What PRP is doing for RBs is amazing and inspiring. The fear of blocks and heads becoming rarer and the parts not being able to withstand the stresses you wanna throw at them are pretty much gone at this point. I get that Nismo reproduces certain parts, but the prices they ask for are through the roof. Safe to say i'll be buying a lot from the PRP Catalog in the near future😃
As a Skyline guy for life, you guys are an absolute treasure. You truly deserve a massive thank you from us as you are doing so much work to keep innovation of the RB platform at an unbelievable level. I can see nothing but success for PRP continuing into the future. I will continue to look to your products every time I'm making an upgrade on my car as quality is my only concern when I do so. The sleepless nights of you and your team can't be appreciated enough. Thank you so much for what you're doing for the Skyline/RB community. I almost cant wait for my head to fail now :P
PRP ..Herman your badass..... only reason I bought a RB26 GTR because I started to follow you guys 2yrs ago and have watched your progress. Great work we are here to support and buy parts 🙂See ya in TX 2024
PRP you guys have been an amazing company leading development in the rb space and the effort you guys have put in for your rb block and cylinder heads is awesome. It would be great to see sr20 development like this but that is probably just wishful thinking. Keep up the great work 👍
Herman is the greatest bloke the RB engine has ever known. I only have an RB25 in my Stagea but hope to build it with all the PRP glory that Herman & crew can cook up! Keep doing what your doing because you are killing it, mad respect bro👊
Love it...PRP building there own cylinder head For RB. Ford & Chev been easily Available in every combo for 30yr's . RB cylinder head development .PRP ACTION.
Couldn't smash the thumbs up any harder! It's great seeing all the awesome innovation coming outta Australia! Definitely makes me want to get into the RB platform that much more. Herman is killing the game.
Absolutely incredible! Herman you’re a bloody champion! The lengths you guys have gone to for our beloved RBs is amazing! I’m sure a lot of others remember way back when you first came on the scene with a few of your early products on Facebook and to see where you are now is just incredible. Hats off to you, you’re a bloody legend! Some butt hurt to come from the comments re RBs making more power per cc than anything in the world! 😅
Just finished my Nitto 2.8 with Headgames head in an 05U. Already saving for a PRP crate engine. 3.2 Wide journal with an R0 cylinder head is definitely in my future! Thanks PRP for all you do for the community! I’m rocking thousands of $$ in PRP goodies on my build, and all of it is top notch!
just got back from 3 days of PRI, Platinum was in booth 2634 way at the far end of the Green Hall. btw that Mustang shown at Kelford was a 1000hp Ecoboost... err... Eco-BEAST.😀 fwiw even though we know a decent number of RHD GT-R's are already here in the States (still have pics on my phone of a mint Bayside Blue Nismo on TE37's i saw parked out front of a local Autozone back in Sept of '22) you may have seen the announcement that come January of 2024, the first production numbers of R34's will now be 25 years old and be officially legal for "mass import" into 'Murica. 😎
Oh my man, you've got the Godzilla DNA & now you're splicing the shit out of it. Man I hope you guys succeed but you've gotta acknowledge Nissan did a one-off wonder job with the RBs. You got my support with appreciation now and someday financially by buying your finished product Godzilla Reborn(tm).
It's good to see shops stepping out into realms where only manufacturers and F1 teams were previously. Hopefully it kicks off and they can keep expanding into the spectrum of other platforms while they've already gotten great insights into these projects.
You are not getting "in excess of 500cfm" (2:40) through a pair of 37.5mm valves at 28" of H2O. Thats a Cd over 1 for the valve curtain, not minimum cross section.
I’m so stoked to see the community pumping so much R&D into these amazing engines from the 90’s that we all love so much. Guaranteeing they live on by any means possible. To think I won’t have to buy a busted up block and try to bring it back from the dead at a machine shop, then work around its defects to attain a power goal. This is truly inspirational. It’s no wonder so many major names are getting on board. 72’ 240Z RB25 neo - soon to be RB26 variant? You PRP boys are killing it 🤟🏼🇨🇦 Mad Mikes completely anodized rotaries are mental looking. Can we expect something similar from PRP? They look so good all one colour. 🥵
This is a seriously awesome product. I'm not an RB guy, I wish we could have an updated 3SGTE head with better ports and chambers. That's a wet dream though. The cost per unit on something like this is because of volume. They're not expecting to sell thousands of units so the high cost of development and production are being split between a small pool of buyers
Fuck who would've thought back in the auto salon days that one day us Aussies would be pumping out our own RB block....Herman, you are a dead set legend
If we are ever going to compete at import vs domestic or any other US event we need to get away from the idea of having never ending pockets for rbs and jzs. I love my gtr but with the price of a solid 1800hp capable engine I could build an entire coyote car price of car included go mid 7s and go rounds in no prep. Hopefully once profit from the parts starts to pay for the tooling we can get these prices a little lower for the whole community. Moves in the right direction for sure. Can't be cheap developing a new product. I already want one.
PRP do some amazing stuff, the barra r35 coil kit looks wicked. might be worth the upgrade when i get my 3.8ltr bottom end and get into the 8k rpm range. Im more excited about the tr6060 strait cut gear sets ive seen them working on. it will be a dream come true if i can cruise to the track with stock quiet 5th and 6th gears, then be able to flat shift 1st to 4th down the 1/4 mile
I bet it’s on the way. He did say they were working on a cast JZ block to fill the void between stock oem blocks and billet blocks but obviously Dart beat them to the punch. I see them cranking out cast JZ heads in the future if the demand is there.
@@lennixsingh626 yeah spoke to Dart at PRI specifically about the cast 2jz block and the latest update is that they'll be shipping in Feb 2024 (so just 2 months away)
Admire the work that PRP are doing. Even if a lot of it is only geared towards the 1000hp+ setups. Will the R0 have any drawbacks if used on the setup between 500-600hp? I know bigger ports have less velocity so not nessarily good for lower power setups. Its great to know that in the future if I need a block to replace my RB I can brand new upgraded block instead of trying to source a good used one.
Do you’s sell clear cam covers ? I’ve been looking for them for ages but could only find top timing covers. I was tempted to get mine remade in acrylic but the cost to design 1 would be pointless and I Didn’t want to get 10 sets made.
I like the low and small inlet port as cast. Why? TUMBLE. You could very easily make a super high intensity tumble (ha! acronym...) flow that would improve combustion efficiency and reduce detonation. This is a concern on pump fuel or anything that involves racing for more than a few seconds at a time.

