- You Need an Audio Interface with more than 2 outputs. Preferably with 2 Headphone ports.
I'm using a Focusrite Claret 8 Pre USB: amzn.to/3Scz80V

Finally got the video i was looking for !! Thank You So Much !! ( Suggestion : Add term "CUE MIX" in the title to find easily as the feature you explained is called the same. )
Thanks so much brother! I had to separate the actual track from the click and cue and wasn´t even sure if it was possible in FL. Your channel deserves a follow and definitely more likes! Much love from Germany brother

what if you have only one headphone jack in your audio interface?
This is only for interfaces with at least 2 audio jacks
What if you're screen recording in OBS, how do you make sure OBS only records the audio of 1 and 2 and not 1,2,3 and 4?
Very interesting that an artist wouldn't want to listen to the all the sounds. What's the reasoning behind that? Just curious.
many rappers find it distracting to have a million sounds going on while rapping, its simpler if you just have for example the main melody hihats and snare or something, its personal preference
Yep! Basically that!
@@OmoiSenpai any price friendly($250-$350) , good quality PREAMP suggestions for my NT1>Scarlett 2i2 2nd Gen > Logic setup ? ( Rap Vocals )
Thank. You Justin . One question how I can turn off my FOCUSRITE Scarlett 2i4 with all outputs and inputs without touching them ??
No problem.
There is no ON or OFF switch on the audio interface, It will stay on. If you wish to switch to using a different sound card, then you can left click the sound icon ( on windows 10 ) and click the down arrow to select another output.
Either that, or when the computer is off, the device should turn off as well ( since the power is off )
Maybe you can disable it in the device manager, but that would be a bit of a hassle to deal with.
@@OmoiSenpai so I can just turn off the computer and that's it ?? I'm sorry but I don't have anyone from them but I want to know what I can to do for this problem !!
why cant i find the output in the mixer
What if I have 2 audio interface with single outputs 🤣
If I can’t use an amp to get it done how else then? I got the Steinberg 22 mk2 and That only has 1 jack.
thank u!
Bro nice explanation
Can yu make it for reason 12
I'm using 18i8 focusrite 2nd generation.
Thanks ^_^
Unfortunately, I do not use Reason, last time I used that DAW was in college in 2013 or so, so I definitely can't remember how.
bro u helped me so much. can you use an out put as your headphone jack?
Glad I can help!
If you only have 1 headphone jack on your audio interface, you won't be able to use it as a separate out. Out 1-2 will be the headphone, and the monitor out 1-2.
@@OmoiSenpai thankx my g
My album just dropped yesterday on all platforms. Give it a listen
Would a focusrite scarlett solo 3rd grn Usb good for this?
on the right hand side, I have nothing below the equalizer.
Your method is indeed is easiest one to setup multiple speakers.
But what if I have some instrument/sample, that I DON'T want to route to mixer track. In that case, that sample will not gonna played in Headphone track as they are routed to master by default.
You don't want to route everything to mixer. But this method forces us to do this.
Please help me as I'm facing this problem and didn't find any solution on google
(I don't have an interface with me, and so relying on basic soundcard)
Hey!
By default, if the sound is not set into the Mixer's Inserts, it will go straight into the Master. If you do not wish to give the sound any mixing/ effects. Then still, throw it into the Mixer, and set the routing accordingly. Nothing will be changed by sending the sound into the Mixer, unless you adjust the mixer's functions.
If there is a sound that you don't want to be played into the headphones, then you can cut the routing from the headphone's portion, so that it will not be played in the headphones, but instead, will go into the OUT that is set in the Master
I hope that helps!
@@OmoiSenpai yeah I'm actually doing the same. Then I thought there could a better way to do this and watched your video. But it seems there isn't any at the moment.
Anyways, maybe in future. Thanks for your video and advise!
