hi, again. I have a question about the occupancy grid. I don't want to use lidar sensors in mapping on a sea autonomous surface vehicle. I want to use 3 cheap cameras, GPS, IMU, and distance sensors. I will gather all data that comes from these sensors. A global cost map is created by using Google Maps data. after creating a local cost map and updating it every 10 Hz with these data and image processing techniques. After that, I use the Nav2 package for autonomous navigation. Can you evaluate that process whether reasonable and usable or not? I trust in your knowledge. Thanks a lot.

I just finished watching your video and I am blown away by how helpful it was! The information you shared is so valuable and I learned so much. I especially appreciated the clear explanations. Thank you for taking the time to create this video, it will be a great resource for me.

    Hello sir,
Taking time in creating this video series is much appreciated, I am a UG student trying to build a fully autonomous bot from scratch, have gone through a quite a bit of material online but none was really helpful(maybe I have a lot to learn yet), I just started with this video series hopefully it would help me, with that if you could help me out with your guidance and other recommendations, it would be of great help.
thank you for this amazing content.

Would you be able to use this map with nav2_bringup navigation? I see that navigation is not launching because there is no map frame, I'm guessing we dont have a map to odom transform. How would you go about this?

you can perform navigation on this map
      but nav2 requires more things
odom fram with map as well
