A real one
It was this moment, when I gave this video a like.
he is truely a goat had to sub lol
Bro you just upped my Edison game to the next level. Had no idea about the zero crossing. I be in there zooming in on the waveform all the way, squinting at my screen trying to find the part where the 2 circles come together. Don't gotta do that anymore. Thank you.
Big facts chief.
same bruh now i know 😂
LMFAO SAME
It's set by default?
how do you guys like download the music to add on Edison
Showing the subscriber watch time statistics was a genius move.
Always trying the think outside the box and just want a little support. It helps me keep pushing and making this free content.
@@MrDifferentTV Got u
@@MrDifferentTV man i just subscribed
@@pittal6320 straight up, i wanted to subscribe just because he went out of his way for that
He put us all on blast
Pro-tip: in Edison you can press and hold the middle mouse button, then when you move mouse up or down you zoom in/out very fast, and can scroll the part of the track you're viewing by moving mouse left/right.
I've come back to this video for a refresher like 5+ times , perfect tutorial
thanks for showing simple stuff like how to even get your sample into the editing plugin. so many tutorials ive watched where they say something along the lines of "drop your sample into slicex" then the video immediately clips to the sample already chopped up in slicex.
Finally someone who can make sense of FL for me!!! been needing some tutorials for a LOOOOONG TIME NOW! Gonna be powering through your channel :)
I've been looking for a sampling tutorial like this for a while now, and you gave me exactly what I needed. Couldn't have finished my song without you bro, apreciate it
Aye man this helped a lot. especially for someone who gets overwhelmed with learning new techniques, appreciate it! Earned my Sub right there
VirtualDJ is a good solution to the problem I had - finding right pitch & BPM. Thanks man !
I've been sending this tutorial to everyone that had problems figuring sampling out. Best basic tutorial on RUclips hands down. Thank you bro! You've helped me so much
Thanks for the vst links for the vst that detects bpm and key. Definitely needed
Mr. DIFFERENT! yessir you are different. Dropping these gems on us. Keep it up brother!
Crazy bro.. I just got into making beats and started watching your tutorials. And I noticed the beat to my first song I ever dropped in the back ground.. that’s crazy synchronicity
Suuper informative compared to other “beginner” sample tutorials. Thanks man👌🏽
Do you realize you just teached me how to sample in just 10 minutes? I appreciate it, I will sub, peace and blessings Brother
As soon as I seen that %80 of people wasn’t subscribed I paused it bc that some bs thanks for helping everyone I’ll be watching your videos now
bro youre goat. everbody else goes through it fast asf and like dont explain everything. but you were on it!!
MAN i APPRECIATE, I AM AN OLD DUDE TRYNG TO KEEP RELEVANT AND THIS HELPED ME OUT ALLOT
"Hopefully I don't get a copyright strike for this, if I do, oh well"
Man's really just out here dedicated to spreading the knowledge. Legend.
Best sampling tutorial on YT
i saw that only 10% subscribed, so i instantly subscribed to help a brutha out!
bro, SO SO helpful. I've been trying to get this working for months and months, and it's finally coming together. liked the vid.
Best beginners tutorial for FL Sampling hands down.
legend doing his thing
Not really this tutorial is highly overrated, sounds like a train wreck
@@sandlotshortcut5138 take your shit and gtfo
@@mohamedsheta4814 truth hurts 🥊🤣
Sandlot Shortcut it’s also very subjective
@@mohamedsheta4814 yes and this person went the easy route and made this type of tutorial. Using the loop for example. Took the easy way out instead of taking time to be more complex. Bad tutorial compared to what I've seen so far.
i started producing 2 days ago and just learning sampling. thanks a lot my guy! subscriber earned.
Hey bro here's a comment too man!! Thanks for the info, just started using splice so this was extra helpful.
For some reason for weeks now this video has been the link for my RUclips bookmark ( 2 lazy 2 change it ). so whenever I open RUclips you get a view. so your welcome for all of your success with the algorithm definitely me no other possible reason.
This video changed my life! Thank you so much man!
