Lorgar isn’t losing because his power is being drained by Corvus. His power is weakening because he’s losing. Warp power / magic thrives on success & is reduced by defeat throughout warhammer lore.
I also think specifically with Lorgar it's a bit of a Gladiator from the Marvel Universe situation, except instead of straight confidence it's Faith. As he began to doubt, his faith-based power was lessened, leading to losing more and more. Would seem to fit with Lorgar not really being a martially minded Primarch to begin with, and his long history divine co-dependency.
I like that Corax is described as what is usually considered "evil", with the pale skin, ravens and black armour etc, and Lorgar is golden, using light and fire against the darkness that is B̶a̶t̶m̶a̶n̶. Corax
I think Corvus found the same thing the emperor found within the warp on Molech. Corvus is ascended, but it seems to be a power discovered and not power given by the gods of chaos.
If you read the Horus books, and siege of terra the entire point is all the Space Marines were products of a barging between the Emperor and the Chaos gods. But Big E double crossed them. The primarchs were demigods in the literal sense, as their purpose was to be used to mass produce humans as templates of what the Chaos Gods had in mind for taking over the universe. So when they absorb too much warp energy (as big e and horus were doing) they were turning into what they were always supposed to be, not that they were ever something resembling a human.
Interesting note about Loyalist Primarchs coming back to the setting: I would caution everyone to remember that both Leman AND Vulkan told "us" that they will return at the "end times". So Primarchs coming back is COOL, but it's not a good sign. When either of those two returns, you'll know shit is NOT GOOD in the Imperium.
Shit is never good in the Imperium. I do share your opinion on the return of the Wolf King being a bad thing. Only when the galaxy is burning will the Russ return. For the END. Vulcan, I think, can be argued is still somewhere in the galaxy but if he does show up it will be bad as well. I can only see him returning to turn the key of the Terminus Decree device.
It’s ambiguous, the wolf time or ragnarok doesn’t necessarily need to be the end of the imperium. It could just be the end of an era, the end of what was, the end time before the final triumph and rise of humanity or just the end of everything.
I want a daemon primarch Lorgar to get a model reveal trailer only for it to end with a loud CAW and it’s a double reveal And Corax is here with a steel chair
Im glad I live in a universe with Sandman of Terra. Thoughtful, informative, and with amazing voice for narration - you, sir, are gifted! Thanks for making these videos!
It seems that corax is drawing power from the warp without being tainted by chaos. This suggests that whilst chaos is completely of the warp, the warp is more than just chaos.
I know it was old lore, but the warp was always more than Chaos. It is just that it became so corrupted after the War in Heaven that Chaos took most of it and for itself.
And old lore is that's what Russ went to find, the tree of life in an uncorrupted part of the warp, but if I remember correctly now it's the eldar healing goddess that's being a "guest" of nurgle atm
Same with the remaining eldar god's, the manifestation of the greater good and let's not forget Gork and Mork, as well as the Man Emperor of Mankind.. there is still power in the warp uncorrupted by and unaligned to the 4
@templar628 I think a good story would be Leman Russ returning and saying that he found the path to the Garden on Nurgle and thr Tree of Life and is forced to make a new alliance with the Eldar to make the assault using the webway.
Honestly dude, I just enjoy your videos. The information is in depth and has critical thinking, and your presentation is just enjoyable. Great video man.
He is honing his skills to the utter insanity of his abilities. Said that the warp amplifies his gifts so hard. And his gifts are gonna be so unbelievably strong 😊
17:38 I cant help but hear Weshammer's version of this part. Wonderfully done though. I'll stop being a casual watcher and subscribe. Also, I remember someone's comment about how eventually, the Primarchs will have their Warp abilities awaken naturally. The demon Primarchs essentially fast-tracked themselves to their Warp abilities/selves but Corvus allowed himself/accepted to become what he spiritually is, a warp entity/minor god.
