Best strategy to sales is never sound excited, just sound peaceful.. it makes people feel comfortable, not sold.. even if the customer is not satisfied with the product they won't feel ripped off.. this is based on person experience from both sides.. I do sales and my metrics are consistently high month after month year after year. Get straight to the point and make it make sense

I have 5 demos a day each ranges from 40mins to hour plus. 75% of my calls without fail end up talking about things that have nothing to do with my call. About 5 mins of non sales talk takes place mixed into the call. I don’t consciously do this it just happens. I’m also the highest percent close rate of all sales people in my company and have the highest paid deals than anyone each month. Leads are all similar. I don’t get more or less. I think people forget that although sales has a structure, you can break it and be a friend and show your interested in the sale, but also interested in them and you show passion but not over the top and show that you care. I actually care about the person I’m talking with. Doesn’t matter if my zoom camera is on or off. Try to actually care about the person on your next day of calls see if that doesn’t improve your close rate.
Sell without being that salesman sales guy be the person you’d like to sell to you and you’ll sell more and get better because you’ll actually start enjoying it.

Maybe you can help me. How do you relinquish the fear of having clients or leads see you as an annoying nuisance. I know how people feel about sales reps. But other sales reps are successful despite this, which I can be, too. It’s the fear of pissing off people for just calling. What’s a better perspective I can ingrain on my mind to help me push past this block?
Difference in your approach to what’s above is the differing sales situation. One is cold calling and the other is appointment based. Both approaches work for their respective situations.
Never let the client to lead the call. You must lead him/her step by step to the result that you want to get!

Yes is right but at the end of the day the only important things is close the sale and not who lead the call beacuse if you are prepared enough on what are you selling and you are able to answet to all the costumer's question you will sell too even if the costumer lead the call with many question

I get the concept of these role plays and I can see how and where they would work but real life conversations just don’t happen like that lol. People don’t want cheesy one liners, nor do they want to be sweet talked when they’re genuinely busy.

I don’t even remember role playing when I first started lol, my broker gave me an example as a script and I went on the phone my first day , called people and changed my script as I went. I asked questions, kept calling and learned that way lol. Learned how to rebuttal naturally, just throw yourself in the mix.

The best sales advice is not appear to be a salesman. It's the way you talk and act. People want to know they are talking to real people, not people who are trying to sell them something. If you go above and beyond, it will go a long way with people and put their guards down. People buy from people they like.