Bro pulled out the statistics on me, got my sub 💀💀
I subbed when you said "if I get a copyright strike, oh well". Lmao. My dude
Your free game is always clutch broski
Subscribed bro music making has been something that I've learned over time I really want to learn I've played viola picked up a lil guitar an sang a lil bit but Ive learned I like sounds more making them an sampling and stuff glad to find ya hopefully I can find time threw my business to learn so maybe 🤔 I could make money with sounds 😂
This is missing step #1... How to actually sample from outside the daw... Bringing the sample INTO the daw would be sampling... Similar to having an SP1200 or MPC. You play the record, cassette, video, etc. It is recorded into the sampler...
This is what I'm tryna learn I'm a rookie rook in this shit.😭
@@danarri8584 download and add the file into one of the fl pack folders, or download and open a new audio clip in step sequencer, click the folder icon and find ur clip
RUclips to mp3 , from there you might be able to get it on on there easier . Haven’t tried it yet
Can someone explain the benefits of this besides just dropping a sample into FL and then chopping it into a loop in Edison?
@@Prodby_duke to manipulate the sound to ur own liking.
Great vid bro I've always made my beats from scratch no samples but it's nice to learn something new. Thanks for the great vid!!
Good looks for helpin out the community... need some more guys like Different 🤙🙏
Most helpful FL tutorial I’ve seen!! Subscribed and liked brother! Keep it up. Beat sounded hot too.

Bro I left this video at 5:09 in, tried the technique and made the most unexpected banger from an old folk rock song
That's what's up glad it helped
bro you are a god sent for this video
I’ve never really been the sampler type cuz I just make whatever sounds/ melodies I think sound cool but I’m gonna try to expand my horizons & try new things cuz ultimately if you don’t try different things you won’t grow
This Is The Absolute Perfect Edison Sampler Tutorial! 👌🏿💪🏿
As Soon as my boi said , help a brotha out .. I thought mhhhmm he helpin me , imma help him . 💯💯
dude thank you so much for simplifying this
But when you “stretch” and change the “pitch”, in effect, you change the key, and thus, cannot overlay the sound with any keyboard/piano because you have to match the new key. Can you do a tutorial where you can actually add strings, piano, etc over this beat. Otherwise, great demonstration. Cheers.
Facts man
if beat 1 wasn't the beginning of our midi region then stretching the region will cause it to move a little too and it will no longer line up with beat 1 in the bar/beat ruler. This could happen if you have pickup notes in your region. You may have to adjust and readjust a few times to get it all right.
Just find that key bro
Almost to 100K 💪🏼 goals affff
I will have to buy serato. Didnt know about that tempo sync in Edison tanks alot!
No Problem glad it helped
Here supporting you bro! I learned so much from you!
The Goat, love your tutorials! Do you have a video about adding a melody to a sample?
Not yet but that's on my list now.
This helped a lot, I just started learning how to use FL Studio. And this tutorial helped a whole lot thanks again!
transitioning from logic, I'm impressed with fl basic plugins for sampling purposes
Loved the video man! Cant wait to learn more from you
Bro please give tutorial on chopping up samples in slicer
I was trying to find tutorials and your the best one by way way far
First video I’ve seen from all you man good looking Brodie 🤘🏽💯

Tempo sync feature in Edison is clutch
Thank you very much! I'm starting with fl beats and your tutorial is very helpful
just subbed before you get to 90k good luck
Dope, learned some new techniques from this thx
thanks from italy bro! respect
I appreciate the explanations bro, subbed.
I never thought to use my virtual DJ software to detect pitch and BPM for samples. Genius!! I use Edison to detect 808 sample pitch. Is Edison not reliable for checking long sample pitch?
I was looking for a great tutorial and this video helped so much thank you broski FIRE videos mayne
How would you go about keeping the melody on beat? Because you selected the sample at different sections the notes aren’t playing at each bar/beat so if you wanted something on beat how would you do that?
If a beat wasn't the beginning of your midi region, then stretching the region will cause it to move a little too and it will no longer line up with the beat in the bar/beat ruler. This could happen if you have pickup notes in your region. Just adjust and readjust a few times to get it all right. Works every time.
thankyou man, I really needed that.
Appreciate the knowledge man!
Where have I heard that before? Almost like it was in Arthur.
this really helpped alot..bless bro
I’m new to this and I gotta say, good work and being in depth to detail. 💯
Mr Different : I'm only gonna be using stock plugins to do this.