Maybe the two missing primarchs developed into their ‘warp’ forms early on, like how Corvus has now, and because they did it so early on, the emperor saw this as them being in need of purging
I Love the Idea that Corax became more whole in a sense, because that opens some interesting questions of wtf Emps actually created with the Primarchs and on the other Hand how Deamon the traitor Primarchs truly are and judging purely on the fight between Lorgar and Corax in the Eye it might even limited them being bound to the Gods. Would like your take on the Trefoil Legions
Trefoil legions have special psychoconditioning. The Salamanaders are conditioned to self sacrifice. The wolves are conditioned to turn on their cousins on command. The alpha legion are conditioned to be able to overwrite their personalities and bury their true selves until they receive a command phrase.
thats on theory i have often seen the other one is that they are the Legions that were meant to keep existing long term after the Crusade another that it has more to do with the Primarchs of these Legions and less with the Marines themself
And then some humble techpriest finds a way to turn Warp energy into a safe, clean, renewable power source. When he turns it on every entity in the Warp starts to weaken. The Warp powers flee our galaxy and never return. Corax: "I count my oath fulfilled."
I always thought it was strange that The Lion didn’t sense Alpharius when the Alpha Legion first meets the Dark Angels to offer support… and Alpharius went on board The Lions ship disguised as an Astartes… Although Alpharius could be an unreliable narrator during that event… But based on his description…. It seemed as though The Lion wasn’t aware of his presence.. Maybe a little suspicious of the situation in general… But not aware Alpharius was there..
I always wondered with Alpharius being a twin if that explains why Alpha legion could pass for each other even to the point of not being able to tell the Primarch from an Astartes.
I think they could still sense him to a degree, dorn after all calls him on his shit before killing him, albeit I think they can only partially sense him due to his soul being split into the two bodies
That's Alpharius' special warp power though isn't it - he can kind of blend in, escape conscious notice, to the point of almost invisibility (but not to cameras etc, only people).
@@AAC1714 Dorn went on board alpharius flagship when they were still on friendly terms. Alpharius sat on a throne pretending to be a marine who was pretending to be alpharius. Dorn knew the truth all along and called him on that too.
Thing is, unlike most loyalists (save perhaps the Lion) Corax may be the Imperium equivalent of a daemon Primarch. He is elevated in some form. The advantage Lorgar would have being elevated may be nullified by Corax’s elevation. And we already know Corax is one of the better duelists. He’s in my top 5, behind Sanguinius (obviously), Russ, Fulgrim, and maybe Mortarion.
The top 5 goes like this as far as duelists - Sanguinius, Angron, Russ, Lion, Corvus. Fulgrim in non demon form would get stomped by all of these. Mortarion would put up a good fight but would still probably lose to each of these primarchs.
@@TheSickjits Nah, Angron isn't a duelist, he go forth and brrrr a load of dudes. take Angron out, swap Lion and Russ and bang the Khan between them ;)
I think/hope that the looks of the loyalist primarchs in the 40k timeline will represent them being more in tune with their true nature, as opposed to the traitor primarchs having had their nature twisted by Chaos. That's why Guilliman looks like the ultimate statesman, The Lion looks like father figure that everyone looks up to, Russ will look like Odin, and Sanguinius will look exactly the same as he did during the Heresy.
I think all the primarchs in the warp haven’t had time pass like we have in the material realm. I’m betting they will all be shocked. Lion may be the only old one ha. Truly an older brother.
You could make similar video about most of loyalist primarchs lol As a White Scars fan,I always wonder what the hell is Jaghatai still doing in the Webway,Guilliman and Lion could both use him and his approach to war now more than ever
Imagine chaos infected him in a special way. He is mentally living in a time where The God Emperor God of Mankind wins or get off the throne and pretty much "said Have fun my sons"
Yeah I always wondered if because corax had that shadow meld ability at a fairly young age, he was able to have a little bit of a leg up in applying his psyker abilities. Since they are sort of different than a normal psyker, it kind of feels to me that he just took the time effort he has to advance those abilities to this insane level. In my mind, since he was always solitary in his way, he likely wad able to take the time reflect on how to do this. I also think because they are psykers and made of warp stuff, I think quite a lot they use their abilities without having to mentally and physically doing it the way the normal librarian would have. It's almost effortless for him, because its already part of him. The lion does the same kind of effortless thing, he just doesn't quite understand what he's doing to the level it seems corvus does
Thank you for confirming the timeline of the 2nd best short story (arguably behind Ryllanor), I’d always remembers it as being extended 30k but kept seeing people insist it was 40k, but since I don’t actually own the book it was hard for me to verify myself.
My head canon is that the claim the Emperor stole the power to make the Primarchs from the powers of the warp is a lie told by the Chaos gods. In reality he recruited minor warp gods to become the souls of the Primarchs. The minor gods would be archetypes from myth and legend. Corvus is, obviously, the divine Raven which shows up in mythologies as varied and Egyptian, Norse, and American Indian. Ravens even show up as prominent figures in some bible tales. Other Primarchs likewise correspond to totemic figures, ancient gods, and even aspects of the major arcana from the tarot.
