I like how you remained true to the style of Vivian Campbell's original solo without copying it note for note. Taking the intro and certain phrases exactly and embellishing the rest with some blistering flash that still rings true to his feel and technique was very impressive.
The section at 2:14 is so amazing how he harmonized the vocal guitars and just made everything flow so amazingly, it sounds just as epic as Dio created it to be

people using his old clips and vhs tapes have more subs, crazy how these things on internet works. but makes sense if you think about it, he's not trying to please the algorithm when he's uploading anything. For example this video could have a face of him surprised or something on the left, and dio's angry face on the right in the thumbnail. also titled as "would ronnie like this if he was alive today?!" i think he would get way more subs and views if that was the case. Kiko or kiko's channel manager does it to some extent. but again, i think paul's intention is to have an online presence, whereas kiko probably trying to reach as much as of audience possible with his mentality of teaching and serving fans.
I grew up hanging out in Ithaca N.Y. Ronnie grew up just a dozen miles east. He's such a huge inspiration to all the kids with guitars and dreams of making great music someday. Paul has effortlessly pulled the spirit on Ronnie into what is sure to be a classic album for decades to come. Thanks Paul!

I've heard other musicians manage to express multiple guitars in a composition while only playing bass, but I've never heard someone manage to translate a singer's vocals so recognizably as lead. It's like every syllable of Dio's lyrics is being distilled to pure electrified tone
I don't think I've ever heard a guitar capture and replicate the subtle nuances of a vocal performance this well before. This is really extraordinary and frikkin awesome.

The amazingly fun and silly guitar tutorial vids, the crazy shows in Japan with Marty and still blessing us with great music and playing. As a 17yr old guitarist in sunny Scotland in the 80's I would anxiously check in with our local import record shop (Hot Wax if anyone is from Edinburgh!) and bug the guy to tell me when the latest stuff was going to arrive from the US (especially Shrapnel Label records...). 1986 and Street Lethal finally arrived and the pure virtuosity blew my whole circle of rock and guitar friends away. Bruce and Paul doing the GIT thing and beyond - I dreamt of going to GIT and living that life! But, I went into IT, had kids, got married and play in a rock covers band - so not quite the way my young self saw it going lol... Thank you Paul for all the joy and wonder you bring to our ears, both with your music and your wise words!

Circa 1990s, I bought the Mr Big Live in San Francisco cassette tape because it had To Be With You, when it was a very big hit in the radio then. The song was on Side B, so I had to "force" myself to listen to all the songs before it. I was floored. Then Green Tinted Sixties Mind came on, and I was hooked. I was also learning guitar back then, so Paul instantly became my influence. Thank you, PG. Keep on keepin' on.
The rhythm tone sounds like a Tube Screamer plugged straight into a stereo; like a Peavey Mace played through a stack of horn tweeters...think "China Grove" guitar tone surrounded by a tin can full of pissed-off bees & you get the idea.
