@@sebastianmoradi4311 Modern ferraris are definitely back on their game. From Vin wiki and other related channels, it has become more apparent that other cars are not much different. We have seen with Car Wizard, simple failures on a Ford F150 costing more to fix than Hooptie Ferraris.
It mostly seems to be now just price of parts on performance spec models. Carbon brakes or older manumatic transmissions. Some of them repair bills? I think to myself about my ten year old hatchback (astra) that has had more problems despite full dealer servicing since new and taken care of. Many thousands of dollars.
Service vs MSRP cost of car? My Astra is far worse than any exotic seen on the Car Trek network of tubers. By MSRP of car? My Astra is worse than the Hilton SLR repair video.
Side humor? I dont have anything exotic myself, but I can relate to the sentiment. I wanted to pick up a new (am sure Ed cringes at thought of buying new) car for summer fun and nice weather shows. But so frustrated by reliability of most nice cars in my bracket? I didnt choose Camaro, or Mustang, or Type R, or 3 series BMW or an A class Merc.
My ride I got for drives in the sun and shows? I got a V6 Camry. I love how they compare to Camry so often. "Best luxury car for price of a Camry? A Camry"

I just wanted to say I’ve been watching your videos for several years now and love learning about the exotic world of cars. I know there are several cars in a similar price point as the scud that will get you what you are looking for in performance, technology, comfort….. ect. I think a car that you would never consider due to the fact the car will lose value over time but you should look into it is a C8 Corvette Hard Top Convertible and this car has everything you are looking for in your next car at 1/3 the cost and the features on the car with the GT2 Bucket Seats are amazing with the mid engine it gives you the stability on the road and driving through the country roads are amazing. Rare but they exist. Even though it's newer, the 458 is probably the most common Ferrari with over 100k miles since those are pretty bulletproof mechanically. Those high mile cars rarely hit the market though because usually they are bought new or lightly used and then daily driven by one person for several years. I think the craziest high mileage Ferrari out there is the Enzo with 95k miles on it out in Utah or somewhere.

Compared with Porsche I find that the Italians are rarely used as daily drivers and if it’s the case it comes with huge maintenance costs. The 458 is a great car but it comes with a lot of issues if you opt to daily drive it. In any case Porsche has changed the game in terms of reliability as only Lexus has a higher customer satisfaction rating. I’ve known a few Ferrari who daily drive their cars. All but one was the owner of the Ferrari shop. The other bought a new Ferrari every 2 years.
Ferrari simply does not have the R&D to make a true sports car that one can daily drive without a huge investment in repair and maintenance.

That’s the exception not the rule.Ferraris are notoriously unreliable and very expensive to maintain. Secondly unless it’s in the Deep South or in he southwest it’s not a car you can daily drive all year. Lastly those who know the character of these models know that Ferraris owners don’t put many miles on their cars. Their reliability is terrible as a daily driver.

I can't imagine letting a car like that go even with the 3 Murcie's. The F355 is still my fav, but the F430 has grown on me and the Scud is the one to have. The Gray over Red is a Great color combo as I have my M3 like that.

Ed I think you would like a 991.2. I love my touring but for less money you can have one with a wing!!

I’d say an 812 Superfast would be a great next Ferrari

Who would put money on Ed getting a TDF? It’s the only thing with the rarity and “specialness” I can picture Ed driving other than a Bugatti, which is honestly a little boring to look at (I’m sure it’s epic to drive).
