Wish the DLC had more playable stages in the main game
That would have been cool too, personally I’d sacrifice some of the character roster for more levels. But at least with this new mode when you finish the main story you have a sorta endless mode to team up with friends with. I really enjoy the crystal collecting and random power ups in it too. But I seriously bet that at some point we’ll get a sequel and that’s where a brand new story mode will come into play. Thanks for watching and the input!

Hopefully they'll make some more DLC content down the road if this does well enough. I'm loving what they've given us, but some new main levels would be a welcome edition.
Arcade mode is plenty long. Never guranteed to finish a run.
Dude, the cameos were worth it in the DLC. I recognized all of the characters that showed up, including the ones from the toy line. Glad they did this.😊
The cameos really are the star of the show, because it's just so fun looking in the background to see who is going to show up! I'm glad they dug so deep for the cameos as well.
The "mutant cat" is Jagwar from Archie Comics TMNT Adventures, so it's an even more deep cut Easter egg.

RIP Jagwar and all the other ones.
Not just background easter eggs but skin easter eggs are also great. You've got 90s movie skins, 2003, 2012, Rise of TMNT (2018) and so on.
I agree 👍 I was annoyed looking for the playable DLC thinking I had to beat the game then select DLC missions.
Love the fact you can play as the new Characters in the main story mode as well as the DLC mode...
So much to appreciate about the DLC. It was super cool seeing other iconic characters in those backgrounds. Being able to play as the villains, even though temporary, is hands down the best addition within that survival mode

The cat isn’t Scratch, it’s Jagwar. He was around in the comics when Raph had the all black suit in the late 80s/early 90s, he was in a comic I had as a kid back then.
Evidently I just never came across Jagwar until after making this video, lol. I'll have to go back and do some reading on him! Thanks for the comment!
This DLC is worth it. Wish there were more characters but Usagi and Karai are good additions.
They might end up adding a few more for free in the future because that's what they did with the base game as well. We can hope at least!
I know it would be expensive but i wish they could create a dlc campaign with the shredder's revenge flavored..

Stages and cutscenes redrawn and with the entire gameplay enhancements and availability of Shredder's revenge (and just put irma or verne in places where April and/or Splinter are captive in the old games)
Oh man that would be AWESOME!! Sadly it would be a ton of work for the developers, plus the rights to each game and would be very expensive. But it would really be cool if they did!
I bought the dlc, then i bought the game+dlc for our second system so we can play on both and to support this amazing company!!

I was just going to play in "Usagi's original attire,but I also really like his orange one as well. I like the gold tie and trimmings. It looks so classy. And his taunts. Karai original and most colorful vibrant suits are perfect. I also love the soundtrack. Awesome video "Ogles 🎉👍
They really did a great job with both characters and the different costumes they can use too! And the new OST songs are wonderful, I really liked the 8-bit level one. Thanks for watching!

There are actually some powerups that are detrimental, actually, such as the Raphael face and the band-aid powerups. They are actually harmful if you get them, so you should avoid them if possible.
Pizzaface was in an ep of TMNT 2012 but he was a man who mutated into a pizza. Season 2 EP19 "Pizza Face".
Such a weird concept! I haven't seen much of the 2012 series, but I'll have to look that episode up!
First of all. My daughter and I are having a blast with survival mode.
This TMNT game could be the greatest of all time with more DLC.
The music on this DLC should have been present in the game in the first place,

It really is so much fun! And a great game for the whole family too. And the OST isn't talked about alot but the new songs they added are great. And hopefully more DLC for sure!

I would’ve like to seen a character battle mode and an option to cancel out supers completely in arcade mode. Casey and Donnie players always overuse theirs and clog up the screen.
One of the great things of the survival mode is that it’s so fast paced and unforgiving that no one has time to taunt really, you have to earn your supers for the most part.
Character battle mode would have been pretty awesome, almost like the old school tournament fighter to a degree. Maybe they'll do something like that in the future!
As far as I know, Pizzahead WAS in an episode, just one that never aired.
Btw. can you use the new characters for normal story mode too?
I had no idea! I'll have to search out that lost episode!! And yeah, you can use them in the regular story mode as well!
Help! I've been playing this game on Nintendo Switch and my son and I can't find how to change the color palette on the characters. When you select a character, a small box that should appear, doesn't. Does any one else have this problem?
I haven't seen this issue myself and that's what I'm playing on. Maybe uninstall the game and reinstall it? If that doesn't work, perhaps contact the developer on social media to ask them? Hope you can get it going!

how do u get those vintage skins at the start of the video? do you have to unlock them?
Alot of the skins have to be unlocked by playing survival mode.
Wrong Cat, Scratch is the one that hangs out with the birds in the 8-bit stage. They are from an one off Archie Story, issue 27 or volume 7 of the collections.

