I think rush is the greatest. Band to ever form. ..period. They fit each other Perfiectly...neil is the. Goat..of drummers. Ever. In my opinion...period. ...
I saw them in early 1980,s in Memphis......crowd was blown away...Ive been a musician since 1975 and Rush is as tight of a band that you can get......It will be a very long time before you ever see a band like this...Superb Rock
When this album first came out did not reall y like forgot about for years just recently been listening to and i love this album truly one of the best of the 80s love every song it is so dynamic and creative a real work of art thank you rush
I find it funny it was around the time Alex threatened to quit because Geddy was getting to involved with Synths and Keyboards and you couldn't hear Alex's incredible guitar work :(
Alex never threatened to "quit." Hated synths and was vocally pissed about them? Sure. The one that threatened to quit was Neil before the Presto tour. Then again after his tragedy. Then again present day...love him and get it, but damn it, man!
He didn't want to tour was all. He wanted to keep making albums, but not tour any longer due to the difficulty it places on home life. He ultimately decided that part of being a "big-time musician" was touring though, to the luck of all of us. That was 1989, so we got a bunch more years out of him, lol

One of the best non-Singles in their career !!! ♫ RIP Neil ♥
I live to see Alex perform those solos....those faces he makes... god I miss their tours.
I died a little inside when they announced their retirement from touring :(

Awesome !
My son and I were there. Great seats great sound great show.
This was the best song on that tour 👍
The guitar solo of this song on the studio album , is a true sonic work of art.
I very like this álbum...for me, one the best's álbuns the rush makes...
Peart is fearsomely metronomic.
Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, our Rush has turned to Rust. From 1974 to current day, may the Lord bless their eternal way....
awesome..gets better every time I watch this....
One of the best solos done by him
3 stars in the form of a maple leaf.. RUSH=BEST.
Thank u so much for the performance! U made my Yorkie passing a "goodbye" and enjoyed the performance. Thank U so so much, fellas!
The most ass kicking bass riff!
Lightning quick fingers, unremitting precision. Rush stands still in its own class.
Sound is Amazing!
My dad was at that concert! That's also the same day that the Snakes and Arrows Live CD was released.
...so underrated...
I saw them in Jacksonville!
That guitar solo...

Man..even the bootleg vids sound great!
this was recorded,to possibly be used for snakes and arrows live...
that is why the audience is muted..they sound really tight!!!!!
Awesome.
Easily the best tune off Signals gotta love that bass!!

+Caleb Bartlett No that was around 1987 when hold your fire came out. Alex was on board with the synths at signals and gup times

what was it about the direction the band was going that Neil felt the need to want to quit?
