Nobody throws away riffs like Kanami. She’ll play more in a couple songs than another band might put in a whole album. She’ll play one once, and you’ll never hear it again. You have to have such confidence in your creativity to do something like that.
More peeks into an important, transformational group known as Band-Maid. Three things I think new fans will find fascinating with this group; 1) the deeper you dig, the more you'll appreciate the members authenticity, writing and musical sensibilities; 2) your favorite song will generally be the one you're currently listening to. Note: This is a distinctive phenomenon with Band-Maid. For example, listen to "Moratorium" and then “Puzzle. Which is your favorite?; and 3) why does it seem they have no bad songs? Band-Maid has plenty of bad songs, according to one of their interviews. It's just that they threw them all in the dumpster and only released 140 or so of their most awesome songs. This disciplined integrity is one of the things that keeps them at the top of the rock pile. Thx, Charlene!
Charlene, thank you for reacting to this great rock song by Band-Maid. If you read the lyrics in English, you will understand the premise of the song. After this, you now need to react to the acoustic version of "Puzzle" with only Kanami and Saiki performing. It will break your heart.
Loved this song the first time I heard. Eventually I read the lyrics (I know, it's the way I am) and they're even really good. It truly is a masterpiece of songwriting and performance.
Great reaction, Charlene, subbed! "Both heavy, and beautifully crafted." Yeah, you've figured the Maids out here. I get exactly the same sort of tension and release that they create every song. Looking forward to more Band-Maid reactions from you. 😄 Note that you have a slight audio to video synch problem on the playback in your video here, just a heads-up.
Where to go next? Without a playlist I had to search a bit. You’ve done “Domination,” “Show Them,” “Choose Me,” and this one. As someone who grew up on The Saturday Night Special and MTV, I’m sending you back to Retro-Maid. “Take Me Higher” from way back in 2017. They’d been playing together for only about three years. If Slash and Flea were Japanese girls, this is what it would sound like ruclips.net/video/UocYF6DbRls/видео.htmlsi=ZH4Ue0dhdxAd-cUt

'Awkward' is another great song for Kanami throwing away riffs like they've gone out of fashion. Very different song to Puzzle but eaqually great.

Whether here or on your own, you really should check out the live acoustic version of Puzzle. Saiki offers a different expression of pain.

👍👍🤘🤘💙💙
For a different sound, try BEFORE YESTERDAY (OMV), and SECRET MY LIPS (OMV). Both on BAND-MAID’s channel.
It's a 'pigeon hole'...for a band that can't be pigeon-holed 🤔 Don't worry about avian logic...just keep Maid Rockin 👌🤘🤘🤘🕊
How you doing tonight
Have one for you! Goldie Hill & Justin Tubb ( Looking back to See ) It's an old live black and white video version.
Yes. That is coming up this weekend. Can’t wait! 🤗
