Not sure about PD2, but in LOD, vengeance converts your physical damage into elemental. That means that you need a high physical damage weapon on ur char in order to get high elemental damage. If this applies the same way in PD2, this weapon may become BIS for an avenger.
You're definitely overlooking how powerful Hadriel's Hand will be to an elemental zealot. having an infinity merc, with that sword will break every immune for sure regardless of what element you choose, and it will make elemental attacks do absolutely insane damage. for instance say a 50k zeal tesladin, while i wont reflect on sheet damage having that lower resist proccing all the time is gonna almost double your dps. 1.75x+ dmg basically. It also makes elemental zealots into a desirable group class if they're casting max lower resist constantly. Paladin is about to be the next duneon master class.
You said that one handed swords do not benefit from dexterity in terms of damage but in season 2 there has been a change. See below: - One handed swords now gain bonuses from both strength and dexterity (75 str / 75 dex bonus) instead of 100 str
IMO boots would be last place even with the FCR the stats vary alot for being the only stats that really matter, it should have 30 frw, flat 20 energy and vita and an extra stat for being an item that is that difficult to drop the stats are meh, it needs a buff IMO.
As someone else stated that 1 handed sword would be ideal for a dreamdin.... currently most people prefer crescent moon pb but that new sword has nice phys damage and also that lower res paired with infy merc could possibly solo dungeon bc id think lower res/infinity shld be enuff to break all light immunes then imagine throwing facets in it too!!!! I could also see being a viable fireclaw or rabies weapon either throwing ias in it or facets!!!
I feel like you underestimate the armor, it has +1 skill and +20% FCR compared to all other caster armors. If you rate the boots number 1 for 20% fcr how come the armor is number 5 for the same amount and +1 skill? Is it because it's relatively easy to get 40 fcr Viper/Shroud/Atma's? But it's still +1 skill and 10 fcr? The strenght req is almost the same too.
I explain my reasoning in full in the video. There is no alternative for the boots. The armor has the biggest penalty. The armor str req is too high (and how are you even trying to pretend like the alternatives are “almost the same” they are at a minimum 42 pts less) I did not say the armor is bad. I simply rated it worst of the options.
@@boragaming1839 I meant the str req for the boots and armor are almost the same... 163 vs 167. But it’s okay, we can agree to disagree... I generally love your content, just don’t agree with you on the armor being the worst.
Yo Bora! Love the content dude, keep it up. Would you consider making a video on the current economy and general values? I know the current environment is fluid, but there just seems to be an overwhelming amount of price checks, misinformation, etc. and I’m just wondering what things should “actually” be valued at, what things will increase or decrease in value as the season progresses, and just how to better approach trading. I know I just need to use the trade site and ditch traditional WUG/WUW methods lol
dunno of it is still a thing but in the old days there where the bear sorcress with the fire wepon spell or whatever, i think that sword is realy good for this kind of ele build
Yeah that's solid. I've been using an atma's ammy on my barb for the lvl 18 amplify dam and that's insane too, really fun stuff to mess with especially in a group. That procs in a 4+ man map and everything will be dropping left and right.
It’s kind of weird that assassin would get a class specific item, while no other class does... kinda wack... also, they are mostly underwhelming... the two weapons are pretty much bis by far... however the armors aren’t gamebreaking, at least not foe the rarity. Overall I give the items a 6/10.
I mean that +2 skill 50FCR chest is pretty desirable for any caster build..Will help you push max FCR BP or 2nd FCR BP with ease, same with the boots..But with all the bonus FCR corruption options like gloves/belt/rings/amulet it just gets easier and easier - those boots and armor are just icing on the cake to any GG max FCR caster build..I agree with uploader that it's good that they're mostly balanced but they just kind of give already OP geared characters and extra nudge (not that they need it) - I'm sure we'll see more items like them in the future but IDK if it'd be best if they keep adding more and more in each season to the point where there's 20-30 legendary items floating around or maybe they add in 5 items like this each ladder and a couple classes get their "turn" that ladder that have some cool new OP gear for "that" season
The claw is basically an upgraded Nats claw with +skills to shadow skills you can tell it was made specificially for the martial arts tree. Group play for the sword could work if nobody wanted to go as Pala with conviction or Necro with lower resists but it wouldn't be as effective cause both can use conviction and lower res at will. The only builds that i can think of that would benefit from it outside of that is a Telsadin/auradin which im lead to believe are already op in pd2 to combine with conviction to further lower resists, a rabies druid to lower poison resists further, a vengeance pala which would open up the chance to use Fanatacism which is usually the more desired way to go, again a martial arts assassin if they want to use a particular elemental set up, and a fire claw dudu but would suffer from range and being slow. The helm is just retarded what kind of penalty is lower energy on a helm that supports physical melee builds and practically the only build that invests points in to energy is an ES Sorc. It would of been better with a life leech penalty or dex penalty or something.
Well said. I largely agree. From the comments, consensus is that the sword is amazing for a dreamdin. I still think the claw would make WW sin bonkers and if I get my hands on one I will definitely try it out.
Not really, but it would be good for tesladin (or dreamdin). Dragondin uses hand of justice as their weapon (because it has lvl 12 holy fire). Tesladin just uses a socketed lightsabre/pb/azurewrath which can definitely be replaced by this sword.
You were questioning Hadriel's Hand, but in reality, this is the best weapon by a long shot for any elemental caster build that's not a Necromancer casting Lower Resist. Put this baby on an Act V mercenary or Act III mercenary. (unless i'm completely retarded and neither can actually use it, but think about it)
@@Hax4Snax ikr, I just feel like the sword would be a Gg find for solo play as an enchantress, taking fire enchant and mastery to boost fire damage alot and then the lower res proc could probably out dps a dream. Imma grind hard to buy one of those bad boys and test it out.