I think Corvus "pre-cognition" leans itself more towards exceptional intuition. Like in the way he was able to see the emperor in a different form. Corvus being master of shadows, makes sense why the Emperor wouldnt be able to obscure his form as easily. So basically, the idea is that you cant hide in the shadows, what you don't want known, from the shadow itself. Corvus has the sthuper sthluther ability. XD
i really enjoy these streams so so much. i love the conv we re having , the things you re talking are so interesting. i cant wait for death and the end 3. WG should make new books about Eldars like its been many years since the last Eldar focused book , i know we re getting a Necron book this year so that good . lets hope we find out what the S. king does with the peraih nexus i want to know details not fidning out from random clips and codexes few informations here few information there like come on ... i would love if we got a new Corax book continuing from that story with Lorga.
Great point about Corax not having the same level of warp power outside of the realm of chaos.... I'm sure you're right. That may also explain why he's been gone so long, because him being warp empowered has let him do more against the traitors and chaos. I think there would be a way for him to emerge into the materium with all powers if he is summoned or enabled in the way those like greater demons or demon primarchs. Great stuff dude!
I wonder if what we are starting to see is a growing imperium section of the warp seperate from chaos. It could be that the second half of the emperors soul took over the remnants of the angelic equivalent of the chaos realms in the warp and grew it from there. That would explain a lot of the miracles in the imperium and the angle related imagery etc like the wings.
So my take from this is that being in the vicinity of, or within the eye of terror, brings these abilities to the fore and increases them - going off of Corvus here, seemingly many-fold. To that end, it makes me heavily curious to see what the other Loyalist Primarchs would manifest. Jaghatai, Dorn, The Lion etc. Just let your imagination flow :)
I can’t wait to see when Russ comes back. I’m glad you touched on him having been visibly aged, it’s something not many people seem to recall. Between the end of the Heresy and his departure into the EoT with the 13th Company, Russ is described to be all gray haired while discussing his regrets of burning Prospero to a junior Space Wolf.
My favorite loyalist primarch is corvus corax and his legion the XIX legion the raven guard. His 30k weapons are his raven lighting claws, raven jet pack wings, his dual plasma or bolter pistols named wrath and justice and electric lighting whip. But nowadays in the 40k time line he has worp mix with shadows powers, turn into a flock raven's, come out of any shadow and slice enemy's to shreds or pull them in to shadows never to be seen again and shoot out back or white lightning from his lightning claws or finger tips. Thank you for making this video sandman, my the emperor's Light shine down upon you victorus Aut Mortis brother🤫😶🌫️🖤.
I'm a hydra fan and even I wish they had left The Raven guard alone. Definitely a close competition between Vulcan and Corvis for hardest hit by the heresy
The primarchs having self-actualisation as an ability is a pretty interesting idea, and the reason the chaos primarchs change so much could be put down to them self actualising. Horus didn't turn into a Daemon because maybe he doesn't see himself as one. And why mortarion is so monstrous.
I wonder if the abilities that the Primarchs have now the Emperor always planned for them to have. Each one has had to discover and cultivate these powers in their own way.
I find it interesting how self perception has a tangible effect on the Primarchs. It has some fun implications on the Emperor as well: ‘Is this your true face?’ asked Corax. ‘I have no such thing,’ replied the Emperor. ‘I have worn a million faces over the millennia, according to need or whim.’ Controlling the ability would be a cool thing for him to do but it would be really interesting if over his long life he just learned to craft persona's that are just as real as his original self, eventually a long enough time passes and he forgets his original self, there is just some vague unstated goal (to us) and a million faces striving for that goal. It would make him nearly impossible to predict for the Chaos Gods but also for his own precognition.
I'd like Corax to come back to the setting but as neither loyalist or traitor but like a malice type character taking on a dark aspect like the night haunter.
@@marty5144 But it was after that his legion got corrupted and he flew into the eye of terror. I think it would fit well with the irony of 40k if he became the true night haunter after being in the warp so long.
