I kinda like the spectrum combo package. Didn't you run a spectrum efc onto the 100 mph slash? I may go this rout. I want plenty of power and no heating issues. 4s power yeah baby.
Cool video, I'm glad you got your slash fixed and sometimes when i'm shopping for esc and motors i try avoid the small shaft version if i can. I haven't been doing a lot of rc stuff recently but i have been planning to get my first full 5th scale a 30dn 5ive t clone or the new HPI Baja 5B Flux sbk.
good friend, a great video, could you tell me what wheels have you put on it and how do they work? those of origin are very bad... greetings from Spain!
do you have a 3d printer? if so print a mount for the stock location that will raise the ESC up about an inch or 1.25 inches. it will get the mounting surface above the receiver box. just my .02
Hello, Nice monster power setup 💪🏁 What is the center differantial 🤔 I wante same setup for a traxxas ford fiesta bl-2s with my électro, 4268 in 2500 kv and 100A ESC ( team magic Seth électro). Thanks for your vidéo 😊
You can mount the transmitter on the front of the car next to the front body posts there are already holes there so you don’t need to drill anything edit:just finished the video and you did what I thought of 😂
Lose the factory receiver box (unless you want it to swim. Cut your own mounting plate out of almost any stiff plastic, or some CF if you’ve got the budget. Hell, the receiver with fit on top of the servo.
Fun to watch....tks Firstly, even a mediocre basher needs a metal motor mount, certainly an ULTIMATE one should! IF you had an aluminium motor mount, it wouldn't have bent and thus allow the binding of your pinion against your spur. ---->Traxxas 6860R (7460R for LCG), OR Hot Racing SLF38X06 (LCF38X06 for LCG). Secondly, a center diff does NOT belong on a basher at all! In fact, it's the LAST thing it needs. It takes all the fun out of it, and mostly just lifts the front-end under power and blows-up front tires to shreds! At least use the heaviest diff lube you can find to put into it if you insist on using it as a basher, as opposed to a racer, who's simply looking to not loose traction in corners on a track.
Glad you liked it! I disagree on the center diff not belonging in a basher..it doesn’t belong in all basher’s but I find it handles better with it installed….also it helps save the drivetrain on hard landings better than a slipper clutch…to all their own though…as long as we’re having fun 👍😉
@@RCKnockout yeah just went and looked again 40 dallor's 1412 rebuild kit 5mm shift . You well have 2. I've got a 1415 2400kv 3.2mm shaft I like it alot on 6s would like to see 3200kv on 6s.

Ive got a new slash now somebody else built it. Ultimate start. Idk what combo it has but the cloest i can find is hobbywing xr10 i think but has huge add on heat sink fitted i cant see nothing and dont heve any tools for it yet lol. I sold up in 2020 but impulse brought a slash last week. The best RC platform around. Bcos its so versitile parts galore. Change afew parts and its a completely different rc car. But i 5mm motor shaft should be the go to. Especially when its failed you before.
Oh wow I think the setup will turn the Slash into a beast.😎 I'm looking forward to the first test video in the field. Greetings from Germany😁
Thanks! Yeah I think so too!
I'm so glad you're fixing this. Awsome!!!

Nice i had to move my reciver box to the front and i did mod 1 gears in my truck 24 /42 right now...

No I don’t
When you solder, are you using Flux? Flux will help you greatly when soldering, it makes the solder flow right to where you apply the heat
Yep I always do…it still seems to wick away from the actual wire..it’s bizarre

Are you going to put in a metal motor mount to dissipate the heat better and improve durability? Love the videos keep it up 👍
