    Thanks for the info! I recently replaced both of my headlights, and my visibility is outstanding. I got my 2013 Impala used so I'd never known a night-drive without the haze.

    drIvrs sides supposed to be lower ✋😉

      I guess that depends on your state's laws, DYOR. My state is exactly how I described in the video.

      @@FixandMaintain Bts me, the general safety reason is supposedly that drivers side can shine towards oncoming drivers view. & as far as we R concerned even on the selfish side, 1c in a Yl we’ll get high Bmd bak for that👋

    O, & btw, if anyone, with a 12 for example, has a square plastic looking thing on top of that 10mm adjustment bolt, making it even more impossible(if thats possible) to fit a rench on, THAT 9mm plastic vertical bolt shApd fastener- literallly turns the 10mm adjustment bolt😉

      no prob cheif, on that note I also noticed that leds are rotation position sensitive should be left/right w/more forward bulbs on left when looking down(this probably means with L shaped plug casing facing out & down) &&&, since headlight leds became mainstream in the 2015(ish)’s, many of these led bulbs don’t line up so perfectly with the headlight housing mirrors - might be better to have single rather then triple rectangles(all of which show up on actual light spot) - anyway, dun yapN 👋😑

      1 last thing, although Iv heard some1 say, that katana H11s, are 1 of the few to none that actually match lighting, mirrors, etc. - I’ve just been told by some1 at headlight casting comp. that ‘they recommend halogen, cause these casings are not equipped for led lights’

    So i recently replaced one of my low beams on the passenger side as it went out, now it will go off and come back on at will, i can tap my headlight and it will sometimes come on but wont always stay on. Please help if you have any idea's!!

    • @FixandMaintain
      @FixandMaintain  Год назад +1

      Sounds like you have either a loose wire, a loose connection of the wiring harness to the bulb, or a bad bulb itself.

    • @ryanof3004
      @ryanof3004 Год назад

      @@FixandMaintain I'm almost positive it's the wiring harness to the bulb, there's a green and black wire and when I move the green wire it will come on and off, I assume I can't fix this myself unless you have any tips. Thank you so much for the reply!

    What to do to stop the headlights from blinking too fast

    • @FixandMaintain
      @FixandMaintain  Год назад

      Do you have a bulb out? Typically the fast blink is caused by a blown bulb, but can also be caused when you use LED bulbs that don’t have the same resistance as the OEM bulb.

    Is there any adjustment for left and right or just vertical?

    • @FixandMaintain
      @FixandMaintain  Год назад

      No left/right adjustment, just vertical for the low beams. The high beams are not adjustable.

    I think your lights were good at the start. The driver side should be slightly lower as not to blind oncoming traffic and the passenger side lights should be slightly higher as to help illuminate road signs.

      Most state’s laws are between 0”-2” vertical drop from the center of the lamp. I agree with your logic on the driver’s side being lower and passenger side higher, but from a legal standpoint neither beam should be higher than centerline.