Man! Bummed I missed the stream ! Sorry ! But thank you for doing a video about this!!! Been wanting one FOREVER!!! One of most “wait… wtf just happened!?!?” one off in 40k ive ever read n that’s sayin a lot lol! I never considered that CC was literally draining his power!? That’s a good spot! Totally was geeked to finally see a DP get whooped! I wish it wasn’t Lorgar cuz he’s such a punching bag but also glad cuz F the W-Bears lol! Wish Erebus was there. I’m glad they haven’t retconned this. I heard they were gonna do one of the next versions as RG vs WB with both the Primarchs so hopefully they get smart n do it soon while ppl still remember this
I imagine Khorne being hype AF for this fight. I took the power drain to be his focus shifting. Lorgar’s getting the brakes beat of him. He’s distracted.
I think honestly The Gorgons death was planned by the emperor, especially in the one book where he deliberately sacrifices the Grogon piece playing Regicide with a perpetual, and says sometimes you have to sacrifice your piece to help you later on, which is shown when Ferris and the damned legion flood the Webway and helps the custodians stop the error of Magnus, which wouldn’t have been stopped unless Ferris had been there in pure spite to battle the forces of Chaos. It’s quite fascinating.
Great video thanks. Its clear that corax has learned to draw on his warp self without taint....much like the emperor does....he has always been underutilised by GW. I wish they would bring him back to the 40k setting sooner rather than later. Corax is a bad ass with potential to be one of the most powerful primarchs.
@@criticalcommenter Have you read the corax story? Baseline humans, even drawing on the warp do not kick the proverbial rear of a Daemon Primarch! Corax took DP Lorgar apart, without breaking a sweat, or Lorgar getting in any sort of threatening attack. It is so far beyond a psyker or navigator in the magnitude of power that its like comparing the Lion fighting a guardsman and saying the baseline guardsman would do ok.
In the span of a couple sentences Corax says that he'll kill every warp abomination and that primarchs are of the warp. To me it sounds like no primarch is safe from him, he'll just start with the chaos ones
Now I wonder about Dorn. He is the one primarch who seems to be perfectly indifferent to the Warp. He might be the only one who'd remain just his awesome self even in the Eye of Terror.
I would love, to read a scene where Lorgar is escaping from Corax, just before his escape he suddenly gets cold clocked by, any of the following: ghost of Sanguinious, ghost of Ferus, or best of all Leman Russ or Vulkan!! I just see in my mind Lorgar going nah NAH. CAN'T CATCH ME, POW! Another angry brother with a axe to grind tossing him back toward Corax! I love the idea of Lorgar escaping to reality because the immatirum wouldn't be safe anymore. I love the irony.
It would be really amazing if all Primarchs actually can steal a portion of chaos to help them reach their maximum potential and the change is depending on each Primarch imagination and how they think of themselves at their strongest. Corvus's crow form and Lion aging is just them reaching their highest potential as a being. and it would be hilarious if later they reavealed that there is no need to fully submit to chaos and become Daemon Prince for Primarch to reach their highest potential.
He also doesn’t heal from his injuries because he is so depressed, they seem to be affected by their mental state, which humans also are just taken to another level with them
Lion L'Johnson looks old because his body is 10,000 years old. It was in real space the whole time in The Rock. Old lore has him in stasis, but what if he was actually just in a coma with his mind free in the warp. And the Watchers just kept a vigil while he slept.
I play RG because my mind works the way Corax does warfare in the lore. But even so, Corax is my favorite Primarch. What is he now? Part of him is the warp daemon - and in this case perhaps the only daemon of the Emperor as a god - but his physical form is hinted to still be in his tower in the Aviary on Deliverance under guard. They hint of RG leaders going into that room and coming back totally changed. Why knows what Corax tells them - shows them. The Lion is resurrected. Russ is alive. Corax is alive - but all are changed. Bringing them back together - I really like. Something I am also reminded of - in the conversation between the Emperor and Konrad in I forget which story, but it is near the end of Konrad's life - Curze says he appears to hate Corax because he knows Corax is what Konrad might have become. That really suggests that Corax has pre-cog as much as Curze.
i thought that to about the Primarchs when i was readin Guiliman thinking he got older . it made no sense in my mind at that moment bc i was thinking the dude was in a stasis field to stop the spreading of the poison and not get de@ad De@ad . so the time wasnt moving inside his field or i assume so . then i thought that the primarch maybe project there feelings on there body . making them look older . or even not letting there body heal like Corax did (i think) Now i really hope we get Khan , Vulkan or Corax return since they re my favorite but any primarch return will make for a good story
Primarchs do not age in the traditional sense. For example, by the end of the heresy Leman Russ was growing white hair when it was stated that primarchs are immortal. Just as you have said it, primarchs project their current feelings onto their physical forms. Lion el Johnson just thinks he’s old and that is why he looks old.
