It was great times growing up when I did, I lived in Utah so I got to watch the team grow from the pre Stockton and Malone era. Ricky Green, Mark Eaton, Darrell Griffith, Adrian Dantley, Thurl Bailey, Rick Kelley, Bobby Hanson. Which was a fun team to watch, then watching the growth with Stockton and Malone and the new teammates they put around them. During that era getting cable TV and we got WGN in Chicago and TNT in Atlanta so I also got to watch every Jordan and Dominique game I wanted too. It sure was great times. I still remember when Layton retired and Sloan took over, I was about 15 and still have on video somewhere the news broadcast from when he took over. There was lots of excitement around that and that time period. I miss it. Knowing he's gone now makes me realize just how short life is.