True! I know I read that just slipped my mind. Thanks for pointing that out.
I always wanted to make a vengeance paladin work in vanilla d2. Haven’t played pd2 yet but that sword looks awesome for it

Agreed. Boots seem too low in stats for me.
Just as I started playing and discovered how they change dclone you uploaded this :D thanks!

About claws. I think when item is so rare there shouldn't be a 3-4 forks. If you get this one (0,1% chance) and got +3...
I would love the sword for a vengeance build.

Yea you can still do it - it's fine just not as strong as other builds.
My fav is the sword. And I immediately thought of a dreamdin or an avenger. Combined with an Infi merc, the dmg would be nuts.
Yea dreamdin would definitely be omega strong, especially if you got multiple sockets in it.
Still not my favourite of the items.
Cool content thx! If love that helm for the barb
What about an enchant sorc using that sword?
And I feel like the fire dmg on the sword does kinda help with the lower resist. Maybe I'm wrong. Haven't played in almost 20 years.
Oh it helps, but it's pretty inconsequential :P
Thanks I wanted to see these
Lets just talk about having a weapon that casts a lvl 20 lower resist.
Yeahhh...
Yeahhhhhhhhh
Only 0.0001 percent of the players have it tho so it's kinda balanced in that way
i need that

Wait someone already found the armor? And it spawned eth? What did he do with it.
hadriels hand could be sick on tesladin and rabies druid and other melees that do elemental dmg

idk but the sword is game braking for a dream pala lvl 20 lr is op added to conviction specially now that you can bring res below 0
Sword seems pretty dope for a fire claw wear bear?
yuupppp
melee sorc? dual wield barb with lower resist and elemental dmg?`
Does the sword have its own art?
They all do!
Hmm I could play on a merc but I think a get first xD
The lower res proc on the sword seems great on a Dreamdin, or is a 6 facet PB clearly better?
This conquest sword with sockets/facets sounds pretty good :)
Did they patch out the -stat glitch? That helm could theoretically give you near infinite mana if not.
Would lower resist on striking be good for dragondin?

Sword on rabies/fury druid?
Only boots and helm seem BIS and that’s for certain builds.
Their price will be high because of the rarity...
That sword smells of Griefing memories
boots req 163 str
Giant conch base is 2 soc max
Good callout thanks.
Not as good as I thought.

They're called "cooldowns"
These items really arnt that crazy or good... the claws are cool