Sanguinius and Farris died in combat. Corvus had to watch most of his sons die, and know that he couldn't save them. Then he was given a chance to save his Legion oy for it to be ripped from him once again, leaving him with that failure and pain a second time.
Last book i read was "Deliverance lost" and despite the fact that the Alpha Legion is my legion i felt so bad for the raven guard who where already beaten down. I mean respect for this level of infiltration but man... It was heavy and heartripping. Like Alpharius itself began to feel a little bit for his "battle brothers" but this only highlights the setting in WH40K. It isn´t fair, it isn´t really forgiving, it rips your heart out and throws you back into an endless battle.
I find it insane that Corax is so low on the totum pole of the Emporors sons. I think Corax is dope! Its so hard to pick a favorite, but The Raven Lord is by far my favorite. I just hope that they GW does not leave him as an afterthought because they could really do some amazing things with his story, but we know how GW works, soooooo.
I hate that I missed this book, but I think I know what happened to Corax: he had a simple realization about himself, that he is of The Warp. And since he realized it, he's not bound by the limitations of flesh. He's back to the way The Emperor found him, he's a powerful warp entity while he is there. I think this shows us how all the Primarchs were in the before time. Lorgar, for all his knowledge, couldn't get there. He had to drink the Chaos Kool-Aid because he thought he needed it. He could've kept his autonomy and gained immense power if he had just realized what he really was. It's symbolic of self confidence. The good kind comes from within and the bad kind comes from what others tell you about yourself. The truly self confident man will always be more powerful than the narcissist who draws his power from others.
Dear @SandmanofTerra , i always like your analysis/psychoanalysis of primarch and their situations. I have quite a different perspective on things especially on 'returning' loyal primarchs. You may need to suspend your judgement a little while: When primarchs are created, each are not only have an (or some) amplified feature/characteristic (+ve points) of their father but also amplified gap/weaknesses (-ve points) of their father's ... likely vis-a-vis a normal human (lack of certain emotions etc). Lets call this the 'nature factors'. ..Then their experience primarily from the scattering moments until reunited with the Emperor, but also up until Horus' death - as the 'nurture factor'. Considering they all get to be >10k y.o., by the time of heresy, they are all basically ' young adults'. Like all man, from that point onwards you begin to see the world/universe AND yourself as what it is, not as what you want it to be. The Lion sees his younger self as an impatient, approval seeking, proving a point type of guy..basically lacking maturity and wisdom. Possibly because its only natural to associate wisdom with age, thats why he appears to aged the most. The older Gulliman has started showing 'signs'of disaggrement with the Emperor's policy especially in terms of diplomacy. He probably a lot less xenophobic than anyone else in his family - and if it were up to him - he will follow the Ancient Roman policy - every xenos have the right to be the citizen in his empire - but a 2nd class one - with differed taxes. The older Corax - has embraced the warp, taking advantage of it, instead of shielding from. His wise old self recognise that for the strong, the warp (not the entities there) is neither good or evil. One should only appreciate and take advantage (with caution) of ones essence after all'. IF Dorn is returning, he would likely be less a rigid perfectionist, no longer such a pain-in-the-arse. And maybe after many, many slow talk by Gulliman and no less than few smack in the head by the Lion, will accept that many things are not his fault and whatever will be (or has been), will be. However, Leman Russ will comeback exactly the same. He is the Eternal Boy. Every family has one.

Vulkan returns to his gene-sons at the End Time, not the Imperium. That's the loophole 🫠
It’s ambiguous, the wolf time or ragnarok doesn’t necessarily need to be the end of the imperium. It could just be the end of an era, the end of what was, the end time before the final triumph and rise of humanity or just the end of everything.
I want a daemon primarch Lorgar to get a model reveal trailer only for it to end with a loud CAW and it’s a double reveal
And Corax is here with a steel chair
Im glad I live in a universe with Sandman of Terra. Thoughtful, informative, and with amazing voice for narration - you, sir, are gifted! Thanks for making these videos!
Thank you for watching!