Between PRP and Artec, Aussie manufacturers are killing it and the world scene... love it
They also are doing good stuff for mod Ford motors
@@Alex-pl1ye I love that they are pushing hard on the development of the Barra platform also

I’ve said it once and I’ll say a 1000 times Herman is the Tony Stark to RB engines ❤
I can't wait for the day when I can buy a crate RB26 from PRP.
I love this. Happy to support. Your coil kit in my SR rules. Keep it up!
You really can see Herman’s passion! I’d love to work with/ for someone like that
Great job guys! looking forward to the new innovation of the rb platform and not just letting an old engine die out but re engineering it
Very nice products from PRP, amazing work.
Prp and harop are goated. Keeping Australia manufacturing alive.
The is incredible. I'd like to see the process get so optimized that the cost would go down and make it a very accessible product

Thank you for everything Herman!!! Keep it up my friend!! 🙏🏽🖤🔥🔥🔥

Great work from PRP, time to look at a 3.6 long block set up I guess.....
The RB community is so lucky to have your support. I’d be happy if my 33 could make a strong 300kw at the wheels.
“Everything you can think of, and everything you haven’t thought of is in this head” that got me very excited😂
10:45 fucking legend herman 👌
100% holding out doing anything to my stock 05U head. Going to wait and get an R0 head when the time is right.
they've got a proto block already
If your not pushing HUGE power u have nothing to worry about using an 05u head.
i cant wait for the day the RB36 cast head and block combo from PRP that makes 5000bhp+
2JZ owners be jealous
Thanks to these guys rb engines will be around forever. And you will actually be able to find parts for them.

and the most important it is much more better for mass production.
I was dreaming on cast rb head for years expect it has vtec in it.
Lovely products, I want mare Barras in the USA!
Thank you Herman, cast is king.
I bought new head from Nissan, sadly without valves. Planning to put new Supertech valves in it. The cast block is what I am excited about :-)
Awesome work Herminator!
Just wow !!!!🏁🏁🏁💪🏻 Records is going to be broken left right and centre can’t wait ! 👏🏁
Thank you Herman.
5000hp.. From a 6cyl..
That is absolutely bananas!!
square sized 3.6l would sound epic, cant wait to see some in action
Amazing work
Already saving my money for prp head and block can’t wait until it’s all available as a package
Incredible work, keeping Aus at #1 for RB development.
I would love to see a motor and head combo for high efficiency/mid power followed by the same, but for the 2jz. These videos are great btw.

That’s a huge relief. Now I can get a cast block and head from PRP and it’ll last me a lifetime. PRP ATTESA next! 🙏
You're doing God's work, Herman!!
Nice seeing a short cameo from Dave of speed academy
This is awesome. I think there would be a decent market for a jz head.
Really loving this thanks
Awesome stuff. Cheers
Billet limits the oil and water passage paths. That's pretty much it on why it's not good for cylinder heads
So sic! 🔥🔥🔥

Looking forward for a cast sr20 👀
Herman is one of the greatest humans currently alive.
surely we're getting those clear rocker covers up for sale in the not too distant future right?
This is awesome
Did he say 5000hp ?
Legend!
I love the idea of running a Barra, but don’t know how to get a hold of one in the US. Anybody know of a source?
are you going to be offering a prp head with vct on the intake?

If u watch the video u can see cad and mould designs of the Clover leaf cylinder head with HUGE ports and 37.5mm valves.
@@seanb250 390cfm with normal Rb26 ports? and without clover leaf design?
insane power get em bros.
I'm curious if R0 head will be VVT capable? It would be great addon for street and roadrace engine for broad torque curve.
I'd assume VVT (aka HKS V-Cam) would work just fine since the R0 is just a reproduction of the stock head.
Great job 👏😍
You guys are true pioneers!
Can you develop a cast SR20 VE head that is a direct bolt on to a SR20 block please?
Any ETA for having a pre order for Blocks???
Would there be an issue with running a billet head on a billet block?
My biggest question, are both heads going to be offered with HIP process? or is only the R1 head HIP cast?
