word but with the idea that the word itself represents or holds. A word is a shell, the idea is the seed. The shell gives and exhibits the image of the seed within.
      If you reflect well, even on your question here, you will find how essential belief is to existence. Belief really boils down to acceptance of an idea as true without absolute knowledge of its truthfulness. Absolute knowledge appertains to the Omniscient Being and Only Him can KNOW absolute facts.
      You exhibited belief in this manner. First, by believing there is such a thing as existence later on existential significance. secondly by believing, you are able to comprehend what is written, that is, that you have the requisite faculties to enable you to judge what was written. Without going farther, all these things you can't know absolutely that they are true. They are things assumed to be true for the sake of existence which is also assumed or believed to be true. Isn't it?

      @@TheRforravi I wonder how the to be student will judge his so-called guru's ability to enlighten him, having abandoned his logical mind in his presence!
      You may be right in asserting that I don't know what a guru is well at least your idea of a guru! But I have a clue of what True Religion is. And that, this self-professed guru, doesn't at all understand. He is only aware of the shell or the corrupt exoteric part of Religion which all unlearned and vulgar people-it being the only one they can access- are wont to mistake with the True, Pure or esoteric Religion. its product always being division and strife since it of course doesn't resemble anything closer to God since this only appertains to the Esoteric or Inner Religion. Such a dividing part I am of course not against criticizing it but I would be antagonistic to those who only see it as the only part to Religion.
      Moreover, i know of Mysticism- The study of All Being or God since He is All that is. And thus knowing that True, Inner or Esoteric Religion belongs to the realm of Mysticism, and having seen that the self-professed guru here doesn't comprehend it, he can't therefore be a Mystic if the word be truly understood as was considered by the wise of old. A word whose other synonym is Spiritualist. Now if a Guru be taken to mean a highly initiated Religious and spiritual guide of Souls towards achieving the goal of being One with ATMAN, how is one ignorant of Inner Religion and Spiritualism to be called so?
      It is because these- Mystic, Spiritualist, Guru- as all words, are bound to have many significations attached to them by those ignorant of their genuine meaning not to mention being exploited by fools to attract the ignorant mass.
      Thus, you don't become a Guru, Mystic or Spiritualist by assuming these names because these are just mere words, You must exhibit the qualities, characteristics and faculties appertaining to them. You can't possibly think you become something by merely assuming its name!

    • @zackbeni9215

      @@TheRforravi Brother I presume and hope you are not here calling Sadghuru the expert of Inner Religion because that would be a disgrace to the True Religion. I am indeed a disciple of Christ Jesus and I am fervently learning and adhering to his Mystical Teaching to aid me reunite and at-one with my Divine Parents in Heaven within.
      And such Inner Truth from our Teacher of Righteousness, my friend, for us who can perceive well, is NO WHERE to be found in this self-professed guru.
      This has nothing to do with respect but for the ignorant there is no Knowledge. You must learn in order to judge well and have a perfect acumen. There is a huge difference respectively between an Occultist and Mystic, an Adept of Occultism and a Christ, a Teacher of the lower triangle and a Teacher of the upper triangle of the Seal of Solomon(Hexagram). Occultism alone CAN NOT take a Soul to the Upper Realm within, her rightful abode.

You need to realize the fact that your true nature is the Emptiness which is beyond any imagination. Nothing can stick on your true nature, your true nature is untouchable. You are earlier than your mind because your mind is yours; what is yours cannot be you. Go to the place prior to the knowledge and speak from that place which cannot be known.

    • @SSingh-qd6ie
      @SSingh-qd6ie 4 года назад

      Legionary Armada Thank you for your reply. What you need to realize is you are earlier than your body, mind, emotions and breath. In reality, this body world and whole universe exist within mind that is why Buddha said, ‘mind is everything’. Because you need to you realize mind as mind than you can go prior to body; because body exists within mind, and you are prior to your mind; because it is yours. What is yours cannot be you - engrave this as deep as you can in your mind... chant like your mantra -
      Remember the fact that you and awareness CONNOT co exit.
      The body happens within awareness, and fact is you are nothing but awareness alone. You are watching all activities of your own mind right now in this moment, and you are aware of it, aren’t you?. And you say need to do this and that?. You are neither this nor that. Everyone needs to go through this vicious cycle over and over to realize the fact that there is nothing to be realized because you are nothing yet everything which is the nature of the consciousness. Consciousness and awareness are one and the same, there is no separation.

    When we disconnect the senses of the mind and body we understand life differently. This is what happens when we open the 3rd eye. His answers are walking a fine line between those worlds. If he was to explain more of why he says what he says he'd lose people in the details. People on the path understand without more need for explanation because they have the background understanding.

    This is magical interview.... if we look carefully at each individual, they are all mystified by why the great Ghuru of Wisdom is saying..... we have to understand this is a live short interview for a general tv audience, therefore the Great Ghuru cannot go into deep detail about everything, but he masters the gift of setting the tone and keeping intrigue, for anyone interested in knowing more, to dig deeper. My favourite moment is when the lady in long blond hair and pink jacket asks if Belief is not the solution, then what is the solution? My answer to that is , what is the problem? we only need a solution when there is a problem. The Ghuru never never said there was a problem in the first place. Belief comes from faith, which is completely separate to Religion. Religion is a human concept designed to control populations and keep people in order, as the Ghuru said, most people would find it hard to manage themselves without religion, so in that sense, religion serves a purpose. Faith is something that does not need a religion to validate it. even atheists believe in something, we all believe in something. Because this is at the core of our consciousness. The consciousness is what makes us, each one of us, ourselves, it lives through our physical bodies temporarily, and then continues to live beyond our physical bodies, when they perish. As we live through this life here, each moment counts, each present moment counts because our life with a physical body is privileged, yet temporal, lets make it count. Lets invest it wisely, because ultimately, the only thing we take away from the physical world with us, is Meaning, nothing else. We can find Meaning in everything, even in the smallest Hut, on the other hand, we find people who are Billionaires and their lives have no meaning, they kill themseves. Physical possessions may be fun to have, but they do not equal to Happiness. Happiness, cannot be strived for, it happens naturally, effortlessly, when you find your Meaning.

Let us first accept the inability of ourselves to accept that not everybody will be on the same page. The interviewer had a very genuine question as to why in general gurus keep beards. No harm in asking so.. is there?