I agree I think CC represents what the Primarchs can ascend to after they embrace their inner warp powers
As a grey knight fan I would love to see a book that has Corvus running into khaldor drago. I like edgy man + funny man would be a great mix
The best buddy cop story set in the 41st Millenium
It seems that corax is drawing power from the warp without being tainted by chaos. This suggests that whilst chaos is completely of the warp, the warp is more than just chaos.
I know it was old lore, but the warp was always more than Chaos. It is just that it became so corrupted after the War in Heaven that Chaos took most of it and for itself.
And old lore is that's what Russ went to find, the tree of life in an uncorrupted part of the warp, but if I remember correctly now it's the eldar healing goddess that's being a "guest" of nurgle atm
Same with the remaining eldar god's, the manifestation of the greater good and let's not forget Gork and Mork, as well as the Man Emperor of Mankind.. there is still power in the warp uncorrupted by and unaligned to the 4
Not to mention the Tyranid psychic influence and the Deep Things.
@templar628 I think a good story would be Leman Russ returning and saying that he found the path to the Garden on Nurgle and thr Tree of Life and is forced to make a new alliance with the Eldar to make the assault using the webway.
Corvis is chilling with Kaldor drago being a rascal in the warp
That Crowvus vs Lorgar picture goes hard as fuck, holy shit
Honestly dude, I just enjoy your videos. The information is in depth and has critical thinking, and your presentation is just enjoyable. Great video man.

There is a Video about this topic from Weshammer. Named: Is Corvus Corax A Giant Crow Demon? It goes in the same Direction.
Maybe the two missing primarchs developed into their ‘warp’ forms early on, like how Corvus has now, and because they did it so early on, the emperor saw this as them being in need of purging
The way they are described at various times I could see something of that situation happening
Corax:"...and I would have killed Lorgar too if it wasn't for his damn kids!"
And then some humble techpriest finds a way to turn Warp energy into a safe, clean, renewable power source. When he turns it on every entity in the Warp starts to weaken. The Warp powers flee our galaxy and never return.
Corax: "I count my oath fulfilled."
I always thought it was strange that The Lion didn’t sense Alpharius when the Alpha Legion first meets the Dark Angels to offer support… and Alpharius went on board The Lions ship disguised as an Astartes…
Although Alpharius could be an unreliable narrator during that event…
But based on his description….
Well that’s just alpharius and omegan’s power they can increase and hide their primarch aura.
He is in bo doubt an absolute monster!
The top 5 goes like this as far as duelists - Sanguinius, Angron, Russ, Lion, Corvus. Fulgrim in non demon form would get stomped by all of these. Mortarion would put up a good fight but would still probably lose to each of these primarchs.
Damnation, not elevation.
@@TheSickjits Nah, Angron isn't a duelist, he go forth and brrrr a load of dudes. take Angron out, swap Lion and Russ and bang the Khan between them ;)
How is the lion not in your top five duellists? He has practically has ultra instinct, spent his whole life studying swordplay and killing daemons.
OUR RAVEN DADDY AND OUR LEGION WILL HAVE VINDICATION......
"VICTORUS AUT MORTIS "
Chaos uninvited hahahaha now Iam calling it always like that
It never gets Old seeing Logar shitting himself🤣
YES YES YES YES I’ve been absolutely going crazy over your new lore videos
You could make similar video about most of loyalist primarchs lol
As a White Scars fan,I always wonder what the hell is Jaghatai still doing in the Webway,Guilliman and Lion could both use him and his approach to war now more than ever
He is probably running a void whale racing league for shits and giggles.
Imagine chaos infected him in a special way. He is mentally living in a time where The God Emperor God of Mankind wins or get off the throne and pretty much "said Have fun my sons"
Kahn is only coming back to stand with the Emperor, he hated the Imperium before now its worse than ever
Glad you enjoyed it!
I'd love it if GW came out of left field and said Corvus also ascended and became a chosen champion but his backer is Malice
Malcador did say in the lost and the damned that only one of the primarchs was strong enough to be told about chaos
Went for some Warpbloro cigarettes, and milk but never came back.
Underrated comment
Man this is great. I love this.
Best podcast on RUclips in my opinion
Keep up the good work
Cheers mate! Appreciate that!
Each one has had to discover and cultivate these powers in their own way.
i dont think it was that his power was "draining" just that he was getting tired so the warp sorcery holding the portal together was dissapearing
Lorgar Vs Corax is probably my favourite antagonist relationship. I even did a painting of it:)) only WH fanart.
