I don't understand why majorkill has more subscribers than sandman does... Dude your content is far and above better than 90% of other Warhammer 40K creators! We truly do appreciate everything you do Sandman! Thank you for being you, bud!
Kinda obvious isn't it? No one is gonna look at a 1:30:36 video and be like "man I'm eating well tonight". Majorkill has a way of telling lore(even if most of it is reddit nonsense that isnt even accurate) in entertaining way in 10 minute videos that are less of a task to get through. Ofc he gets more mainstream appeal than Hour long videos. Just the way it is.
I would love nothing more than instead of one saving the other, to have the Primarchs reunite to fight back to back against all odds. That the two are unexpectedly in the same place via warp shenanigans.
Damn, it's amazing to hear how everyone in 40K showed up to the big battle. All the big names were there. None of them died. The conflict was not resolved in any meaningful way. But it was peak fiction.
Most likely rule the Imperium for Chaos. Otherwise, just burn everything down. His entire thing during the heresy was that he hated the idea of the 'weak' being in charge. He hated that mortal men were going to rule the Imperium instead of the space marines, and he hated his father Horus because he deemed he failed because "He was too weak." But I don't know everything about him so I could be wrong.
Your little visualization of the anathame blade becoming 8 athame blades made me legitimately laugh. I feel like my brain had already shown me that, so seeing it literally appear on the screen a second later was hilarious.
We haven’t even seen the Guilliman and Lion reunion yet. Idk if I want the emperor to come back (end times) but I know that they stretch the story so much that we will have grey hair by the time he does
Lore wise those would still be cool but wouldn’t be as effective because a lot of Chaos’ power comes from the ritual significance, fear, and pain tied to blades.
I think Curze will come back as a robot effigy of himself as it just seems fitting for him. ive got Gargoyles the tv series in mind when thinking about this as id say itd look like robots and cyborgs in that show
Ciaphas Cain is the character who made me want more of the 'verse, so I always tell folks to start with his books. After all of his stuff I started at the beginning of the horus heresy
I have never hit pause in a vido so fast XD I listened to the first two books of dawn of fire, and checked a wiki on some of the characters. From what I read, the characters I liked the most in Gate of Bones either were killed off or not talked about again, and I stopped listening to the series. But hearing Yang is kicking ass and taking names, and Kesh is a saint now? God damn, I need to get back into the series XD
The emperor sounds like he’s creating a second emperor almost with the star child… like maybe we get two emperors in a similar sense to alpharius and omegons split soul in two bodies kinda thing ? One on the throne one going around bringing primarchs back/ burning the rot away
Or he’s creating a new vessel for himself to recombine both parts of his soul. Remember he told Cypher - not yet. Maybe when it’s time he will be killed on the throne and then reborn or his soul can combine with the star child. Maybe Russ and the Yellow King are going to find the star child and be foster parents as Valdor probably knows the plan.
@ my only thing with this is what about the imperiums lighthouse. If the star child is born as said will it remain lit/ running with the emperor on the throne now dead/ conjoined to the starchilds half ?
I think we have already seen in novel that part of the Emperor that he cut from himself in The and the Death. I wish I was a member so I could see your list of candidates, but I think it is already revealed in novels. Mephiston is OP af, but Mephiston feels okay about it. Sort of like Malcador is OP but it feels okay. There was a progression to get to his current state. At least to me, reading his progression over years, Mephiston feels okay to me. For me, Mephiston is being built up to maybe be a Malcador level of power type character.
49:35 what if instead of talking to big E, Lion is talking to Corax and they have been working together? Doesn't Corax have the ability to choose who can perceive him? If you add forest walking to perfect stealth, you have the ability to strike any target at any time.
Didn't the Lion talk to himself during the Horus Heresy, when considering dilemmas and issues? Or do people, since his reawakening, hear other voices, from rooms where The Lion is alone.
The Starchild may not necessarily be what we think it is - recently, I had gotten into the Warhammer 50k fanseries, and I must say... ya gotta see for yourself...
Star child is born though a political marriage from Guilliman and Yvraine. The rebirth of the Emperor is kept of upmost secrecy. As for the political marriage between them both it self, though how ever useful. Has brought in doubt and scrutiny already. The marriage is approved by both the Emperor and Eldrad who, to memory they both had or have an understanding humans and Eldar must work together. This would grant the Imperium another useful Allie, and could have a schism among other Eldar factions. Those not bending the knee won’t have leeway. The marriage could resemble that of Caesar and Cleopatra, and to that of Justinian the Great and Theodora. Would find the twist with the Witch being that her loyalty in Choas would be to- the DarkKing.
Doesn't all of the dawn of fire events happen prior to the plague war. and then Lion return is after that in like 150.M42. So this is likely to be less impactful to the following Lore. Maybe the Chaos gods are fearing the Dark King of the emperor was to be slain they need to slay the dark king too
@@Britishgridironfilms so as I understand it, the plague wars are about a couple of decades into indomitus. It's really not clear. So some overlap with dawn of fire

i did.. and its a pleasure to watch the video as always! :)
So where would one who is new to this universe start reading? I think the emperor is Sigmar just my two cents.

Majorkill has just been around longer , Sandman has those numbers in him for sure 😀
Because majorkill capitalised on the brief 'an Aussie explains' content spike
Sandman needs to do these videos in a bro shirt.

I mean, Lion's Firest Walk literally puts him in the exact place he needs to be when he needs to be there.
roboute will probably have some hard time dueling abby, but the lion will stomp him, he is probably one of the best duelist after Sanguinus
“And that problems name is Erebus”
Well…who on earth could have predicted Erebus could be a problem? 😂 it’s not like he’s ever done anything before👀
Leetu is gonna turn up at some point and kill him for the lols
Abaddon: Fulgrim sucks (Thinking about recruiting the Daemon PRimarchs)
Horus: First time?
Thank you for the video mate.. as always a pleasure to watch and listen to your stories, thoughts and your own view on what could happen.
Thanks man!

It would be hilarious if the star child is the necrons transferring from their necrodermis into a biological body.... far fetched i know but still.
Keep up the good work. I love the stories. Have a good thanksgiving bro!
Abby will send him a strongly worded letter?
"The blood angels are too good and perfect and not flawed enough."
Please keep doing more of these novel breakdowns!
Question, What would Abaddon do after he kills The Emperor? (Hypothetically)
What would be his mission after that?

His own arm leaps from his body and stabs him, screaming I Am Alpharius Arm
This was fantastic brother! Thank you
A Mephiston greatest hits video would be great 👍🏻 😊
So was there only THE Anathame, and later it was broken into several pieces of Athame, and could those pieces be forged into arrowheads or bullets?
Yes, always trust GamesWorkshop to have the imagination and personality of a pre-teen when it comes to naming things.

@Sandman of Terra, doesn't this mean The Emperor can explain to people how to fix the golden throne?
I tried the DoF books - the first one was good but it fell off fast. Major respect to those who were able to stick with it.
I struggled through the first book of Dawn of Fire book. The subplot, should have been a stand alone novella, or audiobook.
So there are more than one Anathames that are on display, just need to get another one then?
they're never mentioned again, so it's always a possibility
The Iron Magus does survive, "Hand of Abaddon". But she is badly damaged/hurt.
