I'm with you on natural hair brushes. I do have a few that I enjoy and use but they are exceptions. I have a few synthetics that aren't great but they are the exceptions. The Futur is a BEAST! It definitely shaves close for sure. I always enjoy your videos. Keep it up!

Definitely like to give my animal hair brushes a good soap (10mins+), it makes a difference IMO. I didn't like the Futur: head too bulky, handle too slippery, changing blade/aggression slippery and too aggressive, but YMMV. India made creams seem to work well, unfortunately don't get to our local shelves and they loose their value getting them posted.👍🤠

I'm still looking for local shops that are selling wet shaving supplies...almost non-existent. Hopefully, this comment gets to you in less than a year. 🤣🤣🤣 Hey, when you come back over to the States for a holiday weekend, make sure you bring those models. 😉 Thinking back for a SOTD, I think I was using the Progress with 7 o'clock yellow and Taiga from B&M. No cuts with the Futur on that setting...amazing! Cheers!

Nice video again John. Nice haircut Dolph. I like my badger brush. I pre soak it for 15 mins. Then load it for longer than a synthetic brush. Just like the face feel. Hope the rest of the week goes quickly for you. 🏴👍

Hi John that's a great Shave. I had last year a Chinese Razor like the Futur. I have problems with the system to opening the Blade cap. But I think from Merkur is much more better. Have a great day and week 🙂.

I just used my Futur yesterday. Great shaver. BBS on 3,2, and 1. Would never use it on 6 unless shaving off a beard. Take care.

Nice shave John! I haven't tried the Supermax cream yet, it looks pretty good. So when Tubetober is over you will have to let us know what tube is your favorite or which one makes the best lather 😎👍 You have inspired me to use my Futur clone in today's SOTD: with a Statum Platinum Chrome Sputtered blade, Proraso Azur Lime (comes in a bag but I'm still counting it as a tube 😉) Stirling Coniferous splash, WCS Honeycomb synthetic, and so.e Nivea Sensitive Cooling Balm.

Very nice one. Aged yourself a bit with the buck rodgers thing lol. I can see the little robot right now lol. My sotd will by my vander hagen adjustable. Its a clone of the one you used. Paired it with tobac and aqua velva aftershave. And since i have tomorrow off, a bottle of Sam Adams octoberfest ale. Have a great day 👍🍺

Hi mark, the mug was a novely one off i got from a company on insta, i do my passes low then high based on the lawnmower prinicple, , the shorter the hair gets the higher you set the blade (or lower in a mower lol), i find it just gives me a really close shave, if you try it please let me know what you think 👍👍, have a great week mate 👍

I do not like the shaves I got with my Futur. I just could not get a good shave with it so I gave it away to one of my sons.