I find it interesting how self perception has a tangible effect on the Primarchs. It has some fun implications on the Emperor as well:
‘Is this your true face?’ asked Corax.
‘I have no such thing,’ replied the Emperor. ‘I have worn a million faces over the millennia, according to need or whim.’
Controlling the ability would be a cool thing for him to do but it would be really interesting if over his long life he just learned to craft persona's that are just as real as his original self, eventually a long enough time passes and he forgets his original self, there is just some vague unstated goal (to us) and a million faces striving for that goal. It would make him nearly impossible to predict for the Chaos Gods but also for his own precognition.
Lorgar actually has a pretty unique position for future story writing as he wrote basically the space bible
I'd like Corax to come back to the setting but as neither loyalist or traitor but like a malice type character taking on a dark aspect like the night haunter.
Why??? Corvex even told Konrad that he is nothing like him and never will.
@@marty5144 But it was after that his legion got corrupted and he flew into the eye of terror. I think it would fit well with the irony of 40k if he became the true night haunter after being in the warp so long.
Eldritch Horror Corax is the best thing ever.
“I am *Vengeance* incarnate, I am *Justice* delivered.”
Well well well, look who we have here.
The 2nd narrated scene is one of the best 40k scenes imo
I imagine Khorne being hype AF for this fight. I took the power drain to be his focus shifting. Lorgar’s getting the brakes beat of him. He’s distracted.
The sister's of silence don't affect the Emporer. Actually it's the other way around the Emporer makes the sister's moist.
Would be cool if there's was a way to watch the extended version of this
Brilliant podcast keep up the great work
see if Corax has been doing war for the last 10k years would just be amazing for his character arc.
RE - Lorgar's power being drained. I don't think it was, I think he was just getting the stuffing kicked outta him.
Once again, awesome job!
Or like pretty much every psyker and navigator. Harnessing the warp without being corrupted is pretty standard. Even baseline humans do this.

The Story of Navar Hef is the best Part in theses books about the Raven Guard.
Corvus and Ferrus are my favorite primachs I think they are very underrated.
I want to see this fight animated
It would be really amazing if all Primarchs actually can steal a portion of chaos to help them reach their maximum potential and the change is depending on each Primarch imagination and how they think of themselves at their strongest. Corvus's crow form and Lion aging is just them reaching their highest potential as a being.
and it would be hilarious if later they reavealed that there is no need to fully submit to chaos and become Daemon Prince for Primarch to reach their highest potential.
He also doesn’t heal from his injuries because he is so depressed, they seem to be affected by their mental state, which humans also are just taken to another level with them
That'd be cool being besties with the emperor.

Lion L'Johnson looks old because his body is 10,000 years old. It was in real space the whole time in The Rock. Old lore has him in stasis, but what if he was actually just in a coma with his mind free in the warp. And the Watchers just kept a vigil while he slept.
Brilliantly presentation, thank you
I play RG because my mind works the way Corax does warfare in the lore.
That really suggests that Corax has pre-cog as much as Curze.
i thought that to about the Primarchs when i was readin Guiliman thinking he got older . it made no sense in my mind at that moment bc i was thinking the dude was in a stasis field to stop the spreading of the poison and not get de@ad De@ad . so the time wasnt moving inside his field or i assume so . then i thought that the primarch maybe project there feelings on there body . making them look older . or even not letting there body heal like Corax did (i think)
Now i really hope we get Khan , Vulkan or Corax return since they re my favorite but any primarch return will make for a good story
"I can't help but feel that CC gets the worst deal, while FM and Sangy do die.." not starting with the best case here sandman haha.
Corvus is such an underrated primarch. He makes other badasses look like wimps. He's the GOAT
I absolutely love the Warhammer 40K community thank all of you for welcoming me to your community 39:45

You may need to suspend your judgement a little while:
When primarchs are created, each are not only have an (or some) amplified feature/characteristic (+ve points) of their father but also amplified gap/weaknesses (-ve points) of their father's ... likely vis-a-vis a normal human (lack of certain emotions etc).
26:20 that's why they look like the cultures they grown up around ?
can it in some time/space warp-nonsense kind of way shape the astartes as well ? would Sanguinius look like a mongol had he grown up in Chogoris and by extension the blood angels ?
Clapping chaos cheeks as a godlike crow ,that's what his doing