I have the physical copy of TMNT, purchased the DLC but it won't let me play survival mode or with the hidden characters.
Oh no! I'm not sure what would cause that! Usually DLCs are compatible with physical and digital copies. Maybe reach out to the developers by email or social media to ask? Hope you can get it going!
That’s weird. I have a physical copy and it worked for me. Maybe restart your console and then start the game up? There’s an update as well, have you downloaded that?

The DLC was definitely worth getting for the price, and know couldn't ask for THAT much more out of it. I know extra stages, and what not obviously would have been nice to have, and all too. But I'm sure a possible sequel will take care of that, and then some too. The only real puzzling thing was that they added no new achievements/trophies which you could acquire as was widely expected like they usually do for stuff like this, for better or worse though.
I'm with ya man, extra levels and such would have been nice, but with the success of this game, they have to be planning out a sequel to it at some point. And wonder why they didn't do trophies? I was playing the Switch version so naturally it never does trophies, lol. Thanks for the input!

@@Ogles I know, especially since games with added on content, and DLC always would as far as I know. Streets of Rage 4: Mr. X's Nightmare being one example of this. Granted it's kind of a relief in a way that I won't have to do any further work with getting trophies when I'll have other stuff to do anyway. But it would have been nice to add onto my collection when it came to that once more, which I obviously won't get the chance to do from this though.

It is bittersweet seeing some of the characters because as much as you love seeing them, you also know the likelyhood they will appear in future character drops is low. But we can still hope!

So no new achievements/trophies?
From seeing other comments I don't think so; however, I'm playing it on the Switch so I never got achievements/trophies to begin with, lol. Nintendo needs to do better in that aspect for their next console.
I honestly felt like this was a big let down. 2 new characters is cool but this doesn't advance the game much. In about a week the game will be dead online again. New levels, more characters, expand the story and lore. New mechanics and attacks, new enemies are also needed.
It pretty much went the same way as streets of rage 4 which is not a bad thing although streets of rage 4 took like 15 months to make but still not bad

I would assume it's all one in the same because mine didn't get me an offer for anything except the DLC. And it being roughly the same price I'd think you bought the DLC. See if there is a survival mode on there. Hope this helps!

I was kinda disappointment there were no real new levels. Just a new survival mode and 2 characters. I was like done in 10 minutes with this dlc. All this hype around this dlc and we get barely anything.

They need more moves and complexity to execute them is one of the cornerstones of becoming a better player game has so much more potential but i think the developers are either lazy or underestimate us as players… i am grateful for this but i want more moves and combos that require skill to do idk maybe add in a combo system much like the one in mk3 and trials like any fighting game nowadays that b awesome but i doubt that will happen sometimes i wish i was rich just so i could make my own game this is a step tho
I got an unpopular opinion here:
2 new playable characters + a survival mode, that is all the DLC has, not even full playable bosses besides their randomized cameo versions that may or may not last a round.
As it seems, they got a bit lazy compared to the kick ass Streets of Rage DLC they dropped last year, with a new move set for all 5 main character + all 13 classic characters + the 3 additional characters which also came with double move sets as well. Also the fighting in this new survival mode is no different than single player, sure you get to play as Schredder for a round or 2 but come on! No elements/weapons , and hardly any modifiers/hazards. I do not criticize the price, but this DLC will die quickly, it is incredibly underwhelming. And the very second you rank up your favorite characters to lvl 10 in the survival, I don't think most people would be returning to the game
I think it'll wear off for casuals pretty quickly. Some gamers may stick with it a bit longer. There's a 4th unlockable called Dimension Skip which raises the difficulty setting up to 6 times in Survival. There might be a handful of videos about that in the future. Honestly, the magic of cameos wears off pretty fast. And I only played it for two days. My objectives is just to unlock the all the colors. But after that what's next? Fully playable bosses would've been nice. I really think its the TMNT name that's doing the most lifting.

I've got this game. It's pretty boring and limited. Street of rage 4 is so much better. I'd rather play that, avp, or sengoku 3 as far as beat em ups go.
In fact, this game isn't much better than tmnt tit. It's pretty good as far as beat em ups go, but not great. Doesn't belong in the upper echelons of beat em ups.

Was hoping actual expansion to the arcade levels. I guess for 8 dollars its fine. At least it looks better than the awful Double Dragon game that recently came out. That game was a ripoff.
Pay 8$ for 2 characters and no achievements .. eh I’m all let already got every achievement so the replay is dead to me
