also probably need to factor in time finding deals, plus time going to get the stuff, plus gas money and food on the road. also, wear and tear on the car. its a fun hobby but if you look at some of the big resellers they often buy entire collections or even buy out entire stores. id just use the profit to pay for the new games that come out you want. jmo
On vacation. Only 10 minutes but love the channel. I resell too to fund the collection and half of flipping goes to the game fund and other half is in a safe as a side hustle. My wife isn't a gamer but is supportive of it. Been a hardcore collecting since 2018. Will finish the video and love the content and look forward to Sundays. It is the last day of.my week and your video relaxes me.
In the month of Sept my girlfriend and I went ham on reselling for her - antique furniture For myself, I have a 3300item ebay toprated+ store and I sell gently used furniture out of a storage unit. Her sales $4365 costs of items/supplies $480 My sales $3372 deposited to my bank from ebay so after fees, I offer free shipping so maybe -1000 in shipping and cost of goods. Furniture sales I sold $5620 with $0 paid per item sold. Only expense was $220 gas. Her new goal is to sell 30x items at 400 to break 12k gross. To infinity and beyond!

But, I genuinely look forward to Sundays because I know you guys, in particular, will have new content to watch. I can’t say that for a lot of the others doing the same. That’s all. Sometimes you get lucky and can get a quick flip, but in the long haul if your trying to make the most of it, def hard work, between cleaning, testing, listing, shipping, etc. (much less consistently finding stuff if you a FT reseller). Wonderful questions from the community and was great to just sit back and listen and try to learn some new things. The big thing for me is just the testing of everything, but as I don't do that much I will def try to find some good value stuff to flip from time to time. No worries on not being able to answer or choosing not to answer all, I leave a lot to hope to feed the vids in the event you don't get many questions (which I would be surprised if you did as this is such a great channel, with what seems like a fantastic community). Thank you so much for the answers, and was a wonderful time listening to the thoughts/opinions and reactions to questions. Glad to have you back Elisa, you were truly missed in the time you were away - don't get me wrong Dan did a great job, but the couple dynamic is def great. I feel you on the time crunch though, I work Sunday - Thursday and off Friday and Saturdays. Fridays are mainly during the day to get adult life stuff done, so I can enjoy the yard/garage sales on Saturday mornings - before my work week begins again. Great video, always so much fun to watch. I really enjoyed this particular video! My favorites are your garage sale videos, but this one seemed well thought out. I have cleaned hundreds of video games and systems. I usually listen to music or will have a riend or family member on speaker while cleaning. I could really relate to this particular video. More like this please!! 😊
I dont know what it is with me but i cant seem to bring myself to resell items id rather just have 2 of the same item than keep one and sell one its not practical money wise but i just cant let go of anything i buy
I think that lot was well worth it. I kinda give a wipe down with a microfibre cloth. Some water and windex on it. then I use alcohol in the cracks or on sticker residue and random dirt. You guys gave a really nice deep clean tho. Id be keeping most of those and the system tho tbh lol.

Quite enjoyed this episode! I kinda do the same when buying in bulk, but my area there is a lot of people who collect video games as well. I'm limited on time I can go out source since full time work + nearly full time school I don't have much time to go sourcing. So I use ebay. I can find some decent deals since I work graveyard I've found either newly listed or auctions ending at horrible times. Then every Sunday I set aside a few hours to test and list and if I can get the game I want either super cheap or free then I'm happy with the time It took me
Awesome video! Gosh..reselling has gotten soo crazy competitive, I only do it as a mad money hustle..and we're just so crazy busy with our family and life in general. I will agree with Elisa on the bad girl games..they are just awful. Some of the Barbie games I've seen will rot your brain..easily the genre I would eliminate. And yet another reason why retro games are awesome..one I hadn't really considered because at the time I was learning to read, the Atari and Arcades were king. My husband and I were encouraged to read comics..so our son gets pokemon Manga read to him and we use retro games like centipede to help him be able to focus on completing a task with minimal stimming and use both hands together. Games capture his attention and its something fun we can all do together.
Wow I never heard anyone talk about Passcode. Some of them vocals are as brutal as some of the death metal I listen too. That's awesome to here others speak of them.
You wouldn't have happened to purchase this lot from someone in CT? Lol I bought a similar lot, except my guy left out the roaches (thankfully), the snes JR doesn't work, had to purchase snes, which goes against my collecting ethics, but I needed it to flip some of them games otherwise it was a loss.
I know you guys must sell handheld with lithium batteries. Are you going to abide by all the new usps ground regulations and hazmat stickers as of june 6th? I mean those batteries are so small I highly doubt they cause problem. Plus I don't see any ebay sellers shipping ground only.
My wife and I do reselling in a peddlers mall. It is a LOT of work for a small profit. We do it for the thrill of the hunt, definitely not the money. We have been at it 3 years. We have seen lots of people come and go in the mall. Most people think its an easy quick dollar. Think long and hard and do the homework before getting into it. The general public is very aware now of video game worth along with competing resellers, so it has become very difficult to source games in that area of reselling.
For sure, there's nothing like buying stuff for the seller's asking price then re-selling it on a platform in which it is encouraged to do so. We are bound to get banned 😀 Thanks for watching and commenting 😊

Nope, bought it from a guy in, I think it was Tempe. But everything pretty much worked except for Star Fox.

Not this time, 99% of what we sell on ebay we post as a price plus shipping.
